Once the GOD KING of fantasy epics, has now become a shell of it's former self. You all know the story, everything changed when the final season came and went. Even though we have two spin-off shows, things are shaky enough as it. Nobody wants to see this franchise become the next Walking Dead.
You know the story, one success, and the company starts squeezing all they can until the milk curdles. And BOY did it curdle!

Another zombie show. Oh, I don't mean it's a show about zombies. In this context, I am referring to a show that has been on the air so long to the point where despite all the backlash and begging to just end already, IT JUST! WON'T! DIE!

Here's the sad part. Star vs The Forces of Evil, on it's own, is a good show. But it's burdened with the worst baggage with the inclusion of it's final season, which eventually ends on a sour note. If Samurai Jack an retcon it's ending with a video game tie-in, why not Star?

Talk about a fanbase turning on a show practically overnight. No one was happy with the final season and finale of Voltron. What happened with this show's development behind the scenes?! Were the writers in a rut? Did they lose their touch? Did Netflix get in the way? Or was it a combination of all 3?
