Top 10 Games So Bad They're Good Some people like good games. Some people like great games. But everyone loves a good bad game. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we'll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Games So Bad They're Good. For this list, we will be looking at games that aren't usually held in a positive light but are somehow still enjoyable. This could be because it's full of entertaining glitches, or because the poor quality adds a certain comedic value to the experience.

#10: "Hard Time" (2007)

Top 10 Games with the Hardest Hard Modes

It's time for you to enter a prison like no other. One that is filled with weapons, bombs and hundreds of prisoners that look like little potato men. Hard Time is a disastrous work of art. You come for the crimes, but you stay for the broomstick beatdowns. In a game that is filled with randomness, it's truly like no other... Apart from all of the other games by Mat Dickie. They're all pretty similar, but sometimes the insanity takes place in a wrestling ring and other times, it's in The Bible.

#9: "Total Overdose" (2005)

Top 10 Total Rip-Off Games On Steam

This game hasn't aged well. In a year that saw major technological advances for the gaming industry, it's clear to see why this game has been forgotten. The game is packed to the brim with cheesy storytelling and awesome slow-motion diving that makes it somewhat enjoyable. The game lets you roam freely - however, there isn't much to do besides the missions. A poor experience if you want in-depth and interesting storytelling, but if you just want to dive around and shoot things, then you might enjoy this diamond in the rough.

#8: "Ride to Hell: Retribution" (2013)

This is a game that seems to be stuck in-between being a gritty biker drama and a school play. It's hard to avoid the poor voice acting. If you try playing this game for the plot, it's unlikely that you'll have a good time. However, if you are just playing for the hilariously quirky and fun gameplay, then you may find it enjoyable. With similar driving mechanics to that of Road Rash as well as fighting and third-person shooter elements, the game certainly tries different things. This certainly helps you to ignore the embarrassingly cheesy story.

#7: "Harvester" (1996)

A point and click adventure that couldn't be more 1990s if it tried. Of a genre in its golden age with titles such as Monkey Island and Grim Fandango, it's clear to see why this game has been forgotten by many. If you need an example of how to have an awkward conversation, this would be it. But that’s why it's great. The game is enjoyable because it fails to be dramatic and scary. It's clear that an effort was made. The game is great, but also terrible. Isn't that right, ladies?

#6: "Shaq-Fu" (1994)

Famous sports figures are often put on the covers of their respective video games each year. However, they aren't Shaquille O'Neal. He has had rap albums, movies, but most importantly, a video game that features him beating up evil sorcerers. What is possibly better than that? The game itself isn't bad, however, the premise of the game as a whole is questionable. It takes serious dedication to come up with such a quirky idea. The game was never forgotten though and through the power of the internet, it gained a cult following which even funded an upcoming sequel!

#5: "Vroom in the Night Sky" (2017)

If you've ever wondered why no one’s tried to recreate Superman 64 in this day and age, this game is for you. However, instead of a man wearing a cape flying through rings, it's a magical girl that rides a motorcycle flying through rings! This is not the best part of this game. Instead, that comes down to the hilariously poor dialogue. It almost seems like the developers just translated the Japanese text to English through Google without checking and then releasing it to the world. With masterful lines such as "Is here a camel there?" And "The Magical Gate is opened!", it provides countless laughs.

#4: "The Legend of Zelda" CD-I Trilogy (1993-94)

Also in:

10 Games To Play If You LOVE The Legend of Zelda

The unholy triforce of Zelda games. Released through a deal made between Nintendo and Phillips, the titles were all hilariously terrible point and click messes. Each game featured a blend of uninspiring puzzles and poorly animated movies to progress the story. Many of these movies were catalysts for the massive popularity of "Youtube Poop" videos in the mid-2000s. The dialogue in these videos are what makes them so funny. With lines such as "I wonder what's for dinner." And "You must die.", it becomes so easy for the player to get distracted from the poor gameplay.

#3: "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties" (1993)

This game isn't really bad, because it isn't really a game - it's more of a Powerpoint Presentation. The premise of the game is to sit and look at poor quality images while listening to uninspired voice actors talk the player through a story. Described as an “adult-oriented romantic comedy," there's something about the weirdness of it all that makes it absolutely hilarious. Everything about this game seems off. But it leaves you with an experience that you can't get with any other game - which might be for good reason.

#2: "The Zoo Race" (2007)

Also in:

Top 10 Games That Aren't As Good As You Remember Them! Deconstructed

This game is hard to specify because it just seems so random, though it claims to be based on Noah's Ark. The task of the player is to race other animals to get to Noah while avoiding loads of obstacles. But it's unclear why. The main plot even has a cutscene where people randomly turn into animals, for some reason? Everything about this game is hilarious. From the strange animal models to the fireworks party. It's a barrel of laughs that can be played over and over again without getting boring.

#1: "Deadly Premonition" (2010)

Also in:

Top 10 Deadly Minecraft Mobs

If Twin Peaks had a comedically awkward video game, this would be it. Never has it been so hard to tell if the game takes itself too seriously, or if it's trying to laugh at itself at every chance. This game is packed to the brim with stupidly funny cutscenes and dialogue that can be replayed constantly without losing its humor. Some are down to interesting choices of sounds, or music However, others just come down to crazy dialogue. Many people debate whether it's good or bad. But you can't deny the constant humor.
