We can't wait for these new additions to the MCU to be released! For this list, we'll be going over the future Marvel TV series, specials, and spin-offs that are the most anticipated. Our countdown includes "Loki", "WandaVision", “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, and more!

#10: “What If…?” (2021)

The title and premise alone are full of possibilities! This animated series is set to follow characters of the Infinity Saga, so basically the whole MCU thus far, in alternate scenarios than what we’ve seen. For instance, what if Peggy Carter had gotten the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers? With the whole thing narrated by Jeffrey Wright as the Watcher, and practically limitless potential, “What If…?” has our minds churning with ideas and our mouths salivating in anticipation! With its first season due to air in Summer of 2021, we won’t have to wait long.

#9: “Moon Knight” (2022)

Although very little is known about this show yet, what we do know has us…over the moon! “Moon Knight” follows the titular vigilante in adventures described by Marvel head Kevin Feige as being like “Indiana Jones.” The lore of the series is said to focus on Egyptian mythology. Additionally, the protagonist suffers from dissociative identity disorder, which is sure to offer plenty of chances for lead actor Oscar Isaac to display his range. There are a lot of cool elements here, and we can’t wait to see if “Moon Knight” can “eclipse” our expectations.

#8: “Ironheart” (TBD)

Although no release date or showrunner information has been announced for this show as of this writing, actress Dominique Thorne has been cast as Riri Williams/Ironheart. Riri Williams is an engineering prodigy and something of a successor to Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics universe as Ironheart. While she has proven somewhat divisive in her depiction there, we remain optimistic that Marvel can do a good job with the character in her Disney+ series. Plus, if it means we get more cool Iron Man style suit-ups and action, we’re totally down for it.

#7: “Secret Invasion” (2022)

If you’re at all familiar with Marvel comics, there will be a few big crossover events you’ll probably be familiar with: “Infinity Gauntlet,” “Civil War,” and “Secret Invasion.” The last of these sees several key Marvel heroes and characters replaced by Skrull infiltrators. The series is set to involve Nick Fury, as well as Talos, a Skrull the former SHIELD director is quite familiar with and who has worked with him before. Also, given that the show will be run by Kyle Bradstreet, who has previously worked on “Mr. Robot,” we feel like “Secret Invasion” is bound to be a twisty turn-y thriller.

#6: “Hawkeye” (2021)

Also in:

Top 10 Things You Missed in Hawkeye Episode 5

One of the main themes of Phase 4 of the MCU seems to be setting up the next generation of heroes. One of the burgeoning heroes we’re most excited for is Hawkeye’s successor/protégé, Kate Bishop, who will be starring alongside Clint Barton in this Disney+ show. Jeremy Renner is back as Barton and Hailey Steinfeld will be playing Bishop. Unlike most of the “successor” characters, this show will give us the opportunity to see Hawkeye train and teach Bishop how to shoot a bow and arrow real cool. Oh, and there’s a dog!

#5: “She-Hulk” (2022)

Jennifer Walters is a lawyer and the cousin of Bruce Banner. Like her famed cousin, she is also able to turn into a green monster, and in the series, she’ll be played by Tatiana Maslany. “She-Hulk” is set to be unlike anything else we’ve seen in the MCU thus far – it’s a legal drama! The way laws would change in a world full of superpowers, aliens, magic, and future tech is fascinating. Also, the chance for other Marvel characters involved in the legal profession to appear is definitely there. Two characters confirmed to appear though are the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and Tim Roth as Abomination! Somehow we doubt they’ll manage to contain their dispute to a courtroom…

#4: “Ms. Marvel” (2021)

Top 10 Actors Who Have Been in Both Marvel and DC Shows

The MCU hasn’t seen too many younger superheroes yet, who aren’t named Peter Parker, and “Ms. Marvel” is just the ticket to offer some much-needed diversity on that front. Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, is a Pakistani-American superhero fan who gains superpowers herself. The young female lead and showrunner, Bisha K. Ali, have us hopeful for a fresh perspective. Also, the format and down-to-earth heroism could give the show a flavor similar to the DC shows that have been so popular on the CW…only with a Disney sized budget!

#3: “Loki” (2021)

Also in:

Top 10 Things You Missed in Loki Episode 6

Thor’s duplicitous, evil brother Loki is among the MCU’s most popular villains, so everyone freaked out about the potential for his series when it was announced. Now that we’ve seen more, we’re even more excited! Due to be released in May of 2021, “Loki” will follow the god of mischief encountering a mysterious organization and…that’s really all we know still. The trailer has us confused, yet intrigued, as the presence of Owen Wilson, an apparently presidential Loki and a possible confirmation of him being D.B. Cooper have us asking what else is in store!

#2: “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” (2021)

Top 10 Behind The Scenes Facts About The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Both successors to Captain America (in the comics at least) in one show together? Sign us up! Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are back, and while details on the plot are still scarce, the show will feature the return of Helmut Zemo from “Captain America: Civil War.” Also, that fantastic trailer has us feeling a definite “Winter Soldier” vibe – the movie not the character…well, the character too. The point is, it looks like an awesome spy thriller just like that film, and we are here for it! And did you see that amazing aerial chase scene with the Falcon? March 2021 cannot come soon enough! Before we get to our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions: “I Am Groot” (TBD) Animated Shorts Featuring Baby Groot? Shut Up and Take Our Money, Marvel! “Armor Wars” (2022) We Are Lookin’ for This, War Machine! “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” (2022) We Want Drax and Groot Cosplaying Christmas Trees!

#1: “WandaVision” (2021)

Top 10 Moments from Season 1 of WandaVision

Even with two trailers out, we’re still not sure how this show exists, but we’re glad it does, because there doesn’t seem like there’s been anything else like it. Scarlet Witch and Vision seem to be living their best lives, married in a suburban dreamland straight out of a sitcom, complete with a laugh track. Something seems to be lurking underneath the surface though, which could add a psychological element to the proceedings. Whatever’s going on, we won’t have to wait long to find out, because “WandaVision” is dropping on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021.
