In this episode of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Squidward attempts to conceal his love for Krabby Patties. When his co-worker catches him in the act, though, SpongeBob makes a hilarious expression that perfectly sums up the sentiment of learning a juicy secret. This image alone pretty much encompasses everything that needs to be said. Nobody does a better job at making this face than SpongeBob, expect for maybe President Obama or George Takei.

Even from its first episode, “Archer” was providing unforgettable quotes that were destined to take the Internet by storm. In this scene, Archer fails to get on Lana’s good side as she knocks his complementary box of doughnuts to the floor. In retaliation, the offended spy asks a smartass question that would be echoed by his mother Malory later on – and which would then ignite a million memes. Many people draw inspiration from this quote whenever they want to send out a warning on social media. Although these memes come off as sarcastic, that doesn’t mean there isn’t any truth to them.

Whenever tragedy or a minor inconvenience strikes, it’s easy for us to blame somebody we despise, even when he or she had nothing to do with it. As far as Timmy Turner’s dad is concerned, all of the misery in his life stems from Dinkleberg. The Internet has also made a practice of blaming all their problems on the Turners’ next-door neighbor. As it’s among the most quotable TV comedies of all time, “The Simpsons” has inspired one memorable meme after another. While Kent Brockman's “And I, For One, Welcome Our New Insect Overlords” meme came close to making this list, it couldn’t quite top the always welcome disappearing Homer. Derived from a scene that’s as funny as it is disturbing, this GIF has seen Homer back up into everything, froma litter of kittens to Michael Bolton. However, we were always certain that our number one spot would ultimately go to Fry’s iconic “Not Sure If…” expression. This still shot of Fry in deep contemplation is so simple, but has made leeway for numerous memes. Naturally, the meme is used to demonstrate somebody at a crossroads who is unable to tell the difference between two things. One thing is for sure, though: this is greatest cartoon meme ever.
