We've been glued to the internet in anticipation of these trailers, and they're almost here! For this list, we'll be looking at movies, shows, and games that are primed to receive major trailers in the foreseeable future. Our countdown includes "Uncharted", “Bob's Burgers: The Movie”, “Godzilla vs. Kong”, and more!

#10: “Stranger Things” Season 4

This hit Netflix series should return for its fourth and possibly penultimate season sometime in 2021. Although production was stalled in March 2020 because of the pandemic, shooting resumed in Georgia later that September. Around that same time, Netflix delivered a short teaser to hold fans over. While it didn’t reveal any clips, the tagline, “We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore,” suggests that Season 4 will venture to even darker places. As for when we might see a full trailer, Season 2 teased its first trailer during the Super Bowl. Could Season 4 have something similar planned? It’s hard to say with no official release date, and filming taking longer than usual, but we’re predicting that Netflix drops a trailer by the summer.

#9: “Bob’s Burgers: The Movie” (2021)

The feature-length adaptation for this Emmy-winning animated series was announced in October 2017. Since then, however, we’ve seen virtually nothing. Not only have we yet to get a trailer, but no posters, promotional images, or even concept art has been released. What makes this especially odd, is that the film was supposed to come in July 2020, so you’d think we would’ve seen a preview by March 2020, before the pandemic exploded. Much like what’s under Louise’s bunny hat, though, any footage remains unseen. The film is slated to come out on April 9, 2021. Even if this date shifts, we imagine that 20th Century Studios will deliver a trailer by then. They have to give us something eventually, right?

#8: “Uncharted” (2021)

Uncharted Vs Tomb Raider Franchise

Talks of an “Uncharted” movie have been circulating since 2008. Fans campaigned early on for Nathan Fillion to play Nathan Drake, although it appeared the role would go to Mark Wahlberg. As more time passed, Wahlberg was instead enlisted to play Victor Sullivan, while Tom Holland was ultimately cast as a young Drake. This film thus serves as a prequel to the games. Although COVID caused various delays, shooting reportedly wrapped on October 29, 2020. Days earlier, fans were treated to the first photo of Holland as the young adventurer. With Sony aiming to release “Uncharted” theatrically on July 16, 2021, we’re bound to see a trailer soon. But when? Since Holland is known for dropping hints, we’d suggest following him on Twitter for details.

#7: “The Suicide Squad” (2021)

Top 10 Over The Top Suicide Squad Characters

Don’t worry, Suicide Squad. James Gunn is here now. When Disney temporarily severed ties with the “Guardians of the Galaxy” director, Warner Bros. gave him several DC projects to choose from. Gunn went with the sequel to “Suicide Squad,” which will also serve as a soft reboot. While Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and several others will return, Gunn is expanding upon the roster with Idris Elba, John Cena, and Michael Rooker, amongst others. The DC FanDome event in August 2020 brought us a making-of featurette and a roll call. With the film coming to theaters and HBO Max on August 21, 2021, a trailer must be around the corner. Unlike the first “Suicide Squad,” hopefully the trailer isn’t better than the film itself...

#6: “God of War: Ragnarök” (2021)

Top 10 Best Fan Made Movie Trailers of All Time

In September 2020, the PS5 Showcase delivered several exciting announcements. Sony saved one of the best for last with a teaser for the “God of War” sequel. While the title isn’t necessarily set in stone, virtually everyone started calling it “Ragnarök” after the teaser dropped. Aside from the supposed title, the teaser kept things to a minimum, with Kratos’ cynical narration and choir music playing over a dark background, as an omega symbol formed. The release reveal of 2021 was more than enough to make us giddy, however. We still don’t know what month of 2021 and for all we know, it’ll be delayed until 2022. With every PS5 owner wanting the game, though, we should get a trailer soon to tide us over.

#5: “Loki” (2021)

Top 10 Best Loki MCU Moments

On the heels of “WandaVision,” several more MCU shows are heading to Disney+. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” is set to premiere on March 19, but the series we’re most curious about is “Loki,” which lands in May. Sneak peeks of both shows were unveiled on Disney Investor Day last December. Following his escape in “Avengers: Endgame,” we see the God of Mischief in the custody of Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius. The rest of the video paints the series as a crime thriller, with a time travel twist. Although some outlets have called this a trailer, Marvel Entertainment is labeling it as an “Exclusive Clip.” That must mean they have something even more glorious lined up for us, right?

#4: “Space Jam: A New Legacy” (2021)

‘90s kids have been asking about “Space Jam 2” since 1996, but the long-awaited sequel didn’t truly begin to materialize until LeBron James entered the mix. Even then, it was about five years before the film started shooting in June 2019. There have been numerous rumors about the plot, although still no concrete footage. The first major reveal came when James dropped the title and logo on Instagram last April. Since then, we’ve gotten a first look with LeBron and Bugs Bunny promoting an Xbox tie-in. We also got a brief snippet in an HBO Max preview, but it’s about high time we saw an official trailer. With the sequel arriving in theaters and HBO Max on July 16, it can’t be too far off.

#3: “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” (2021)

Top 10 Most Paused Zack Snyders Justice League Moments

After “Justice League” opened in November 2017, there were two major audience reactions: “Meh, that wasn’t too hot” and “Release the Snyder Cut!” And after the same hashtag for almost three years, it was officially announced that Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” would be coming to HBO Max. Initially “The Snyder Cut” will be released as a four-part miniseries, but all episodes will eventually be combined into a feature. In August 2020, the DC FanDome event dished out the first teaser, which was updated with more footage in November. Let’s just say that you can tell it’s a Snyder production based on the song selection. But we can expect a grander trailer before March 2021, when “The Snyder Cut” is finally released.

#2: “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” (2021)

Also in:

Shang-Chi: Origins

Phase 4 of the MCU is officially underway! The first feature in this new era will be “Black Widow,” and we’ve already gotten more than a few trailers. “Shang-Chi” is up next with a July 9, 2021 release date scheduled. Taking real-world events into consideration, we wouldn’t be surprised if Disney pushed the film back… again. In any case, Marvel will want to drop a trailer soon to maintain the immense hype. Seeing as how shooting wrapped in October 2020, there must be a plethora of footage waiting to be shared. We’re eager to see Simu Liu as the Master of Kung-Fu and Tony Leung as the Mandarin, not to mention the action sequences director Destin Daniel Cretton has cooked up.

#1: “Godzilla vs. Kong” (2021)

Top 10 Things to Remember Before Godzilla vs Kong

Say what you will about “King of the Monsters,” but the film had one of the most epic trailers in recent memory. So whether or not “Godzilla vs. Kong” is the MonsterVerse movie we’ve been waiting for, there’s little doubt that the trailer for this long-anticipated crossover will deliver. Based on what we saw in “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island,” we know that they have the technology to make this movie awesome. Now we just need a trailer to send our anticipation through the roof. Since it’s ostensibly hitting theaters and HBO Max on March 26, 2021, we’re kind of shocked that more footage hasn’t been released already. For now, we’ll just have to rewatch the “King Kong vs. Godzilla” trailer.
