Do you ever see anyone reload? Welcome to Watch The Walking Dead, the weekly show where we look at the most fun and interesting moments, references and easter-eggs in the newest episode of AMC's The Walking Dead. Today we're looking at Season 8 Episode 2, "The Damned". #3 Morgan Thinks He Can't Die Early in the episode Morgan tells two very confused Hilltoppers "I don't die". But this wasn't just Morgan making a joke or talking big, he genuinely doesn't believe that he can be killed and at this point we are a little convinced. Its easy to forget that Morgan was first introduced all the way back in the very first episode, one of the few cast members to go back that far and still be around (we'll get to you in a moment Morales). Also how did somehow survive that hail of gunfire at point blank range? Is it any wonder he goes all Baba Yaga without even thinking about his own safety? #2 Jared After Morgan's John Wick inspired rampage, he comes face-to-face with someone who he has quite a lot of beef with, Jared. For those who didn't recognize him, Jared is one of the saviors who regularly met with the Kingdom and accepted their offerings to Negan. He's the one who shoots poor Benjamin in the leg, leading to the kid's death. It is a little weird that Jared is almost happy to see Morgan, especially given the immediate situation, but then again he clearly isn't up to speed on Morgan's less than passive character arc. Before we get to our top moment, here are some of the best lines from this week’s episode: “It’s like your d–k knows you’re wearing pants!” "Living sounds good to me" "Yes. And yet I smile!" #1 Morales And now we get to the biggest twist of this episode, the return of Morales. Actor Juan Gabriel Pareja hinted at his character's return on Twitter back in January 2017 saying "The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a bat, is a good guy with a bat." His tweet references that Morales uses a bat to kill walkers during his brief appearance on the series but also made everyone think that he would be fighting alongside Rick against the saviors and not the other way around. Was this just to keep his tweet spoiler free or will we see Morales switch sides?
