VOICE OVER: Rebecca Brayton WRITTEN BY: Callum Janes
These characters are crazy powerful! For this list, we'll be looking at the strongest and most impressive Eternals from Marvel Comics! Our countdown includes Interloper, Ajak, Kronos, and more!

#10: Interloper

Imagine a man as massive as the Hulk but also has mind powers! Once one of the Eternals of Earth, Betilakk the Interloper was instrumental in defeating the Dragon of the Moon during medieval times before becoming a hermit. After discovering that the dragon had returned, Interloper teamed up with Manslaughter and The Defenders to defeat it once more. During his brief appearance in comics, we saw that he possessed the typical Eternal superpowers, including super-strength, stamina, agility, flight, and immortality. But what set him apart from other Eternals were his psionic capabilities. It’s debated whether he can create illusions or manipulate atoms, but regardless he’s proven to be a mighty member of the Eternals race.

#9: Grom / The Over-Mind

The Eternals of Eyung may have eternal life, but that did not mean lasting peace. And it was these endless wars that created Grom. After the planet of Eyung’s warmongering came back to bite them, their race faced total extinction. Eyung’s leader sacrificed the surviving population, their brain-power harnessed and transferred into the Champion of Champions: Grom. This turned him into the Over-Mind, an already powerful eternal possessing the collective psionic power of billions, hell-bent on avenging his people by destroying the universe. He posses mind control, psionic enhanced strength, psychokinetic blasts, and even slight precognition. At full power, Over-Mind would prove a real challenge to anyone who crosses him.

#8: The Forgotten One / Gilgamesh

Top 20 Most Powerful Movie Characters of All Time

Gilgamesh was created 1 million years ago but did not know he was an Eternal. He used his abilities to quest for eternal life and aid humanity, often mistaken as other heroes such as Samson and Hercules. But once he learned of his heritage, Zuras, the leader of the Eternals, locked Gilgamesh away. When Sprite called on him, he returned to Earth and showed what he was truly capable of. While he might not have any additional abilities to his typical Eternal powerset, his strength, stamina, and martial arts skills far surpass his brethren. Having fought alongside some of Marvel’s strongest, The Forgotten One is a hero readers would remember meeting.

#7: Sersi

Do you think the Scarlet Witch is powerful? Meet Sersi, the “witch” of the Eternals. This magical Eternal possesses the same base abilities as her counterpart, with one unique difference: molecular manipulation. She can create illusions, teleport, use telekinesis, transmute nearly anything she feels like, and be fiercely intelligent. She’s practically immortal, thanks to the protection cosmic energy gives her. However, this doesn’t make her any less vulnerable to her mental state, as she went insane at one point, causing immense destruction. As long as she is in the right state of mind, she’s a force to be reckoned with, and you'll be glad to have on your side.

#6: Makkari

Want to see Makkari run to that hill and back again?.... Want to see him do it again? Part of the Eternals engineering guild, Makkari is a fountain of knowledge. He created high-speed vehicles, taught the Egyptians how to write, even allegedly taught a young Elvis Presley some guitar tricks! But if we’re talking powers, the apparent unique ability with this hero is his incredible superhuman speed. He trained himself so hard that his other standard abilities became weak compared to other Eternals. In the upcoming film adaptation, the character has been gender-flipped to female and is one of the first deaf MCU heroes! They’re a fun character that we look forward to seeing more of!

#5: Thena

If there was an Eternal that embodied the definition of “badass,” it’s Thena. While her rocky relationships have marked her, those relationships have also shaped her into a skillful fighter. She can manipulate matter just like Sersi, but focuses more on weaponizing her cosmic energy. It’s this ability to form weapons made from thin air that defines her character’s powerset, as she uses the ambient energy of the universe to enhance pretty much anything she does. So while she might not be the most physically powerful, she is one of the greatest warriors the Celestials have ever created.

#4: Ikaris

By far, one of the most popular in the Eternals lineup is the “Guardian of Humanity.” His distinctive trait is his ability to absorb far more cosmic energy than his cousins. This allows him to fire beams from his eyes, project powerful concussive blasts and even raise his temperature so high he can melt iron! Having been submerged in lava and lived, this Superman-esque Eternal is also one of the hardest to kick to the dirt! Ikaris has gone toe to toe with the Silver Surfer, Apocalypse, Thanos, and many more of the most powerful villains in Marvel’s comic gallery. After defeating Thena, he became the Prime Eternal and certainly has the power to live up to the name.

#3: Ajak

Worshipped as a god by the Incas, Ajak is a terrifying force, considered the most powerful warrior in the history of the Eternals. The unique thing about Ajak is their near mastery of molecular control, granting them energy blasting abilities, superhuman strength, durability, and speed powerful enough to match the God of Thunder: Thor. What’s dangerous about them is their pride, as they have self-titled themselves as “Speaker to Celestials.”. Anyone who undermines this role might get murdered, even if it’s an Eternal. Ajak is also premiering in the MCU’s Eternals, being played by Salma Hayek.

#2: Thanos

Gorr vs Thanos

Yes, if you had just watched the MCU, you might not have been aware that Thanos isn’t just a native of Titan, but also an Eternal. But the worst kind. The Eternals have long fought the unstable “Deviants”, and the Mad Titan is a genetic hybrid of both races. On top of being born with the latent superhuman abilities of his ancestors including agility, stamina, energy manipulation and durability, he’s enhanced his strength to god-like levels. Coupled with his mighty intellect and unstable personality, Thanos is one of the most dangerous foes the Marvel universe has ever faced. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Zuras Leader of the Eternals and First to Activate the Uni-Mind Sprite This Child-Like Trickster Packs Some Hefty Transmuting Powers Thane The Inhuman Son of Thanos Holds Power He Can’t Always Control Druig An Eternal That Can Mind Control You While Beating You to a Pulp

#1: Kronos

Having ruled the Eternals alongside his brother Uranos, it’s widely accepted that Kronos is the most powerful Eternal ever to exist. Long ago, he battled his brother so that humanity could have peace and won thanks to his insane intellect. But after a laboratory accident destroyed his physical body, he became one with the universe itself. As a result, Kronos is practically a god, with the ability to control the souls of the deceased, create matter and even alter the flow of time! Thanos compared his power to the likes of Zeus, Odin, and Galactus.
