Supervillain Origins: Hector Hammond

He is the large-headed telepathic enemy of the Green Lantern, and is notorious for feeding on the positive thoughts of others. Originally a petty criminal on the run from the law, he stumbled upon fragments of a radioactive meteorite. Deciding to kidnap four scientists and expose them to its transformative effects, their intelligence rose exponentially. Forcing his mutated prisoners to create advanced technology, he sold these inventions to accumulate vast amounts of wealth. Eventually discovered and arrested by The Green Lantern, he later escaped and sought vengeance by returning to the Meteorite and exposing himself to its cosmic rays. With his brain growing to an enormous size, he developed telepathic and telekinetic powers, but became immobilized.
