No one likes to be a loser, even if he or she is a celebrity. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 celebrity sore losers. For this list, we’ve chosen celebrities who lost and didn't let it go quietly. We’re only including incidents where the celebrity was upset at his or her own loss, not someone else’s - we’re looking at you, Kanye - and we’re barring those who pretended to be angry as well. Also, we’re not including sore losers at the Oscars because, quite frankly, that would be too easy.

#10: Bill Belichick

Also in:

Bill Cosby Biography: 'I Spy' to 'The Cosby Show'

Bill Belichick coached the New England Patriots to a 16-0 record during the 2007 regular season, a feat that hadn’t been accomplished since the 1978 expansion of the game schedule. They continued their streak by winning their first two playoff games, and entered Super Bowl XLII (42) with the hope of posting a perfect season. The New York Giants ruined that dream in one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history. At the end of the game, instead of congratulating the opposing coach and players, Belichick left the field as quickly as possible, displaying an egregious lack of sportsmanship.

#9: Milan Lucic

After a tough NHL Eastern Conference semi-final that saw the Boston Bruins lose to the Montreal Canadiens in 2014, Bruins star Milan Lucic took exception to the conduct of some Habs players. Nobody would’ve batted an eye if Lucic confronted them during the game, but during the handshake line is another story. Lucic could be seen mouthing threats and expletives to multiple players, while his teammates graciously congratulated the Habs. He not only violated tradition but also garnered derision from hockey fans. Maybe he learned sportsmanship from ex-teammate Tuukka Rask...

#8: Ella Henderson

British recording artist and X-Factor favorite Ella Henderson was nominated in two categories at the 2015 BRIT Awards, but won neither of the awards. After Paloma Faith officially slammed the door on her chances by winning for British Female Solo Artist, the camera focused on Henderson, whose face showed pure resentment. She clapped for her contemporary, but the obligatory applause seemed to heighten the incredulous expression. Henderson later denied being upset, but the look on her face says otherwise.

#7: John McEnroe

Top 10 Times Emily Blunt & John Krasinski Made Us Believe In Love

John McEnroe is arguably more famous for his freakouts than he is for his actual career. The tennis star had dozens of sore loser moments, with the most notable one being his loss to Sergio Casal in the quarterfinals of the 1986 Paris Open. Always the victim of McEnroe’s tirades, the umpire got an earful after a match fraught with many dubious calls—at least that’s how McEnroe saw it. He pelted the official with insults, calling him pathetic and the worst umpire he’s ever seen. Johnny Mac even threatened to have the official banned from working matches that he competed in, though that never panned out.

#6: Taylor Swift

Also in:

Top 10 Celebrities Who Have Dissed Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has had numerous award show snafus—some her fault and some not. These include Kanye’s interruption at the 2009 VMAs, and her exasperated reaction after losing to Daft Punk at the 2014 Grammys. But worst of all is the footage of her reacting to Adele’s acceptance speech at the 2013 Golden Globes. Adele had just won the award for Best Original Song, beating Swift’s tune “Safe and Sound” for The Hunger Games soundtrack. Taylor tried hard to suppress her disappointment, but the camera caught her at an unfortunate moment, as her strange spiteful smile showed overwhelming disgust.

#5: Nick Diaz

Nick Diaz is no stranger to unsportsmanlike displays. The mixed martial artist does not have seem to have the word ‘gracious’ in his vocabulary, as every loss he experiences results in sour grapes. This was especially palpable after his loss to Carlos Condit at UFC 143 in 2012. He railed on everyone during the post-fight interview, reportedly saying that Condit used cheap tactics and the judges were wrong for declaring him the winner. He also stated that he would quit mixed martial arts. He didn’t quit, however, as he fought Georges St-Pierre the following year... and lost.

#4: Chris Brown

Also in:

Comedian Chris D'Elia on Impressions, Playing Drunk on TV

Chris Brown had a beef with Frank Ocean long before the 2013 Grammy Awards, and it culminated in a physical altercation in a recording studio parking lot. It remained unclear how their pissing contest started, but the severity of the feud was made clear on the public stage of the Grammys a month later. Both artists were nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album, but it was Ocean that emerged victorious. As he made his way to the stage, most audience members rose to applaud the win, except for Chris Brown, that is... oh and fellow nominee Miguel didn’t either, by the way.

#3: McKayla Maroney

Mckayla Maroney had a sensational Olympics performance in 2012. The 16-year-old gymnast won gold in the team vault event at the London Summer Olympic Games, and earned a silver medal in the solo competition. Maroney was none too pleased with the second place finish, however, as her peeved expression was captured in a photo that was widely distributed. The podium picture became a popular meme, and the sideways lip-purse was so recognizable that even Obama took a photo with the former artistic gymnast doing the expression.

#2: Ol’ Dirty Bastard

Also in:

Top 10 Celebrity Biographies, Autobiographies and Memoirs

Though this probably ranks as the 315th craziest thing that Ol’ Dirty Bastard had ever done, his Grammys hijack is the second most unsportsmanlike display we’ve ever seen. The 1998 awards not only saw ODB rush the stage and steal the mic to complain that Wu-Tang Clan should have won Best rap album over Puff Daddy; it also saw him do it during Shawn Colvin’s acceptance for an unrelated category! ODB’s main arguments were that Wu-Tang is for the children and that his outfit “costed” a lot of money. We’re not sure those are valid arguments. No honorable mentions this time around.

#1: Kanye West

Can this be a surprise? Kanye West has made it his party-trick to crash the stage at award ceremonies, and it was at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards that he started this embarrassing ritual. Years before his fiasco with Taylor Swift at the VMAs, Kanye rushed the stage during the best video presentation after losing the award to Justice and Simian. His gripes were just as unfounded as Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s, as he divulged the budget of his music video, and expounded on his unsubstantiated deservedness. Money can’t buy artistic ability, Kanye.
