Certain actors possess an uncanny resemblance to more established stars, making them perfect candidates to portray younger versions in biopics. From Jordan Fisher's striking likeness to Prince, to Zendaya's potential as a young Rihanna, these talented performers don't just look the part—they embody the charisma and essence that made their counterparts unforgettable. This list highlights actors like Ana de Armas channeling Sophia Loren, Millie Bobby Brown echoing Natalie Portman, and Jeremy Allen White's surprising similarity to Gene Wilder. Who else deserves a role as a younger version of a legendary actor? Let us know in the comments!

#10: Jordan Fisher as Prince

The Purple Rain musicians talent, charm, and infinite charisma are a tough act to follow. Multi-talented Broadway performer, actor, and singer Jordan Fisher looks a lot like Prince in his 80s movie stardom days. This resemblance is more than just physical, though. Once that biopic comes around, Fisher might not even need to lip sync to the artists original tracks. He could do it all himself. Hes got the confidence and swagger as well as the vocal chops. He can also sell different genres of music, boasting an impressive range of notes and styles, just as Prince did.

#9: Ana de Armas as Sophia Loren

The star of the original Knives Out wowed audiences when she recreated one iconic movie star. Ana de Armas earned an Oscar nomination for her turn as Marilyn Monroe in the controversial Blonde. She bears an even more striking resemblance to an Oscar winner. Sophia Loren is one of the most famous actresses of all time. Her work in movies like Marriage Italian Style and Two Women cemented her as the very image of sultry European beauty. De Armas smouldering screen persona would be an astonishingly good fit to recapture Loren in her cinematic heyday.

#8: Joey King as Drew Barrymore

With her recent talk show success and internet virality, theres renewed interest in former child star turned successful adult actress and presenter Drew Barrymore. Joey King is our pick to play her in a biopic. King not only looks like the host, but the two also got along like gangbusters on her talk show. Theres clearly a lot in common between them. Were not alone in that opinion. Barrymore herself agrees. Participating in a TikTok trend, she identified King as her choice to play her if a film version of her life ever comes to pass.

#7: Millie Bobby Brown as Natalie Portman

The Stranger Things breakout and the star of the Star Wars prequel trilogy share more than a passing resemblance. Natalie Portmans early life and career would make a great biopic, as she began her prolific film career at 12 years old. She and Millie Bobby Brown have frequently been named as celebrity doppelgängers. That resemblance has even been mined for comedy by Saturday Night Live of all places. And, it has to be said, theyre both world-class rappers. In 2018, Portman humbly downplayed their similarities, not wanting to horn in on Browns moment of stardom. Its been long enough that if there were a biopic around the corner, Brown would probably be a contender to star.

#6: Bill Skarsgård as Steve Buscemi

The acclaimed character actor from Fargo and Reservoir Dogs is known for playing offbeat characters. Steve Buscemis distinctive facial features make him one of the movies most recognizable actors. Meanwhile, Bill Skarsgård has recently made a run of embodying villainous monsters, but when hes not donning the monster makeup, the similarities are striking. Some online users even have a hard time believing theyre not related. Seeing the two side by side, its easy to see why. Skarsgård looks like the young Buscemi before he was a major star. If not a biopic, maybe a ghost story where a man is haunted by his younger self could make use of the resemblance.

#5: Lili Reinhart as Brittany Murphy

The mysterious, tragic, and premature death of the beloved Clueless star could be a movie all its own. Since her passing, Brittany Murphys talent has been appreciated for how unique it truly was. Few actors today have the combination of gifts she had. While a biopic would hopefully treat her life with care and respect, casting her should be a no-brainer. Riverdale actress Lili Reinharts wide, warm eyes and bone structure are uncannily similar to Brittany Murphys. Reinhart demonstrated an ability to balance that naturally vulnerable face with some real dramatic skill.

#4: Zendaya as Rihanna

Her rise from troubled childhood, to international pop star, to billion-dollar mogul is as good as anything Hollywood ever came up with. We need the story behind Rihannas upbringing, career, and business empire like yesterday. To play younger Rihanna, we have to go with Zendaya. Shes had massive success and more mature roles since her Disney days. Most importantly, she can sing and dance as well as any modern pop star. As Rihanna, shed be coming for that Oscar. Hopefully, shes not too traumatized by Tom Holland absolutely destroying that Umbrella lip sync.

#3: Halle Bailey as Beyoncé

Few actors could compare to the current reigning global superstar. Then again, few biopic actors would have as much of a masterclass in their subject as Halle Bailey. She and sister Chloe Bailey were mentored by Beyoncé herself. Like Beyoncé early in her career, Bailey recently parlayed her music career into one on the screen, starring as Ariel in the live-action Little Mermaid. Beyoncé's singular presence would indeed be hard to imitate, but Bailey is at the start of an iconic career of her own. With her growing star power, she would be the ideal candidate to play a younger version.

#2: Keke Palmer as Angela Bassett

Theyve already played mother and daughter in Akeelah and the Bee. Even then, Angela Bassett was highly impressed by Keke Palmers abilities, and the young actress was still a child. The easy chemistry between them is something that really cant be explained by just working together. There is such camaraderie that Palmer should be the easy pick to play Bassett in a biopic. Given what an incredible mimic she is, Palmers performance in an early-career biopic could give the same kind of uncanny power as Bassetts incredible work as Tina Turner. Palmers imitation of her has already earned Bassetts approval.

#1: Jeremy Allen White as Gene Wilder

This resemblance is so strong that the internet randomly decided the star of FXs The Bear was the grandson of Gene Wilder himself. Few movie stars had curls and piercing blue eyes like Wilder. So when Jeremy Allen White blew up in the aftermath of The Bear, it was like seeing lightning strike twice. More than the physical similarities, Wilder is a prime subject for a biopic. He frequently worked with fellow comedy giants Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor. His marriage to the late comedienne Gilda Radner could be a love story all its own. The only question that remains is, Who should play her?
