Even through her tears, she manages to get plenty of laughs as she describes a white lie her father told to get her out of school so she could attend the Charlie Chaplin Film Festival. Everyone feels a little bit like Tanya sometimes. Well, if you don’t, we certainly envy you! What makes her character so enthralling is the balance she strikes between zaniness and raw emotion. She opens up to her new confidante Belinda about her insecurities in dating, fearing that her crush Greg will run once he learns who she really is. But her monologue actually coming clean to Greg about her unstable tendencies is just too funny and rewatchable not to take the cake! We hate to see her self-sabotage, but we love to see her embrace her true– albeit, “crazy”– self!
