#10: Will Christopher Be Back To Stir Up Trouble?

Top 10 Things Gilmore Girls Need to Do If It Comes Back

Let’s be honest; it’s weird for everyone when your biological father shows up later in your life. We can’t tell if Chris really wants to be a better father or if he just wants to be with Lorelai again. We’re certainly led to believe the latter on multiple occasions, and things usually take a turn for the worse. Eventually, of course, Lorelai realizes she still has feelings for Luke, resulting her divorce from Chris and an awkward encounter at Rory’s Yale graduation. Eesh… Although Chris’ return has been confirmed for “A Year in the Life,” we sincerely hope he’s grown as a person; we can only take so much of his douchebaggery.

#9: Where Has Lane’s Father Been?

MsMojo Can Fix It: Rewriting Lane Kim's Story on Gilmore Girls

Seriously, where the hell is this guy? Did he leave Lane and her mother like Christopher did with Lorelai and Rory? Is he somewhere across the globe on an extremely long business trip? Is he even alive? We’ve heard Lane refer to “her parents” and yet, the only parent we see is her frightening mother. Since Lane has gone through heartbreak and marriage, all the while being controlled by a single parent, daddy couldn’t come at a better time… if he even exists, that is. Imagine he’s the last thing we see at the end of the revival! Whoa.

#8: Did Kirk Ever Move Out of His Mom’s House?

Top 5 Burning Vampire Diaries Questions We Need Answered

Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, there’s Kirk. Sitcom references aside, Kirk is one strange character, from the night terrors that cause him to go streaking to the fact that he’s had a job in almost every single established business in Stars Hollow. Examples? Since the start of the show, he’s been a mailman, cashier, assistant manager, photographer, DJ, and realtor trainee, just to name a few. We know he was sitting on enough dough to buy a house at one point – if only Luke and his vision of a “dream home” hadn’t gotten in the way! We’re mostly kidding, but assuming he’s still with Lulu, maybe Kirk managed to move into her place or got them one of their own? Or did he move in with Emily? Dun dun dun.

#7: Whatever Happened to Paris Geller?

Top 10 Gilmore Girls Plot Holes You Never Noticed

Throughout the series, Paris has grown more than maybe any other character. We’ve seen her at her lowest of lows, whether she’s being rejected by Harvard, having an affair with Asher Fleming, or leading the Yale Daily News with an iron fist and facing mutiny. But eventually, we really just wanted to see her happy and for her to figure out what she wanted. Finally, FINALLY, Paris got the support that arts and crafts just couldn’t provide: Doyle McMaster. Thing is, did they stick together once Paris braved Harvard Medical School? Is she one of the top doctors in the country? Could she be on her way to becoming the United States Surgeon General? Most importantly, did she ever calm down?

#6: Did Jess Become a Famous Writer?

Also in:

Top 10 Times Dean Was the Worst on Gilmore Girls

Our favorite bad boy has grown up over the years, and the last time we saw him, he was starting his life as a writer. He even managed to land a publishing deal with Truncheon for his short novel, “The Subsect.” What’s become of him since then? Fortunately, since Jess’ return in the show’s revival has been confirmed, we can come up with a few interesting scenarios that’d bring him back to town. Did his book bomb, causing him move back to Stars Hollow and start over? Was it a success and he’s simply visiting to check in on Rory? Or maybe he’s writing a book on Stars Hollow!

#5: Are Friday Night Dinners Still a Thing?

Also in:

Top 10 Gilmore Girls Episodes That Are PEAK Autumn

Attending a weekly dinner with your grandparents in exchange for free tuition money might sound like a cakewalk, but most families aren’t as argumentative as the Gilmores, which makes for some rough dinners. Based on promotional photos, it looks as if the Gilmore tradition is still going, and that Luke’s there? Sadly, there’s one place at the table that’s sure to be empty. As most fans of the show know, Edward Herrmann – who played Richard Gilmore with gravitas and warmth – died in 2014. It’ll be a tough subject for both cast members and characters to tackle, but we just hope there’ll be one last Friday Night Dinner to enjoy – with interesting facts galore.

#4: Who Does Rory End Up With?

Also in:

Top 10 Times The Guys From Gilmore Girls Were The Worst

We’re not sure we’ve ever been as attached to TV boyfriends as we became to Rory’s. We never REALLY wavered about who Lorelai was supposed to be with, but Rory had several strong contenders. And with all three former flames scheduled to appear, everything’s up in the air and fans are making cases for their favorite guy. Did Dean get a haircut and decide he fits in Rory’s world? Will Jess demand a follow-up kiss now that Rory’s single? Will Logan give Rory ANOTHER ultimatum? Did she find someone completely new and get married to him instead? We gotta know!

#3: What’s Rory Up To?

Also in:

Top 10 Rory Gilmore Moments That Make Us Yell at Our TVs

Throughout the series, Rory built a pretty impressive résumé. She replaced Paris as editor for the Yale Daily News, became an intern for the New York Times, and finally, a reporter to cover Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The revival is bound to be as culturally aware and relevant as ever, and we even caught a glimpse of what Rory might have been up to since we saw her last via Twitter. That’s right, she’s been hanging out with FLOTUS herself, Michelle Obama! Then, a month before the release, “Gilmore Girls” threw us a curveball and released a trailer where Rory says she’s jobless. Does this mean she’s not working at the New York Times?

#2: Did Luke & Lorelai Have Their Happy Ending?

Also in:

Top 10 TV Characters Who Were Denied Their Happy Ending

Between the coffee, the chuppahs and the witty banter, we wanted these two together from day one. But it was neeeever that easy, what with the dating-other-people and surprise children, and in the end things are left pretty ambiguous as far as their relationship is concerned. In a trailer released October 25th, we see some handholding – yay! – but it seems like there’s trouble in paradise yet AGAIN for our favorite couple. We refuse to believe that they won’t stay together this time, but have to speculate why there might be a rift. Maybe they have a kid or two? You saw the apple in that Instagram photo! No matter what these two are doing, as long as they’re together, we’re all in. Before we reveal our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions: • What Happened to Logan? • Are Hep Alien Still Together? • Does Taylor Still Rule Stars Hollow With an Iron Fist? #1 (FAKE): Where Did All the Anvils Go? Just kidding.

#1: What Are the Final Four Words?

Young Sheldon Season 7: Top 10 Questions We Need Answered

As any “Gilmore Girls” fan knows, the seventh season is a bit of an outlier in the show’s history. It just… doesn’t feel right. This is in large part due to show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s exit after contract issues with the CW. And Sherman-Palladino had more than just a vision for these characters and the series: she knew what the last words were going to be. Because of her exit, those words were never shared… until now! We get excited just saying that! We can only speculate what the phrase might be, and which character will have the honor of speaking it. Is it a confession of love? Or will it include two of the funniest words ever? We can’t wait to find out! Do you agree with our list? Which “Gilmore Girls” mysteries do you need resolved?
