Fortnite's cartoony graphics and zany characters have always allowed it to stand out among the battle royale genre. So it's no surprise that gamers love to customize their avatar with the large variety of skins Fortnite has to offer. From skins introduced during special events, to skins which were only available during earlier seasons, we count down our picks for the Top 10 Best Rare Fortnite Skins.

Top 10 Best RARE Fortnite Skins Our virtual lockers are turning into one heck of a wardrobe! Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today, we’re counting down our picks for the Top 10 Best Rare Fortnite Skins! For this list, we’re looking at some awesome “Fortnite” skins that aren’t easy to come by.

#10: Raven & Tomatohead

We simply couldn’t choose one skin over the other. Both of these skins have something unique about their design. For as dark and brooding as the Raven is, the glowing eyes and collar of feathers are a nice touch. As for Tomatohead, well… Come on, you can’t tell us you wouldn’t want to run around with a goofy-looking tomato face! These skins have only been uploaded to the Item Shop a couple of times, but if you’ve been saving your V-bucks, they’re worth holding out for.

#9: Dark Voyager

Its description reads “From the vast darkness of deep space”. We don’t know about you, but this looks like a being that comes from an alternate dimension. This awesome skin is simple, sleek, and well-suited for stealthy playstyles if that’s your thing. Unfortunately, you could only obtain this skin if you participated in Season Three and managed to reach Tier 70.

#8: Power Chord

This skin is incredibly hard to come by! The Power Chord outfit has only made its way into “Fortnite’s” Item Shop ONCE since the game’s launch. This 80’s punk rock cutie comes with some jamming accessories...albeit if you’re willing to spend some extra V-bucks since this skin is part of a rockin’ set, which includes the awesome Anarchy Axe harvesting tool and Stage Dive glider.

#7: Battle Hound

If you’re looking to release the hound inside you, the Battle Hound skin will do just that! The Battle Hound has only sparingly appeared in the Item Shop, and fans are clamoring for its return. Can you really blame them? The only thing it seems to be missing is the ability to let us howl. Hmm...maybe they can add something like that in a future update?

#6: The Reaper

Season Three was an awesome way to kick off 2018, and it launched with more content than the first two seasons. The Dark Voyager skin was cool and all, but the real prize was at the end of the road. Reaching Tier one hundred would reward you with a skin dubbed “the Reaper”. If it looks somewhat familiar, it’s because this skin was based off the 2014 action film, “John Wick”. The resemblance is striking, and seeing a Keanu Reeves look-alike run around the map is pretty intimidating.

#5: Holiday Skins

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a wide variety of holiday-themed skins? We really couldn’t settle on a single holiday skin because almost every one of them has something special. You got the Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper for Halloween, the Crackshot and Codename ELF for Christmas, the Love Ranger and Cuddle Team Leader for Valentine’s Day, and the Bunny Brawler and Rabbit Raider for Easter. Oh, and we can’t forget the Wukong skin for Chinese New Year!

#4: Blue Squire

Okay, now we’re going really far back, way back before “Fortnite” became the global phenomenon it is today! In hindsight, Season Two wasn’t as great as the seasons we’ve been seeing this year. However, earning the Blue Squire suit was like putting on a fresh coat of paint. It was easy to nab, too. All you had to do was purchase the Season Two Battle Pass and it was yours! But, that was a long time ago as far as Fortnite is concerned. So, if you see someone running around with this outfit, chances are they’ve been playing for a LONG, long time.

#3: Omega (Complete Set)

As cool as it was to engage in a season all about superheroes, Season Four was the most difficult season so far. It wasn’t enough to reach the final tier of the season 4 battle pass and nab the Omega skin. Completing the set for this skin would require players to tackle a whole other set of challenges! As time-consuming as this was, at least the full set made an already awesome skin look even better.

#2: Black Knight

While it has been some time since the Black Knight made his debut, we simply cannot get enough of how awesome his design is! The Black Knight is absolutely intimidating with his sinister red eyes and menacing stare. We’re hoping that’s some red paint on his chest, but we won’t be holding our breath… Unfortunately, this skin isn’t available for purchase. In order to obtain it, you must have reached Tier 70 during Season Two. That’s some tough luck, right there.

#1: Season 1 Skins

Now, on the surface, the Aerial Assault Trooper and Renegade Raider don’t look like much. We basically have a dude with a helmet and a homage to “Tank Girl”. However, these skins are special in the fact that they’re a part of “Fortnite’s” history. If this is the first time you’re seeing these, it’s because these skins are from the very first season, back before the game exploded. So, there aren’t too many players who have Aerial Assault Trooper or Renegade Raider. If you’re someone who does, then congrats! You have the equivalent of a special edition trading card...except you can’t sell them for V-bucks.
