#3: Jared Leto Cast in New Sony Spider-Man Film Titled “Morbius”

Looks like Jared Leto is jumping from one comic book villain to another! After being the talk of the town for his method work as the Joker in DC’s Suicide Squad, the actor is taking his villainous talents to Sony and Marvel, where he’ll be playing Spider-Man’s foe, Morbius in a spin-off of the same name. Morbius, the living Vampire suffered from a serious and rare blood diseases as a child, which unfortunately contributed to his infamously scary and unpleasant appearance. Despite this, he became a Nobel Prize winning biochemist, but failed at an experiment intended to cure him. Instead it went horribly wrong, turning him into a vampire. Daniel Espinosa, who previously worked on movies Safe House and Life, will direct the project. No word yet on when the film is set to hit theatres.

What Will Spider-Man: Far From Home's Story Be About? – The CineFiles: Extended Cut

It may not have been the first look at latest installment in The Predator franchise, but it may be the best. Earlier this week, 20th Century Fox dropped the first official full-length trailer to The Predator, and it is funny, scary and violent. From director Shane Black, the story will take place between the events of Predator 2 and Predators, after a young boy, played by Jacob Tremblay accidentally triggers the Predators back to Earth. As the trailer shows, a small group of soldiers were tasked to investigate the reappearance of the Predators, but found more than they bargained for. The aliens have genetically modified their species from other extra-terrestrial DNA, and are now bigger, stronger and scarier. The film stars Sterling K. Brown, Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes and Keegan-Michael Key. The movie comes out September 14th. Before we get to our final entry, here are a couple new releases: “Sicario: Day of the Soldado” (2018) “Uncle Drew” (2018)

Tom Holland LEAKS News of Spider-Man: Homecoming TRILOGY – The CineFiles Ep. 25

You’re a cheeky one, Tom Holland! While attending Seattle’s Ace Comic-Con, the actor posted an Instagram video apologizing to fans that he unfortunately had no new announcements about Homecoming’s sequel. The Spider-Man actor mentioned how he was having a blast and meeting a bunch of fans, but couldn’t help but feel confused over the sequel’s story, since he, ahem, spoiler alert, dies in Infinity War. That said, he did mention how he just received the sequel’s script, and revealed an iPad with an image of the film’s title: Spider-Man: Far From Home. So, Tom! You really did have news for us. It may be safe to assume that it was all a PR stunt, as a few days later Sony Pictures officially confirmed that Far From Home was indeed the next installment’s title. Expect more information to be released before its release date of July 5, 2019.
