We'd love to be invited to these movie bachelorette parties. For this list, we'll be looking at the best pre-wedding bashes from films. Our countdown includes "Bride Wars," "Bridesmaids," "Crazy Rich Asians," and more!

Top 10 Most Underrated Dance Scenes in Modern Movie Musicals

They say you should never marry somebody you wouldn’t want to be divorced from. The same goes for best friends. In “Bride Wars,” two ex-besties do their utmost to ruin each other’s weddings, armed with the insider knowledge that years of friendship has given them. In a bid to show Olivia up, Emma crashes her bachelorette party. Liv has taken over a club with a catwalk-style stage and strippers. The drinks are flowing, but the party really arrives with Emma, who puts on a show. The following dance-off is a painful experience for the bride-to-be, but it gives the guests some excitement.

#9: Amy’s Golf-Themed Hen Do “The Wedding Date” (2005)

In this fake-dating rom-com, Debra Messing’s character Kat travels to England to attend her sister Amy’s wedding. With no time to find a real date, she brings along Dermot Mulroney’s Nick, an escort. Inhabiting the role of the perfect boyfriend, he even makes an appearance at the hen do. And the girls definitely would have kept him there if they could. The pub-based hen is complete with golf-themed attire, a limo and, of course, shots. It’s nothing flashy, but it’s fun. No one’s there for the drama, they all seem to be getting along and having a good laugh.

#8: Margaret’s Impromptu Bachelorette “The Proposal” (2009)

For every wild Vegas party, there’s a bride out there having a regular bachelorette. Maybe just a night out with the girls, including all the oldies. There might be a veil, and possibly a bad stripper. Everyone’s still going to have a great time. “The Proposal” celebrates the traditional bachelorette in a hilarious scene at a bar. Andrew’s mom and grandma take Margaret out to celebrate and show off Ramone, a local celebrity stripper. Margaret is clearly a little uncomfortable, but the comical vibes are impeccable. Who wouldn’t want Betty White at their bachelorette?

#7: Maddie’s ‘80s Themed Italian Night Out “Walking on Sunshine” (2014)

Weddings abroad combine great weather with stunning locations. In “Walking on Sunshine” Maddie meets her groom in sunny Italy and her friends and family travel out for the festivities. And on the evening before the wedding, the ladies dress up in their best eighties style for a night out on the town. What could be more appropriate for this jukebox musical? Singing along to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” the bride and her friends do just that. It’s hard not to smile when you watch them dancing, enjoying each other’s company, and having the time of their lives!

#6: Candace’s Las Vegas Bachelorette Party “Think Like a Man Too” (2014)

The sequel to “Think Like a Man” takes our ensemble cast to Vegas for Candace and Michael’s wedding. Although the mother of the groom, Loretta, tries her best to control the bachelorette planning, the girls finally manage to outmaneuver her. Using Candace’s uncle Eddie as a welcome distraction, the ladies ultimately escape to a club. But it’s only when the DJ throws on some nostalgic nineties tunes that the party really starts. The relatability of that moment - when their song comes on and they break out into dance - can’t be beaten. Their excitement is infectious, and the scene turns into a full on music video.

#5: Marriage Has Come to Town “Bride and Prejudice” (2004)

Indian Weddings are typically big and colorful, with lots of dancing! In Amritsar, where “Bride and Prejudice” is set, a local girl’s upcoming nuptials give everyone a reason to celebrate. One morning before the ceremony, the bride takes a walk with her two best friends. It’s not a bachelorette party as such, but it’s one of the last times the three girls will be together like this as a group. After this, their friend will get married, move, and start her new life. The whole town is excited. As the girls walk through the streets, there’s dancing, singing and congratulations for the bride, making it a moment to remember.

#4: Lillian’s French Themed Bridal Shower “Bridesmaids” (2011)

There are definitely moments from Lillian’s pre-wedding celebrations that you wouldn’t want to be a part of, but that bridal shower was lovely. After the disastrous shopping expedition and failed Vegas trip, Helen Harris assumes maid of honor Annie Walker’s planning duties. Helen may be annoying, but she knows how to throw a bridal shower. The party is held in a beautiful location with a French theme running throughout. From the invitations to the party favors, everything is beautifully put together and meticulously planned. Sure, as Annie points out, it’s a lot. And it doesn’t exactly end well. But when there are puppies, who’s going to complain?

#3: Mia’s Mattress Surfing Sleepover “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement” (2004)

Why is there a giant slide in the Genovian palace? It makes no sense, but really, who cares? Because Princess Mia’s bachelorette is everything. This pajama party may not be wild in the traditional bachelorette sense, considering the bride invited loads of young princesses. But it’s wonderfully unique. There’s a bit of roller-skating going on, but the big event is mattress surfing down the infamous slide. If you’re brave enough, you can even stand up and “fly.” Later there’s a talent show, with performances by Julie Andrews and Raven’s characters. Even the maids get to enjoy themselves. The whole party is innocent, playful fun from beginning to end.

#2: Araminta’s Island Shopping & Spa Day Extravaganza “Crazy Rich Asians” (2018)

Rachel Chu had no idea her boyfriend Nick was part of a wealthy family when she came to Singapore with him for a wedding. But she soon finds out. Colin and Araminta’s ceremony involves a majestic watery aisle, and the reception is a Gatsby-esque extravaganza. But it’s Araminta’s bachelorette that first alerts Rachel to the real scale of this thing. The bride takes a host of female friends on an all-expenses paid trip to a Sumatran resort that her mother owns. There’s a shopping spree, luxury spa treatments, and dancing on the beach. Araminta definitely didn’t hold back, and the result was an opulent getaway.

#1: Sophie’s Greek Island Party “Mamma Mia!” (2008)

Sophie’s bachelorette party has everything you could possibly ask for. There’s dancing, drinking, a beautiful location, drama, gorgeous guys, and family entertainment. Hosted at her mom’s hotel on a beautiful Greek Island, all her friends are there to get the party started. Donna and the Dynamos even get back together for a special tribute to the bride. We would’ve given anything to see that performance live! Then, just when we think the fun is ending, the boys crash. Swinging onto the scene, Sky and his bachelor party join the girls to dance the night away. Sophie might not get married, but her bachelorette was the stuff dreams are made of.
