#10: Aurra Sing
If you’re gonna be a bounty hunter in “Star Wars,” you’ve gotta have good marksmanship skills. And there are few better shooters than that of Aurra Sing. Active primarily in the Clone Wars, Sing’s biggest claim to fame is bringing up Boba Fett - more or less - the OG bounty hunter. After the death of Boba’s clone daddy Jango at the hands of Mace Windu, Sing gives him some pointers before they conduct a revenge mission against Windu. It fails, but not for a lack of trying. Sing’s distinct skills had her running with the best of them, until her luck finally ran out at the hands of Tobias Beckett.
#9: IG-11

When it comes to the IG-series of assassin droids, one has to recognize the original, IG-88 from “The Empire Strikes Back,” but it’s arguably IG-11 who’s had more memorable story arcs, if only in recent years. Though some droids can be clunky, IG-11 was designed for combat, with ultra sensitive sensors and swift arm movements to blast you at a moment’s notice. There’s also the added threat of never knowing when he’ll self-destruct. While his initial appearance portrays him as an unfeeling killing machine, the proof is in the programming, as the Ugnaught Kuiil is ultimately able to shift his attention to nursing and protecting his allies.
#8: Black Krrsantan

Known to the layman as the “evil Wookie,” there’s ultimately more to this character than meets the eye. After being banished from his homeworld of Kashyyyk, Black Krrsantan arguably only became more ruthless. Through a series of misadventures, Krrsantan ultimately found his calling as hired muscle, working for scum and villainy such as Jabba the Hutt and Darth Vader. This at one point leads him to go toe-to-toe with one of the finest Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Making his debut in a “Darth Vader” comic book in 2015, Krrsantan’s popularity has risen significantly in recent years thanks to his rough demeanor and cool design, finally appearing in live-action in “The Book of Boba Fett.”
#7: Asajj Ventress
Whereas most bounty hunters employ the use of blasters and various other low-level equipment, Asajj Ventress holds the distinction of being trained in the art of lightsabers. Ventress was brought up under the tutelage of Count Dooku as a prospective Sith. Unsurprisingly, this doesn’t go well, as her being betrayed leads her to take up a new profession: bounty hunting. Though she’s most recognized for her villainous Sith-like ways, Ventress makes for a formidable bounty hunter all the same, her unique skill set helping her stand out. A breakout character from “The Clone Wars” TV show, Ventress ultimately undergoes one of the more drastic character transformations in all of “Star Wars.”
#6: Bossk
Full name Bossk’wassak’Cradossk, Bossk is another of the original bounty hunters to appear in “Empire Strikes Back.” Trandoshan and thus lizard-like in appearance, Bossk has the unique ability to regenerate lost limbs, making him even more difficult to kill. While not usually front and center, Bossk has been a perennial presence in the bounty hunting world, be it during the Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War. Also serving as a mentor to a young Boba Fett, Bossk has reveled in his hatred for Wookies, particularly our favorite fur boy, Chewbacca. Though he obviously hasn’t been successful in killing him, we love seeing Bossk’s exploits every time he makes an appearance.
#5: Fennec Shand
Another bounty hunter to rise in prominence in recent years, Fennec Shand made her debut in the hit live-action series “The Mandalorian.” Though she’s unceremoniously left for dead in her first appearance, she’s thankfully rescued and restored by the one and only Boba Fett. This would ordinarily put Shand in Boba’s debt, but the two form something more akin to a partnership. From there, Shand proves to be a formidable ally as she helps Boba not only claim the crime syndicate left behind by the late Jabba the Hutt - not to mention the corpulent Bib Fortuna - but also assists in various missions alongside the titular Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin.
#4: Jango Fett
Even though he’s not number one on our list, one could argue none of the entries have left a legacy quite like Jango Fett. Indeed, Jango allowed his DNA to be used as the template for all the clone troopers at the tail end of the Galactic Republic. If that’s not high praise, we don’t know what is. Furthermore, Jango is highly proficient in battle, utilizing a plethora of tools such as a jetpack to get the job done. Heck, he even manages to give the masterfully skilled Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi a run for his money. Of course, as previously mentioned, Jango ultimately loses his head at the hands of another Jedi, Mace Windu, orphaning his clone son Boba.
#3: Cad Bane

You’d be hard pressed to find a bounty hunter with a cooler design than Cad Bane. A Duros who looks like he comes straight out of a space Western with a wide brim hat and prone to chewing on toothpicks, Bane is as cold and unfeeling as bounty hunters get. While not particularly powerful, Bane is ultra dangerous all the same, incredibly shrewd and one of the quickest draws you’ll ever see. Always out for himself, Bane relishes in the thrill of the mission, enjoying the challenge of going up against Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. While best known on the animated side of things, Cad Bane made an incredibly memorable live-action debut in “The Book of Boba Fett.”

The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin has catapulted to become one of the most popular “Star Wars” characters since the Disney acquisition in just a few short years. Though his Mandalorian armor has him resemble the Fetts that came before him, Mando distinguishes himself through his cool demeanor and absolutely thrilling adventures. Introduced as your average bounty hunter, his story takes a surprising turn when he comes into the care of a Force-sensitive foundling named Grogu. This character transition allows him to emotionally grow more than many on this list, making him as empathetic as he is badass.
