For this list, we’re taking a look at the most unexpected and shocking breakups between YouTubers.

#10: Ingrid Nilsen & Hannah Hart

Shortly after coming out, Ingrid Nilsen announced that she and fellow YouTuber Hannah Hart were an item; and the entire internet cheered in unison! Both of these talented young women were known for their bubbly personalities and genuine humor, so the idea of them making videos together was a match made in heaven. Unfortunately for fans, Hangrid didn’t stay together for very long, calling it quits just four months after they announced their courtship. Both appear to have moved on, but at least we’ll always have their “My Drunk Kitchen” videos to look back on!

#9: Jaclyn Hill & Jon Hill

We need to preface this entry by admitting that yes, Jon Hill was not “officially” a YouTuber in the traditional sense. However, he appeared in so many of his wife’s videos he may as well have had his own channel. Fans couldn’t get enough of this couple, especially the time Jon did Jaclyn’s makeup and it was actually half decent! The interplay between the two of them was always hilarious; and made for must-watch entertainment. Sadly, Jaclyn and Jon filed for divorce in 2018, effectively putting an end to their almost nine-year marriage. Fans can hear the entire story in Jaclyn’s impassioned YouTube video “Jaclyn Hill explains her divorce”.

#8: Alissa Violet & Jake Paul

Drama seems to follow YouTube sensation Jake Paul wherever he goes. And his relationship with fellow YouTuber Alissa Violet was steeped in it. Both Alissa and Jake claimed that the other cheated and entered into a war of words via their various social media accounts. Some of the deepest cuts included Alissa claiming Jake was bringing “girl after girl over every single night” and Jake taking to Twitter to announce that Alissa cheated on him with someone he was close with. Both YouTubers put out diss tracks, which only added fuel to the fire. This wouldn’t be the last time Jake had it out with a fellow YouTube girlfriend, as just a short time later he was at it again with Erika Costell.

Unfortunately, they broke up in 2014, with the channel renamed and taken over by Kalel shortly after. While they promised fans they’d remain friends, it was not to be; and in months and years following their breakup they engaged in all manner of ex-related drama.
