Welcome to MojoPlays and today we're looking at the most difficult video game enemies of all time.
Kill it with fire! Oh wait...Welcome to MojoPlays, and today, we’re counting down our picks for the Video Game Enemies Nobody Could Kill.

For this list, we’re looking at a handful of enemies in video games that many of us had extreme difficulty getting rid of. We'll be including those that can't be slain by conventional means, as well as those that took every last resource and drop of patience to best.

Clickers

“The Last of Us” (2013)

When they’re alone, Clickers aren’t too difficult to deal with. In groups, they’re a force to be reckoned with. While these fungus zombies can be taken out with a single bullet, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. Their movements are fiercely erratic, which makes landing a hit near impossible. You can’t melee them either, and attempting to will cause an insta-kill involving them taking a bite out of Joel's neck meat. Even if you have good aim, you’ll only have enough time to take out a couple of Clickers before the rest come a-calling. Best take the stealthy approach.

Great Crabs

“Dark Souls III” (2016)

Almost everything can kill you in this franchise, from the most nightmarish of Lovecraftian creations to something as basic as a giant crab. It's Dark Souls, what do you expect? These massive crustaceans have both speed and strength on their side, so don't think you'll win this one with fancy footwork alone. Throw in the fact these shelled behemoths are commonly found in swamps (you know, the areas that can drastically slow you down?) and its no wonder every Ashen One worth their salt chooses to simply make a break for it instead lock swords!

The Hunter

“Dead Space” (2008)

When you see a Necromorph, common sense says to shoot the limbs off, right? Well, that plan may work most of time, but not so much when you’re going up against this guy. This unholy piece of ugly has the ability to regenerate its limbs within seconds, no matter how many times you cut it down to size. The only way to defend yourself is keep it suspended in Stasis long enough to lure it to the Ishimura's Engines, and then burn baby burn! Now you’re cooking with power, Isaac!

Spontaneous Bootay

“South Park: The Fractured But Whole” (2017)

Given that this is coming from the warped genius of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, it’s no surprise that someone like this not-so-little lady would make an appearance. While chasing after Classi and wading through her gang of strippers, players are forced to make a break for it in order to avoid this living wall of buttocks. Spontaneous Bootay is impossible to defeat, and if you take too long to progress, you’ll find yourself crushed underneath her enormous assets. Oh, and did we mention her attack results in an instant game over? We’ve never been more terrified of someone's behind!

Regeneradores

“Resident Evil 4” (2005)

The name alone should paint a clear enough picture of just how frustrating these freaks are to deal with. Living bioweapons? More like living bullet sponges. Just taking on one can significantly reduce your ammunition by at least half! Of course, some players get carried away and are low on ammo even before they even encounter one, and while they may be as slow as moldy molasses, getting caught in one's embrace does not make for a good time. Especially if you encounter their prickly cousins - the Iron Maidens. Best make a beeline past them and hope they're not in a hugging mood.

Golden Lynels

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” (2017)

Ahh, the Golden Lynel. So beautiful, so majestic, and so freakin’ hard to beat that it nearly made me tear my damn hair out! These guys are so difficult to defeat that they can only be encountered in “Breath of the Wild’s” Master Mode! In addition to wielding a devastating Flameblade, they also boast an obscene amount of health that also REGENERATES. Come on, Nintendo! Yeah, you’ll get some rare materials upon defeating the golden bastard, but the arduous nature of the fight can be so overwhelming at times that even Ganon starts to look like an easier option!
