VOICE OVER: Phoebe de Jeu WRITTEN BY: Francesca LaMantia
These are the things we need to see on The 100 before it ends.
All good things must come to an end. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’ll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Things We Need To See On The 100 Before It Ends. For this list we’ll be looking at all those nagging questions that we want answered about the post-apocalyptic TV series before the end of the show with its seventh and final season.

#10: Closure on the Flame

Top 10 TV Shows That Gave Us Zero Closure

The Flame had been the Grounders' way of life for centuries, but when Gaia hid the flame and the death wave hit, they had to quickly adapt to a new way of life under Octavia’s rule after the final conclave. There was a short-lived return to the time of the Commanders with Madi, but as of the end of season 6, it seems that the flame is destroyed for good, and there is sure to be some fallout. If the flame is gone, are all past commanders now lost forever? What does this mean for Gaia? Her life’s purpose was guarding the flame and serving the Commander. Now that the time of the Commanders is over, she’ll have to find a new sense of purpose.

#9: Planet Beta

Also in:

Top 10 Things We Learned From Planet Earth

As it turns out, Sanctum was not the only planet that the Eligius crew scouted for colonization. In the final episodes of season six, it is teased that there might be another human colony on Planet Beta when the Primes talked about fleeing from the 100 and starting over. Could it be possible that the 100 and friends aren't the last of the human race after all? Since Sanctum is actually a moon, could Planet Beta be the planet that it orbits, or is it another century’s travel away? With the cryofreezing technology that they posses, could the 100 end up traveling to yet another planet? We need to know!

#8: Defeating Sheidheda

For a large portion of season six, the dark commander, known as Sheidheda, took over Madi's mind, shutting out all the other commanders in the flame. Just when it seemed that he was about to take over completely, Raven managed to disconnect him from the flame and upload him somewhere else, but she couldn't yet erase him for good. The question still remains then: where exactly did Sheidheda go? This new form he finds himself in, whatever that may be, will probably prove to be a new formidable villain for the 100. Hopefully, in the final season we will see his defeat once and for all.

#7: Explaining the Anomaly

A new sci fi aspect introduced this season is the anomaly. It is a mysterious area in the middle of Sanctum that interferes with radio signals, and causes other weird happenings around the planet. Octavia and Diyoza both went into the anomaly, and Octavia returned, suddenly healed from injuries, and with no memory of what happened to her in there. Diyoza did not return, but in the finale, her daughter did, all grown up. But more on that later. Hopefully, season seven will be dealing with this more in depth. Perhaps there is a connection between the anomaly and Planet Beta. Whatever it is, we definitely need answers to this mystery before the end.

#6: Reuniting the Core Characters

One of the best things about the first few seasons of this show was watching the relationships between the different characters develop. But in the last few seasons, especially following the time jump at the end of season 4, the core group grew apart. Octavia spent much of season six separated from everyone else. In season five, Raven and Clarke didn't even see each other until the last few episodes. [Xref] Raven, in particular, goes through so much alone. Hopefully, along with reuniting with her friends, we’ll also get to see whatever form of a happy ending that exists in this universe, happen for her. She deserves it. Watching the core characters grow through their own separate storylines was fun, but we’d like to see who's left of the core 100 back kicking ass together.

#5: Clarke & Abby

Also in:

Top 10 Most Badass Clarke Moments on The 100

No one on The 100 ever has enough time to grieve in a healthy way. So it will be interesting to see how Clarke deals with the loss of her mother. Can you even imagine that pain when Clarke realizes that her mother was turned into a Prime, but she still has to play it cool? And even though Abby wasn’t in there anymore, Clarke had to push her body out of ship so there is no hope of her, somehow, coming back. Also, Abby's death symbolizes the "kids" truly being on their own, as she is the last of the "adults" that came down from the ark. Mostly, we hope to see Clarke grow even more as a leader, and a mother herself.

#4: Octavia

Top 10 Most Badass Octavia Moments on The 100

After the season six finale, the big question on all of our minds is what happened to Octavia? There is never a moment of rest for the 100. Just when it seemed Octavia and Bellamy were finally finding some common ground after defeating the Primes, a grown up Hope returns from the anomaly, and stabs Octavia, who promptly disappears from Bellamy’s arms. When season seven returns, we need to know exactly where she went. Planet Beta perhaps, or maybe whatever planet Sanctum orbits. Is she even still alive? Knowing Octavia, we’d bet on it. And of course what will Bellamy have to do to find her? Who is this mysterious "he" that has Dyoza? And what new role will Hope play in the group?

#3: Bellarke

Also in:

Top 10 Bellarke Moments on The 100

Many fans have been pulling for this relationship since the very beginning. It's undeniable that there is chemistry between these two characters, and there has, arguably, been a will-they-won’t-they push and pull between them. But whether they end up together or not, it would just be nice to have a definite answer one way or another. If Clarke and Bellamy do get together in this last season, a few new questions will arise, though, the number one of them being, what about Echo? If not, Bellarke fans can at least take solace in the fact that the couple got hitched in real life.

#2: Hope

Also in:

Top 10 Shows We Hope to See End in 2019

Although the tone of this show has always been very dark, one of the major themes has always been hope. Bellamy claims that as long as they’re still breathing, he still has hope. Monty had hope that the 100 could be the good guys. So to end on a note of hope that the human race does, in fact, survive beyond the 100 would be amazing. Maybe after all the fighting, dying, and surviving, the 100 will finally be able to live. Diyoza named her daughter Hope after all; maybe she represents hope for the future.

#1: Home for the 100

Also in:

Top 10 That's So Raven References in Raven's Home

For six seasons, we have watched the 100 search for a place to become their new permanent home. The entire series is prefaced on the idea of humans returning home to earth from space. But they never seem to be able to last anywhere for very long. Jasper thought that it was because humans themselves were the problem, and that they would never figure it out. But we’re hoping Monty was right, and that the 100 can figure out how to make things work. Hopefully, before things end they will finally find a place to call home.
