#3: Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner to Voice Timon and Pumbaa?

Timon and Pumbaa are at it again! Only this time, it’ll be in live-action with Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner possibly voicing the iconic duo. According to sources, Rogen and Eichner are in talks with Disney to play the bumbling pair in Jon Favreau’s modern retelling of The Lion King. Donald Glover has already been cast as Simba, with the legendary James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa. Rogen is known for his stoner comedies, but is no rookie to animated films, having starred in Kung Fu Panda and Horton Hears a Who! The loud and brash Eichner has appeared on Parks and Recreation and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and also stars in his own show Billy on the Street. This also comes off the heels of more Disney news, where last Week Will Smith was said to be in discussions to play the Genie in the upcoming Aladdin remake.

Fans of M. Night Shyamalan knew something was up when a certain cameo happened in Split. Sure enough, there was. Shyamalan revealed through a series of tweets that his next film would be a sequel of not only Split, but Unbreakable as well. What a twist! Titled Glass, the film will bring both stories together and all the major players of both films. James McAvoy returns from Split as Kevin Wendell Crumb (and his 23 different personalities), Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson come back as David Dunn and Mr. Price from Unbreakable, and Anya Taylor-Joy reprises here role from Split. According to sources, the film will follow McAvoy’s Beast, with Willis’ Dunn pursuing him in “a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets to both men.” Think this one has a twist ending? They did it. The Jurassic Park franchise has brought back Jeff Goldblum to reprise his role of Dr. Ian Malcolm. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Goldblum will be back in the land of dinosaurs in Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ sequel to Jurassic World, which will see him join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Goldblum will work with director J.A. Bayona, who’s leading the project while Colin Trevorrow, director of the first Jurassic World took on the writing job. Goldblum played Ian Malcolm, a chaos theory mathematician who was brought to Isla Nublar in the original Jurassic Park as an insurance consultant. His appearance in the upcoming sequel will be the character’s third within the franchise, with Jurassic Park, and The Lost World coming before.

I was very glad when I heard that news I always wanted Jeff Goldblum to return to Jurassic Park Series.
