#20: Missy Parkin
“Jackass 4.5” (2022)
This professional bowler arrives with smiles as she prepares to hurt Danger Ehren. With most of the crew watching, the stunt performer sits at the end of the lane as Missy Parkin rolls. The subsequent segment involves two powerful throws with a heavy ball. Parkin seems eager to get going, giving additional details about her strategy and accuracy. Ehren is first hit in the thigh in a painful moment. Judging by his reaction, the man doesn’t want to get another bad hit. The athlete then rolls a perfect strike into the target. It might be the most dangerous trip to a bowling alley we’ve seen, with the end result sending chills down our spines.
#19: P.K. Subban
“Jackass Forever” (2022)
As Danger Ehren continues along his cup test, he ends up at an ice rink. He then puts on pads to become a wannabe hockey goalie. The taunting starts before the would-be victim even gets into position. P.K. Subban seems especially eager for target practice, firing well-placed pucks at Ehren. The first shot heads directly for his protective helmet. Most normal people would’ve taken that hit and left, but “Jackass” doesn’t let their cast members off that easily. Subban sets up again before firing a precise shot. The bullseye rattles the guy down to the frozen surface, likely creating a future nightmare for viewers.
#18: Jason Taylor
“Jackass Number Two” (2006)
Most of the dangerous stunts on “Jackass” need some adult supervision. For this segment on a Miami bridge, NFL player Jason Taylor joins the viewing party for a fun watch. He provides moral support for a bungee jump starring Wee Man and Preston Lacy. The duo are tied together before they leap off the structure and into history. After witnessing the whiplash, Taylor and company react like they’ve just seen a game-winning touchdown. Lacy and his stunt partner live to tell the tale after such a chaotic lift-off. Thankfully, the hall-of-fame defensive end didn’t have to go in after the two.
#17: Machine Gun Kelly
“Jackass Forever” (2022)
Depending on how you feel about this singer, this might be your favorite segment of “Jackass Forever.” Machine Gun Kelly boards a stationary bike with a huge hand ready to slap him. If we’re to believe the people behind this idea, the winner sends the loser flying back into a pool. The performer races Steve-O as the tension builds. Pedaling like his life depends on it, Kelly receives a healthy hit from the oversized palm. This might’ve just been the most elaborate way to prank MGK. Along with the Rube Goldberg-engineering, this concept feels like the crew once again topping themselves in terms of setup and execution.
#16: Eric Koston & Clyde Singleton
“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)
If you’ve ever tried skateboarding, you know that it’s not easy. This makes Johnny Knoxville’s impending stunt all the more nerve wracking. He gets some pointers from Eric Koston and Clyde Singleton, watching as the former easily rides down the rail. Knoxville ultimately needs these professionals to put him into a starting position. Holding the stunt man in place, Koston and Singleton let go as the “Jackass” star flies down the stairs. He somehow makes it even farther than you’d expect. Just before the end, he slams and takes a proper hit. Now that’s what we call dedication.
#15: Mike Judge
“Jackass 2.5” (2007)
We’re not sure what Mike Judge knew before he showed up for this one. The “King of the Hill” creator giggles next to the “Jackass” cast members, preparing to put a fireplace bellows where it’s rarely been before. Judge becomes an unwitting participant in a tightly-wound scene for Preston Lacy. After determining who gets the honors, Steve-O joins to help this experiment reach new heights. Lacy finally gets it to work at the worst possible time. Despite all of the dodgy build-up, the “Beavis and Butt-Head” performer gets some level of joy out of this gross display of brotherhood.
#14: Francis Ngannou
“Jackass Forever” (2022)
It goes without saying, but we’re pretty sure this ranks among Danger Ehren’s most terrifying moments. Heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou emerges as the challenger to the proverbial cup. While Ehren might’ve been expecting a lightweight, he gets one of the more powerful punches of its kind. He even has to stand on top of two chairs when it happens. Ngannou delivers a shockwave that sends the target toppling over. We’re not sure what it feels like, but we can only imagine how much the protective device saved him. The athlete seems happy to oblige the “Jackass” crew in this monumental show of force.
#13: Jay Chandrasekhar
“Jackass Number Two” (2006)
We’re not sure if you could do this today, but back in 2006 the “Jackass” team did one of their boldest stunts ever. It involved a long setup with Danger Ehren putting on a questionable beard, hopping in a taxi, and talking about bombs. Little does he know that he’s being driven by actor Jay Chandrasekhar. The “Broken Lizard” member turns the tables on Ehren, pulling a gun on the cast member and throwing him in a trunk. It’s such an elaborate plot that somehow manages to pay off. Chandrasekhar plays an angry driver well, selling the reality of such an insane idea.
#12: Mat Hoffman
“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)
Anytime you see him in a “Jackass” project, Mat Hoffman brings his A-game. This stunt puts him in a large suit for some extra-hard skateboarding. Not one to hold back, the BMX rider drops in and immediately slams into the half-pipe. He apparently hits so hard that he injures his wrist. While that might’ve been the end for your average performer, Hoffman hops back on his bike for another round. Both Bam Margera and Tony Hawk join him on this journey of sweat, stunts, and countless falls. We’re amazed that this legend can still work his magic with all of the extra gear.
#11: Erik Ainge & Jared Allen & Seann William Scott
“Jackass 3D” (2010)
Two athletes and an actor show up for this destructive trip to the gridiron. Suiting up with the “Jackass” crew, the football players join in on the action as Seann William Scott becomes a referee. Johnny Knoxville ends up with the ball before getting absolutely decimated by a tackle. The “American Pie” star watches in horror as Jared Allen blindsides Knoxville. If the first hit doesn’t look bad enough, the NFL stars gear up for round two. Allen really lays into his target the second time. Everybody seems to be enjoying themselves, especially knowing that nobody got seriously injured during this scene.
#10: Three 6 Mafia
“Jackass 2.5” (2007)
This hip hop group was all the rage in the late 90s and early aughts, so we all know what that means– they’re destined to be mercilessly pranked by the “Jackass” crew. While Three 6 Mafia had made a handful of appearances across the franchise, one moment from “Jackass 2.5” stands out as the absolute funniest. Wee Man hides out in a cooler, toting a water gun filled with… well… wee, man. When they go to grab a drink, not only are they shocked by the undercover operation, they get sprayed– or tinkled, we suppose.
#9: Rip Taylor
“Jackass 3D” (2010)
Not every cameo needs to last long to be impactful. For the finale of “Jackass 3D,” the cast barely survives the destruction of their set. A rush of water sends them out of the stage as Rip Taylor waits for them. The celebrity can’t help but announce his excitement and confusion at the entire scene. As if the sequence isn’t already jam-packed, this guest arrives to provide one more dose of absurdity to it all. Reacting to the chaos, Taylor’s exuberant energy caps off a truly exciting piece of footage, as it also does in the previous two features.

Anybody that knows “The Eric André Show” wouldn’t be surprised to see its host hanging out with the “Jackass” cast. One of his best moments with the guys happened when he joined them for a sketch called “Down the Clown.” As one of the human targets for a tennis player, André receives high-velocity shots to his body. It’s especially funny to watch the guest receive extra attention from the athlete. By the end of the scene, the comedian has been hit more than anyone else. He and the others take the punishment like champions in an entertaining sequence.
#7: Tyler, the Creator
“Jackass Forever” (2022)
In a homage to old musical routines, the filmmakers orchestrate an elaborate dance with a few shocking twists. Tyler, the Creator joins in on the fun as the piano player for this ragtime disaster. Knowing a few things about the “Jackass” tricksters, the rapper acts suspicious around his bench even before he gets his first electrocution. This doesn’t stop the show or the inevitable buzzing from happening in a particularly funny way. After multiple shocks, Tyler still finds time to enjoy it all with a hearty laugh. The true satisfaction of this scene comes when the guest dishes out revenge on director Jeff Tremaine.
#6: John Waters
“Jackass Number Two” (2006)
Often considered the “Pope of Trash,” filmmaker John Waters feels right at home in this “Jackass” stunt. He dresses up as a bellhop in order to push Steve-O down the stairs. Waters is more than game to play the part, practically giddy as he sends his co-star to his certain doom. The director and Chris Pontius watch as the luggage cart topples over and the passenger hits the deck. Even though Steve-O takes a hard fall, the whole sequence has a goofiness that feels oddly infectious. The guest brings his A-game with some funny dialogue and a vibe that would fit perfectly in more “Jackass” films.
#5: Henry Rollins
“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)
Formerly the singer of bands like the Rollins Band and Black Flag, Henry Rollins has tons of experience on the punk scene. This allows him to bring some credibility to this hardcore moment. He drives a humvee as a tattoo artist inks up Steve-O’s arm. Rollins takes the vehicle off-road, keeping a solid pace through all of the bumps. It’s arguably the performer’s essential work in this sequence that makes the final product so hilarious. When the ride is all said and done, the crooked smiley-face on Steve-O serves as a funny end to a dramatic journey.
#4: Butterbean
“Jackass: The Movie” (2002)
Accepting an invitation to fight Johnny Knoxville, the boxer Butterbean proves to be a formidable foe in this sequence. The main difference between a “Jackass” matchup and a normal one is the unconventional setting. The fighter boxes Knoxville in a department store without pulling any punches. Having experience in heavyweight boxing, the professional athlete gives this performance his all in an impressive display of power. He then knocks out his opponent with a severe punch to the head. Giving the filmmakers some amazing footage, this violent scene features a championship for the ages courtesy of Butterbean.
#3: Tony Hawk & Mat Hoffman
“Jackass” (2000-01)
To help with one of the finest skateboarding stunts in “Jackass” history, Tony Hawk and other athletes try to conquer the loop. He fearlessly attempts the elaborate obstacle despite the threat of serious injury. Inspiring Bam Margera to take the plunge, Hawk’s supportive vibes make this clip even more positive. The Birdman finally conquers the track by making it all look easy. Joining together with BMX professional Mat Hoffman, the legend celebrates with a final run in a chicken suit. He’s more than willing to do crazy tricks and make fun of himself in the same epic appearance.
#2: Brad Pitt
“Jackass” (2000-01)
Believe it or not, there was a time that Brad Pitt appeared on the original “Jackass” show. Not only that, he went along with an idea where the guys kidnap him. The movie star waits in line for a hot dog until a van shows up full of questionable characters. Before anyone can help him, the actor ends up inside the vehicle and halfway down the street. It all looks so authentic that you can imagine the pedestrians were genuinely terrified. Always dedicated to the part, Pitt gives a convincing performance and appears more than willing to make fun of his celebrity status.
#1: Shaquille O’Neal
“Jackass” (2000-01)
Given his life as an NBA center, Shaquille O’Neal towers over most “Jackass” members. He’s also game to join in on the hijinks. One notable moment comes when the former all-star climbs on Wee Man’s back. This isn’t your average piggy-back ride, forcing the non-athlete to endure a tremendous weight on his shoulders. Surprisingly, the cast member holds on for dear life and succeeds. O’Neal hops off before anybody receives any life-altering injuries. It should’ve been the beginning of a longtime friendship between the two parties, but we can at least look back fondly at this scene.
