When it comes to video game Easter eggs you can’t get any more literal than the Easter Egg Room. Located close to the Vice City News station, the entrance to this room is pretty much invisible. It is possible to access this room by jumping from the corner of the station’s helipad into a certain section of the neighbouring building. By jumping into the correct spot, the player will pass through a tangible wall and enter the Easter Egg Room where they will find a pedestal featuring a giant chocolate Easter Egg with “Happy Easter” carved into it. The room also makes a cameo appearance exclusively in the PS2 version of Vice City Stories, a prequel to Vice City, although it appears as an incomplete version still under construction.

Exploring hidden locations is one of the best things about an open world game. However, it’s possible that finding some locations can have real world consequences. The developer room from Fallout 76 is a prime example of this. Unlike the developer room from Fallout 4 which requires console commands to enter, the one from Fallout 76 was never meant to be accessible due to it being an online multiplayer game. Any player that manages to access this room not only gets to meet Wooby, the game's only NPC, they can also access every blueprint in the game, as well as content not yet released by Bethesda Studios. While it may sound like a hidden treasure trove, Bethesda has gone to great lengths to prevent people from accessing it by suspending the accounts of players that have committed this taboo.

Unlike most hidden areas, the moment the player sets foot on the island, a challenge will be issued and the player will be stripped of all their equipment. To get it back, the player must complete the island’s challenge and find three special orbs which they must then take to certain parts of the island, while also avoiding attacks from monsters as much as possible. While this island may sound a bit challenging for players that rely too much on their equipment and weapons, it provides an interesting experience and is worth exploring.
