#10: Mizuho Kazami
“Please Teacher” (2002) A classic of the anime industry, this half alien – half human hybrid was sent to Earth to monitor our planet. Obviously, the best way to do that is to teach high school. While her curvy body leaves nothing to be desired, Mizuho’s defining feature is her smoking red hair. Combined with her likable and kind-hearted personality, Kazami-sensei is unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon.

“Rosario + Vampire” (2008) Only really appearing in a one-off episode, this seemingly innocent math teacher left an immediate impact. Ririko loves nothing more than to teach, even offering after-school lessons to her students in her private chambers. Things get kind of freaky from here. Dressed in an S&M Outfit, Ms. Ririko uses her lamia abilities to educate her students in exchange for their emotions…
#8: Akane Minagawa
“Scum’s Wish” (2017) This music teacher is well aware of how good looking she is. At school, Akane is insanely popular with teachers and students alike, mostly due to her clumsy and vulnerable persona – and her angelic features probably didn’t hurt either. Outside of class, this teacher is an entirely different person. She loves nothing more than to toy with men’s emotions, jumping from one partner to the next. She’s a terrible person but…c’mon.
#7: Hiratsuka Shizuka “My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU” (2013-15) Seldom caught without a cigarette in her mouth, this gorgeous guidance counselor is somehow still single. Besides being a complete knockout, this Japanese language teacher is friendly, responsible and never stops believing in Hachiman’s potential. While she’s a free spirit at heart, this lovable sensei is genuinely terrified she will never get married since she is older than 25. Apparently, that is kind of a deal breaker in Japan.
#6: Midnight
“My Hero Academia” (2016-) Whips are rarely ever needed as part of the school curriculum, but then again this is no normal school. Midnight is a veteran hero, who nowadays spends most of her time teaching the next generation at U.A. High. She’s flirtatious and knows how to use her appearance to get an advantage. The heroine’s scandalous nature blends perfectly with her superpower, as Midnight secrets a special aroma that puts her target to sleep.
#5: Aiho Yomikawa
“A Certain Magical Index” (2008-13) Maybe the green jersey is a size too small. Aiho is A Certain High School’s P.E. teacher and one of the better role models in the series. Tall and proportionally blessed – which seems to be the standard for anime teachers – Yomikawa comes across as approachable due to her messy ponytail and laid-back demeanor. When she’s not teaching a class, Yomikawa forms part of the anti-skill brigade, a security team who try to keep the city safe – now that’s above and beyond.
#4: Shura Kirigakure
“Blue Exorcist” (2011-17) A talented Exorcist; Shura’s attire of choice consists of a pink bikini, some black hot pants, and – when she is feeling particularly self-conscious – an unbuttoned jacket. Also working as an Inspector for the Vatican, Shura’s fiery personality is represented visually by her unkempt pink and yellow hair. First appearing as Yamada, a hooded young man with a love for gaming, the students got the surprise of their lives when Shura finally revealed herself – and so did we.
#3: Rossweisse
“High School DxD” Series (2012-) This silver haired vixen has done it all; Valkyrie, Devil…teacher? First introduced as Odin’s bodyguard, Rossweisse has more than proved herself a capable fighter - but, that apparently wasn’t enough for the old coot and she soon assumed the role of a humble school teacher. Given her wealth of knowledge, it did kinda seem like a natural fit though. She may be constantly teased for her lack of boyfriend, but if you ask us there ain’t a guy around that’s worthy of her.
#2: Irina Jelavic
“Assassination Classroom” (2015-16) Class 3-E is already pretty weird, you know with that whole assassination classroom stick, but things got a whole lot more complicated with the introduction of Irina. A professional hit-woman who fails to take out Korosensei, this stunning blonde somehow ends up becoming the English teacher. A master of seduction and poison, Irina is initially presented as a cruel and uncaring person, before she slowly begins to warm up to her students.

“Gurren Lagann” (2007) Other characters might have served as teachers for longer, but in terms of sexiness, this heroine is unmatched. Starting out as a gun-wielding bad-ass capable of fighting off the evil Gunmen; after the Beastman War, Yoko’s beauty increases tenfold. With the fate of the world not on the line, Yoko spends her time teaching young children under the pseudonym of Yomako. Ditching the trademark leather bikini and short-shorts, Yoko’s transition from badass to sensei is liquid smooth.
