Well, there's no question about it. Their music gives us the moves like Jagger. Welcome to Watchmojo.com, and today we're counting down our list for the top 10 Maroon 5 songs. For this list, we’ve chosen our entries based on a combination of the artist’s fan favorites and their most commercially successful songs. The song must also be from a major commercial release, so no live performances or B-sides.

#10: "Maps" V (2014)

Released in June, this song was one of this year's summer hits. Peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching well over a million copies in sales, “Maps” proved to be another huge success. With its danceable melody, this song continued Maroon 5's trajectory into pop super-stardom. Levine's trademark vocals blister throughout the track, which features an up-tempo beat and smooth guitar licks. Bigger now than they arguably ever have been, this song had us dancing and singing along all summer long.

#9: "Payphone" feat. Wiz Khalifa Overexposed (2012)

Following in vein, “Payphone” is another Maroon 5 foray into pure pop music, but damn if it's not catchy. With lyrics discussing a lost love, it's fairly typical pop fare, but Levine's heartbroken vocals and danceable melody elevate it to something more. Debuting at #1 on the Hot Digital Songs chart, it became the best sales week ever for a digital song by a group, proving that the track definitely made an impact. Spending almost five months in the top ten, Payphone grabbed both our hearts and our dancing shoes.

#8: "Harder to Breathe" Songs About Jane (2002)

Released as their first single off their first major record release, this rock track introduced the world to Maroon 5, and what an introduction it was. Written by frontman Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael, it tells a true story of one of Levine's previous relationships. A hard rocker, this jam is one of Maroon 5's heaviest, with blistering guitars and vocals. Reaching #18 on the Hot 100 and receiving gold certification, it was a huge success for a first single, and a great introduction to the band.

#7: "Sunday Morning" Songs About Jane (2004)

From the same album, although considerably slower in tempo, this song is a more optimistic one about love and companionship. Released as the fourth single from their first album, it peaked at #4 on the Adult Top 40 and eventually went gold. With some beautiful lyrics penned by Levine and his soulful vocal performance, this song proves to be one of the band's most heartfelt and personal, showing that they can be more than just a great band to dance to.

#6: "Misery" Hands All Over (2010)

Released as the first single from their third studio album, “Misery” proved a critical and commercial success. Detailing the deterioration of a once loving relationship, Levine sings his way through one heck of a catchy chorus, complete with his trademark vocal style. Working with legendary producer Mutt Lange, “Misery” allowed Maroon 5 to accomplish what one critic called "pop perfection”. The hit single also reached #1 on the Adult Top 40 chart and went platinum, proving audiences as well as critics loved this up-tempo pop song.

#5: "One More Night" Overexposed (2012)

An impressive feat by an impressive pop band.

At the time, the song had the biggest jump in Billboard Hot 100 history, going from #64 straight to #1. Since becoming the band’s first Hot 100 chart topper, it has sold nearly three million copies in the US alone. This dance-rock tune also scored the band a Grammy for Best Pop Performance. A critical and commercial success, “Makes Me Wonder” proved Maroon 5 wasn't going anywhere and would not succumb to the sophomore slump.

With beautiful lyrics relating the story of a man who loves an unappreciative woman, this track tugged at critics and the public's heartstrings. It was so soft, in fact, that many alternative rock stations pulled it from their line-up. Peaking at #5 on the Hot 100 and going platinum in the US, Canada, and Australia, this song proved Maroon 5 could be taken seriously in both the alt-rock and pop world.
