VOICE OVER: Emily Brayton WRITTEN BY: Lindsay Haley
These Disney Channel Original Movie moments have great rewatch value. For this list, we'll be looking at some of the most unforgettable DCOM scenes that fans kept going back to. Our countdown includes "Halloweentown," "Jump In!," "Camp Rock," and more!

#10: Cromwell Magic “Halloweentown” (1998)

Although all four installments of the film series are must-sees, the original is a timeless classic. How could we ever forget the first time the Cromwell-Pipers banded together to save Halloweentown? When the town’s twisted mayor Kalabar threatened to upset the peace, he learned personally that he was no match for one family’s magic. This scene saw Gwen Piper embracing her witchery once more to school her demon ex. Meanwhile Gwen’s daughters Marnie and Sophie as well as her mother, Aggie Cromwell, all stepped up to fight evil. Even her son Dylan discovers his warlock powers. As soon as they defeated Kalabar, we knew we had a scene we’d want to rewatch every October.

#9: Warrior Training “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior” (2006)

London Tipton looked a little different when she popped up on our screens as Wendy Wu. After learning she was a reincarnated warrior destined to stop an evil spirit, Wendy began some serious training. In one pivotal scene, Wendy is taught battle moves by the souls of Chinese martial arts animals. They each comically borrow the bodies of a few of her school officials to train her .The intense maneuvers that Wendy learned were epically showcased when she used her training to take down the evil Yan-Lo . Her training and victory made for kick-ass entertainment and fierce girl empowerment. By the time the credits rolled, we contemplated signing up for martial arts classes.

#8: House Party “Smart House” (1999)

Top 10: House Party Movies

This DCOM might have given us slightly unrealistic hopes for the future of home technology. However, we’re willing to overlook that thanks to a particularly memorable dance sequence. While his dad is out for a date night, Ben takes full advantage of what his home’s virtual assistant, PAT, had to offer. He starts the night right by requesting some “kick-butt video screens'' for him and his friends to dance to. After they groove to ‘90s music video choreography, they have the party of our preteen dreams. There’s delicious food, lots of dancing and a satisfying kiss. Even Ben’s tormentor from school gets his comeuppance. This party is still a fun-filled serotonin boost that we will continue to attend.

#7: Double Dutch Battle “Jump In!” (2007)

Also in:

SPOILER ALERT!! Deadpool 2 Review ft Double Toasted! (Mojo @ The Movies)

We had already come to love Corbin Bleu as Chad in “High School Musical”. But he double-dutched his way further into our hearts as Izzy, a talented boxer turned respectable jump-roper. The boxer’s athletic prowess and impeccable footwork gave us high expectations for Izzy at the double dutch city finals. Fortunately, he did not disappoint. Izzy and his team of Hot Chili Steppers delivered an electrifying freestyle routine set to a ridiculously catchy song. The clever choreography and impressive athletic moves left our jawas on the floor. Although the team was absolutely robbed of first place, they were the big winners in our eyes after this routine. They undoubtedly made their mark as some of the best performers to show out on Disney Channel.

#6: Family Wizard “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie” (2009)

Top 10 Worst Disney Family Members

Every avid fan of the hit TV series“Wizards of Waverly Place” was highly anticipating the big 2009 movie. Throughout the series, it was hinted that only one of the Russo children would earn the title of family wizard. Fans got to see what the competition could look like during the big film. A winner-take-all contest to achieve full wizardry or lose powers for good saw Justin and Alex duke it out. However, it was Alex who narrowly snagged the victory. After regretting her triumph, she was luckily able to wish away the events that unfolded and turn back time. This particular contest may be an ordeal that the Russos might’ve been keen to forget. But we certainly don’t mind reliving this shocking showdown.

#5: The Drill Competition “Cadet Kelly” (2002)

Top 10 Disney Channel Movie Songs That Didn't Have to Go THAT Hard

If Cadet Kelly Collins didn’t inspire you to twirl batons in your living room, we don’t believe you. There was something so intriguing about watching the newbie military student learning how to chuck and spin guns with style from her adversary Captain Stone Before competing at the high-stakes regionals, the teammates had an intense and hilarious drill dance-off on campus,. (xref). The moment gave us a taste of just how spectacular the two foes could be if they worked together. Eventually, they proved us right when they joined forces to slay their unarmed routine. Packed with high energy and exciting dance moves, the fresh take on a drill performance captivates us every time.

#4: Rotten to the Core “Descendants” (2015)

Top 10 Good Animated Movies With Bad Rotten Tomatoes Scores

The concept for this newer DCOM features the descendants of villains we loved to hate from Disney movies past. While the story alone is compelling enough to grab our attention, the musical moments make the film that much more memorable. One of the best sequences came when the devious teenagers stirred up a little trouble while singing and dancing to “Rotten to the Core”. The lyrics, hard-hitting choreography, and convincing acting solidified this scene as one we could watch again and again. Making the moment even more special is the performance of the late Cameron Boyce as Carlos. His star quality and talent never failed to put a smile on our faces.

#3: Final Jam “Camp Rock” (2008)

Top 10 Barbie Movie Scenes That Didn't Make the Final Cut

In their breakout DCOM debut, Demi Lovato’s Mitchie worked up the confidence to proudly belt “This Is Me” at Camp Rock’s Final Jam. The powerful vocalist could have delivered an amazing performance alone. However, we weren't mad when a Jonas Brother made the song into a duet. After Joe Jonas’ Shane joined Mitchie to finish the show strong, we couldn’t have cheered harder for the uber talented duo. The film’s sequel also produced famous rewatchable moments like the viral “Camp Rock!” chant that will never not make us laugh. But we had to pay respect to the first film for ending the movie on a really sweet note.

#2: Cheetah Sisters “The Cheetah Girls” (2003)

Disney Channel created something special when they introduced four super talented, super stylish girls known worldwide as The Cheetah Girls. Pretty much every performance put on by the girl group is top-tier. But we will always look back on “Cheetah Sisters” as one of the best. In matching sweatsuits that scream 2000s, the girls set their band issues aside to sing the iconic song. And the group’s infectious energy didn’t stop there. They graced our screens performing another hit, “Strut”, in the movie’s sequel. That song had us pretending like we were superstars killing it in Barcelona. If there’s one thing you can count on from the Cheetahs, it's songs that are fun, fierce, and of course, cheetahlicious. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Zoom Zoom Zoom, “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century” (1999) It’s a Sincerely Stellar Number! Beach Argument, “The Even Stevens Movie” (2003) The Funny Family Has a Hilarious Argument in Front of Hidden Cameras Carter & The Princess Grow Closer, “Princess Protection Program” (2009) Polar Opposites Bonding? Cue the Montage Music! “Determinate”, “Lemonade Mouth” (2011) A Satisfying Performance That Still Leaves us Us SHOOK Final Kicks, “Gotta Kick It Up!” (2002) The Resilient Dance Troupe Knew They Could Impress. Sí se puede!

#1: Karaoke Night “High School Musical” (2006)

Top 10 Best Disney Karaoke Songs

“High School Musical” features many rewatchable moments. We love revisiting “Get’cha Head In the Game” for the basketball choreography. And after the cast went through the ups and downs of high school musicals, it was great to watch them unite for “We’re All In This Together.” But the first Troy and Gabriella duet still reigns supreme. A chance karaoke encounter on New Year’s Eve set the stage for an iconic encounter between the future couple. As soon as they harmonized, we were invested in their romance and the franchise. To this day, we know every single word of the musical number that started it all. The start of something new? Indeed it was.
