VOICE OVER: Ryan Wild WRITTEN BY: Matt Demers
You'll be scraping your jaw off the floor this entire video. For this list, we're looking at the most alluring female characters to be featured in '90s cinema. Our countdown includes “The Fifth Element”, "The Mask", “Batman Returns”, and more!

#10: Xenia Onatopp

“GoldenEye” (1995) Throughout his decades-long history, gentleman spy extraordinaire James Bond has encountered many maniacal villains. But perhaps none were as stunningly dangerous as the ruthless Georgian assassin known as Xenia Onatopp. Portrayed by actress Famke Janssen, she worked for the Janus Crime Syndicate. Proficient in many forms of combat, Xenia was known to receive (ahem) a particular type of pleasure through her deadly attacks. She was also quite dangerous in the bedroom, having lured many men to their demise by way of a fatal thigh-grip. Xenia’s looks and legs can definitely kill.

#9: Leeloo

“The Fifth Element” (1997) Milla Jovovich has pretty much made a career out of portraying strong and sultry heroines. Her turn as Leeloo in the sci-fi classic “The Fifth Element” was definitely no exception to this rule. Since Leelo is a Supreme Being of the Universe, she’s genetically superior to humans. She also has a flawless appearance and is physically capable of taking down any enemy. Adding to Leeloo's allure are the dynamic outfits she dons in the film. Upon being regenerated in the lab, the alien being is dressed in nothing more than thermal bandages. She later switches to an outfit that combines combat boots, leggings, suspenders and a crop top. Apparently, the future Leelo lives in has a Multi-Pass to ridiculously mesmerizing fashion!

#8: Cassandra Wong

“Wayne’s World” (1992) There’s no question that Tia Carrere stands as one of the hottest stars of the '90s! Her fantastic starring role in the “Wayne’s World” film franchise really got all of our temperatures rising. Carrere brought plenty of beauty and charisma to the role of Cassandra Wong, the singer and bassist of the rock band Crucial Taunt. Commanding the screen with a sultry swagger and undeniable vocal talent, Cassandra served as a recurring love interest for heroes and villains. Wayne was even willing to reset the ending of the movie to ensure he could end up with her. Cassandra’s definitely a movie character worthy of his classic catchphrase: “ (insert broll of Wayne saying “Schwing!”)

#7: Angela Lewis

“Boomerang” (1992) Let’s face it: it’s pretty hard to stand out in a movie when cast alongside the likes of Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and others. But not only did Halle Berry stand out in the cult favorite ‘90s rom-com “Boomerang,” she broke-out! She plays a career woman named Angela Lewis who falls for Eddie Murphy’s ad exec character. Berry is absolutely breathtaking in the role. Her charming performance quickly endeared the actress to audiences and set the stage for a fruitful acting career. Berry’s scene stealing and crowd pleasing charms as Angela made sure we got to see her stun in many more cinematic outings.

#6: Vanessa Kensington

“Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” (1997) A spoof of spy films of the ‘60s and ‘70s, “Austin Powers” certainly had no shortage of bewitching Bond girl parodies. The insanely attractive model that assumed that role in the franchise that began in 1997 was Elizabeth Hurley. She played Vanessa Kensington, a British spy assigned to be Austin’s partner. Hurley showed off her gorgeous looks and flexed her comedic muscles in the part. When she’s helping Austin adjust to the ‘90s after his “unfreezing,” Vanessa is initially revolted by his womanizing ways before embracing his otherwise good nature later on. However, their love doesn’t last because the film’s sequel reveals her to be an evil “Fembot.” It wouldn’t be the last time Hurley gave a sexy villainous turn, but of course “Bedazzled” came out in the 2000s, not the 1990s. Regardless, evil never looked so good!

#5: Catherine Tramell

“Basic Instinct” (1992) With a simple uncrossing of her legs, Sharon Stone created one of the most titillating scenes in all of cinema. In the Spring of 1992, she steamed up movie screens opposite Michael Douglas in the erotic thriller “Basic Instinct,” cementing her stardom in the process. Stone portrayed Catherine Tramell, an enigmatic crime novelist who is the prime suspect of a very violent crime. She plays a provocative game of cat and mouse with lead detective Nick Curran, manipulating the situation every step of the way. Catherine took pleasure in teasing her foes and making sure all eyes were on her. And they definitely were...

#4: Carolina

“Desperado” (1995) Salma Hayek shined in her role as bad-ass bookstore owner Carolina for Robert Rodriguez’s celebrated “Desperado.” Prior to the role, Hayek’s star had yet to truly rise in Hollywood. That all changed when she steamed things up with Antonio Banderas - who would become a longtime collaborator - for the first time. Caught in the crosshairs of a war for revenge, Carolina is willing to do whatever is necessary to keep her small shop afloat. She looks absolutely stunning as she mixes it up with the best of them! Hayek would also go on to drop jaws in Rodriguez’s “From Dusk Till Dawn” a year later. She famously took center stage as a blood-sucking vampire with the body of a goddess named Santanico Pandemonium.

#3: Catwoman / Selina Kyle

“Batman Returns” (1992) From penguins to sadistic clowns, Batman’s rogues gallery comes in many shapes and sizes. The one character who exudes more sex appeal than the rest of the villains combined is Catwoman! Selina Kyle’s alter-ego was perhaps never as vivacious as she was in Tim Burton’s early ‘90s Batman sequel. Portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer, Burton’s Catwoman is presented as a lonely secretary turned vixen after her boss Max Shreck literally pushes her over the edge. We’d be remiss, of course, if we didn’t mention the iconic catsuit Pfeiffer donned in the role. Catwoman’s skin-tight black latex bodysuit with clawed gloves was so bewitching that Batman could barely resist her charms!

#2: Elena Montero

“The Mask of Zorro” (1998) Catherine Zeta-Jones made a star-making turn as Elena Montero, a feisty favorite in the late ‘90s version of the swashbuckling “Zorro” flick. She plays the daughter of the original hero who happens to start a steamy relationship with Antonio Banderas’ Zorro while in training. But not before they have a few hostile and cheeky encounters. It’s Elena’s beauty and volatility that make her truly stand out in the film, traits that Zeta Jones had no trouble inhabiting. The future Oscar winner made Zorro’s daughter into a formidable firecracker - and for that, we thank her! Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Sil “Species” (1995) Brandy / "Rollergirl" “Boogie Nights” (1997) Veronica Vaughn “Billy Madison” (1995) Josie McClellan “Career Opportunities” (1991) Jasmine Dubrow “Independence Day” (1996)

#1: Tina Carlyle

Tina Fey Biography (UPDATE)

“The Mask” (1994) It takes someone truly special to steal scenes opposite Jim Carrey. Cameron Diaz managed to do that time and again in “The Mask.” She plays Tina Carlyle, a sultry singer at the Coco Bongo nightclub who becomes the ultimate object of affection for meek bank clerk, Stanley Ipkiss. Their budding relationship is complicated by the fact that Tina’s already in a relationship with Dorian Tyrell, a dangerous mob enforcer with deadly ambitions. She eventually starts turning away from him when she falls for The Mask’s advances after an impromptu dance number. Of course, it’s Stanley’s sans-mask warmth that ultimately wins her over. Breathtakingly glamorous throughout, there’s really only one word to describe the character of Tina Carlyle:
