What about Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emilia Clarke, Zendaya and Billy Porter? Join MsMojo as we count down our picks for the Top 10 Best Dressed Celebs at the 2019 Emmys.

#10: Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Top 10 Reasons You Should Know Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Phoebe Waller-Bridge may come off as awkward on “Fleabag,” but she beamed with confidence on Emmy Night, especially after winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Comedy Series. The English actress/writer stunned at the Microsoft Theater, pairing her beige Monique Lhuillier gown with Swarovski earrings, and shimmering sequins decorating her waistline. She wasn’t afraid to embrace her body either with a daring V-neck; okay maybe, she was a little afraid, since she joked, “I can only move in certain ways because the girls want to come to the party.” As funny as she is fashionable, Waller-Bridge is anything but a fleabag.

#9: Mandy Moore

Top 5 Mandy Moore Performances

After three seasons of playing Rebecca Pearson on “This Is Us,” Mandy Moore earned her first Emmy nomination this year. To commemorate the special occasion, Moore wowed the paparazzi in an eye-catching Brandon Maxwell gown. The singer turned actress was draped in a red skirt and a pink, off-the-shoulder bodice. Moore matched her skirt with red and gold high heels. Glowing in classic Valentines colors, Moore looked like she was literally wrapped up in love. Likewise, everyone fell head over heels in love with this look. While she wasn’t the only actress who wore pink and red that night, Moore definitely pulled the look off the best.

#8: Joey King

As Gypsy Rose Blanchard on “The Act,” this 20-year-old actress became unrecognizable with a shaven head, thick glasses, and layers of heavy clothing. King had an equally transformative moment at the Emmys where she donned a ruby Zac Posen dress. The strapless ball gown came complete with a red bow tied up in the back and a wavy skirt that lit up the auditorium. The Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie nominee paired her stunning dress with red earrings, which only drew more attention to her curly pixie cut. With the elegance of Audrey Hepburn, King further solidified her status as a star to watch.

#7: Jodie Comer

Sandra Oh looked like a rock star with a pink dress and hairdo that skyrocketed into the air, but this night belonged to her “Killing Eve” co-star. Jodie Comer won over some impressive nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series race, and the Liverpool native brought the house down in a killer Tom Ford dress. Although her character Villanelle is no angel, Comer had no trouble pulling off an all-white ensemble. Of course, Comer did sneak in a little of her dark onscreen persona with a pair of black heels. With long sleeves, a V-neck, and a sash around her waist, it’s a look that we could absolutely die for. Let’s just hope Villanelle doesn’t get any blood on it.

#6: Emilia Clarke

Top 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Emilia Clarke

The Mother of Dragons never got to rule on the Iron Throne, but Emilia Clarke ruled over the purple carpet in her navy-blue dress. Like Daenerys Targaryen, the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series nominee commanded awe from everyone around her. Clarke’s V-neck made its way over her shoulders and all the way down to her midriff. The ribbon tied around her waist only highlighted the English actress’ hourglass figure. She complemented her Valentino gown with a brunette hairdo and gleaming earrings. This ensemble reportedly took a page from Jennifer Lopez, and we can certainly see parallels to the Green Versace dress J.Lo wore to the 42nd Grammy Awards. Nevertheless, Clarke still made this look all her own.

#5: Regina King

You can always count on Regina King to class up a carpet. A three-time Emmy winner and a star of HBO’s “Watchmen,” King looked as elegant as ever in her turquoise Jason Wu dress matched with Irene Neuwirth jewelry. Her gown flowed like a glistening river, from her high neck collar to its extended train. Blue turned out to be an appropriate color for King, as she was selected to introduce this year’s In Memoriam tribute and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house by its conclusion. Even when she’s not up for any awards, King is always Queen of the ball.

#4: Brittany Snow

The Tragic Life of Brittany Murphy

This multitalented actress is set to star in the Fox drama series “Almost Family,” although we think she should audition to be the next Disney princess. Brittany Snow could’ve been mistaken for Cinderella in her light blue J. Mendel gown, which perfectly matched her naturally bright blue eyes. The white dots further contributed to the dress’ fairytale aesthetic, as if pixie dust had been sprinkled upon it. While we imagine the diamond earrings, Casadei shoes, and Stephen Webster ring didn’t come cheap, the secret to Snow’s glow only costs $15! Her vibrant lipstick couldn’t have gone better with her strawberry blonde hair and snow-white complexion. What else can be said except that this look is pitch perfect!

#3: Zendaya

Top 20 Memorable Zendaya Outfits

It just wouldn’t be an awards show without a fashion moment from Zendaya. As we’ve come to expect from the singer/actress, her ensemble balanced modern and timeless, and daring without being over-the-top. With the fiery hair of Princess Ariel and the seductive emerald colors of Poison Ivy, Zendaya had all of social media captivated by her Vera Wang dress. She especially heated things up with her translucent corset. The dress was also distinguished through a slit, showing off Zendaya’s leg and matching green heels. Between the “Spider-Man” films and “Euphoria,” Zendaya has been striving to prove that there’s more to her than the Disney Channel. This striking ensemble made her message loud and clear.

#2: Billy Porter

Say it with us now: the category is live, work, pose! Billy Porter made history as the first openly gay black man to win Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Living it up in Michael Kors Couture, Porter continued his long streak of scene-stealing award show looks. The black and silver stripes of Porter’s suit gave off serious Tim Burton vibes - with a hint of “Saturday Night Fever.” Since Porter abides by the saying, “go big or go home,” he went all out with a lengthy scarf, elevated shoes, and a Stephen Jones hat that roared with personality. If Porter was on the ballroom floor, he’d undoubtedly get 10s across the board. Before we get to our topic pick, here are a few honorable mentions: Betty Gilpin Naomi Watts Laverne Cox Emily Hampshire Rachel Brosnahan

#1: Jameela Jamil

On “The Good Place,” Jameela Jamil’s character is always the most stylish person in the room… unless her younger sister is around. Since Kamilah Al-Jamil wasn’t at this year’s Emmys, though, Jameela had little trouble keeping all eyes on her. Jamil compared her pale turquoise strapless gown to the likes of Princess Jasmine and this look indeed left every spectator speechless. The Monique Lhuillier dress also drew comparison to legendary actress Grace Kelly and her David Webb jewelry contributed to Jamil’s chic ensemble. However, Jamil left us cheering by doing her own makeup. Even more impressive, Jamil reportedly vomited from gastritis hours prior to the ceremony and still showed up looking like a goddess!
