They fell in love on set, but then got divorced. For this list, we'll be looking at co-stars turned real-life partners whose off-screen romance, unfortunately, didn't work out. Our countdown includes "Daredevil," "Pitch Perfect," "Dexter," and more!

While we can thank “Pitch Perfect” for making Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson household names, the hit movie can also be credited for the union of co-stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. The pair met while filming the franchise’s first film and got married in 2016. While they may have seemed to have a pitch perfect relationship, after just two years of marriage the couple decided to “mutually and amicably” split. Despite their unfortunate divorce, the two actors seem to be thriving separately; Camp is set to appear alongside Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening in the Paramount+ film “Jerry and Marge Go Large,” while Astin reprised his role in the Broadway musical “Spring Awakening” for the show’s 15th Anniversary special.

#9: Sophia Bush & Chad Michael Murray “One Tree Hill” (2003-12)

While Brooke Davis and Lucas Scott never ended up getting married on CW’s “One Tree Hill,” stars Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush did have a short-lived romance during the first three seasons of the beloved teen drama. The pair, who met on the set of the show’s first season, began dating in 2003 before getting married in a California wedding in 2005. Like a storyline straight out of “One Tree Hill,” Murray and Bush’s marriage only lasted five months before the pair ultimately filed for divorce. Despite their separation, in true Hollywood fashion, the pair would go on to co-star on the show for another six seasons - and we appreciate them all the more for it!

#8: Michael C. Hall & Jennifer Carpenter “Dexter” (2006-13; 2021-22)

While it may come to the surprise of many, this on-screen brother and sister duo were actually married in real life! Meeting on the set of Showtime’s “Dexter,” Hall and Carpenter shocked fans of the show when it was revealed they’d been dating since 2007, later eloping on New Year’s the next year. While the pair stayed united during Hall’s harrowing battle with hodgkin’s lymphoma, in December 2010 it was announced that they had officially separated. The divorce, however, had no impact on the co-star’s professional relationship as they continued to work together on the following seasons of “Dexter,” and appeared alongside one another on the continuation “Dexter: New Blood.”

#7: Chris Pratt & Anna Faris “Take Me Home Tonight” (2011)

When they announced their split in 2017, it came as a shock to many. The pair met on the set of “Take Me Home Tonight” in 2007 where they played a couple. While working together on-screen, their relationship off-screen turned romantic. In true Chris and Anna fashion, two years later the couple married in Bali while they were sick with food poisoning. After being married for eight years and welcoming their son Jack in 2012, Faris and Pratt announced they were separating after “[trying to make it work] for a very long time.” Is true love even real!?!?

They broke up multiple times over the course of their relationship, seemingly ending things for good in 2013. But, if Cyrus’s career has taught us anything it’s to expect the unexpected, which is exactly what happened when the pair reunited in 2016.
