#10: Pan vs. Wild Tiger

Top 10 Anime Villains That Got Their Asses Kicked

“Dragon Ball Z” (1989-96) Apparently, the World Martial Arts Tournament really does take all kinds. How else do you explain a child taking on a fully fledged fighter for the enjoyment of hundreds of spectators? Even before her days as an annoying heroine in GT, Pan still got a chance to show off her Saiyan bloodline in this wildly disproportionate battle. You have to feel for Wild Tiger here, first he has to go through the embarrassment of having a little girl be his opponent…only for her to then literally bitch slap him out of the ring!

#9: Mile vs. Mavis’ Dad

“Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in The Next Life?! (2019) And so begins the endless examples of isekai protagonists flexing on poor fools that decide to challenge them. In this instance, it just so happens to feature a dainty noble girl whose base power level is exactly half of the strongest creature in the land, something way beyond your average curmudgeonly knight. With her inbuilt stats, Mile is easily about to out-duel her friend’s overly strict father, beating him at his own game despite looking like she’s not so subtly flipped her god mode switch.

#8: Maple vs. Everyone

“Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense” (2020) Goes to show that throwing all your experience into one stat isn’t always a terrible character customisation choice, especially when it makes you damn near impervious to damage. Taking on other players in a battle royale, the dainty and somewhat naïve Maple finds herself as the frontrunner, mostly due to how nobody can do anything to damage her. With nothing more than her trusty shield, Maple completely cleans house without suffering even a dent. There were probably a lot of rage quits that day.

#7: Morgiana vs. Bandits

“Magi” (2012-14) The small stature and neon pink hair might fool you, but make no mistake, Morgiana is one of the deadliest beings to ever throw a punch. As a Fanalis, she’s capable of exerting such immense speed and force that a group of thieves and bandits prove to be nothing more than a warm-up. Even with a crazy amount of weapon wielding nomads surrounding her, Morgiana’s fists and feet easily overcome their assaults, leaving the lot of them broken and buried in the sand.

#6: Krul vs. Ferid

“Seraph of the End” (2015) Granted, we’d take any and all excuse to see Ferid get his batty backside beaten in, and if it happens to be at the hand of a vampire queen more akin to a dress-up doll, so be it. Growing tiresome of his attitude and behind the scenes meddling, Krul puts the weaker progenitor in his place with blows that paint the room with his blood. While it doesn’t quite knock the lax attitude out of him, at least it reinforces that for all Ferid’s scheming, he’s still far from the top of the food chain.

#5: Tanya vs. Sioux

“The Saga of Tanya the Evil” (2017) Being thrown into a warzone despite being half the size of every other soldier would usually put you at a major disadvantage. Luckily for Tanya, not only does she have a talent for aerial combat and zero empathy, but it helps when all your artillery is powered by magic. That’s not to say she hasn’t had some close calls. Driven mad by the power of Being X, Sioux goes out of his way to shoot Tanya out of the sky, even willing to detonate himself for the sake of victory. Only for the Devil of the Rhine to prove that there’s no one better when it comes to sniping soldiers.

#4: Hinami vs. Mado

“Tokyo Ghoul” (2014-18) While still very much part of a man-eating race, all Hinami and her family ever wanted was to live in peace. Something they were robbed of when CCG agent Mado got his hands on them. Seeking to finish what he started, Mado almost succeeds in cutting down Hinami and turning her remains into a weapon, like he did her family. However, with some assistance from Touka, the little Ghoul earns some sweet revenge of her own, using her newly formed Kagune to free Mado of those pesky limbs.

#3: Sarada vs. Boro

“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” (2017-) While the combined might of Boruto and Momoshiki might have been the thing to finish off this hulking member of Kara, it’s fair to say that Sarada did a lot of the heavy lifting. With most of their jutsu proving ineffective against Boro’s massive, regenerating frame, the young Uchiha goes all in for a risky yet decisive blow. Channelling her father’s signature technique, not only does Sarada succeed in conjuring a Chidori of her own, but damn well near splits the big lug in half. Like father, like daughter.

#2: Biscuit vs. Bara

“Hunter x Hunter” (2011-14) We knew that Gon and Killua’s new mentor was giving off some major big buff energy, but who would have guessed there was a whole JoJo character hiding inside that tiny frame? Taking on Bara of the Bombers, Biscuit displays an impressive amount of physical force with every blow traded, and when that proves to not be enough to bring down the mug Greed Island player, she brings out the literal big guns to finish him up. Guess you could say that Biscuit is one of the forerunners of the muscle girl genre.

#1: Arale vs. Vegeta

“Dragon Ball Super” (2015-18) It’s the battle we never knew we wanted, and one that Vegeta never saw coming. While very much a comedic crossover that doesn’t really take into account everyone’s power levels, it's nonetheless entertaining as all hell to see the Prince of Saiyan’s get so thoroughly thrashed by a robot pipsqueak. Between breaking the planet in half and sending Vegeta flying on repeated occasions, it’s fair to say that Arale bruised more than his pride in this bout. Poor guy will probably never live this down.
