Breastfeeding Boyfriend, Racist Washing & Backpack Hearts: The Dispatch #28
VOICE OVER: Adrian Sousa
Script Written by Jesse Polowin & Adrian Sousa

Welcome to The Dispatch, WatchMojo.com's look at the weirdest and coolest news stories from the previous week of human existence. This week, we're covering drinking breast milk at 36 years old, living life without a heart, and an awfully racist ad from China.

#3: Racist Cleanliness

This is a whole different take on the despicable ethnic cleansing. Chinese laundry detergent brand Qiaobi is clearly having a tough time selling their product, or just genuinely doesn’t give a crap what people think of their marketing tactics. In their latest commercial, which has been airing in China, a young black man walks into a room, covered in paint splatters. The young lady doing laundry calls him closer seductively, and as the young male leans in to make a move, he gets a detergent packet shoved into his mouth, before he himself is shoved into the washing machine. As the end of the washing cycle comes around, the black man rises from the washing machine. But, plot twist: he’s no longer black, and rises as a clean, fresh Asian man. Do I really need to explain why this sparked outrage on the Internet?

#2: Heartless Hombre

We don’t necessarily need every piece of our meat bag bodies in order to survive, but there are a few that we can’t live without. Well, 25-year-old Stan Larkin was able to survive without one of the most vital organs in the human body. Using a technology called Syncardia, the Michigan resident and father of two lived for 555 days without a heart, wearing an artificial heart kept in a backpack. What’s more, Larkin didn’t just get by using the device – he thrived on it. A 13-pound backpack couldn’t keep him off the basketball courts, although it did make piggybacks for his two daughters tricky. Stan received his donor heart on May 9th of 2016, and has now fully recovered. Mr. Larkin, we wish you the best of luck and hope you can finally switch back to a swaggy Jansport now!

#1: Breastfeeding Bodybuilder

There are some bizarre weight loss techniques out there. Jennifer Aniston did the baby food diet, Elizabeth Hurley reportedly only ate watercress soup all day long, and Beyoncé’s only sustenance was a lime, maple syrup and cayenne pepper concoction for a while. But, a couple from Atlanta that embraces an “adult nursing relationship” might be giving these celebs a run for their money. There’s no wordplay here, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Grown women who nurse their partners. “We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship – a magical bond that only breastfeeding can achieve,” said Jennifer Mulford on her relationship with bodybuilder Brad Leeson. Although initially experiencing some difficulty inducing milk flow, Mulford now maintains her supply by taking herbal medicine and by pumping her breasts every two hours. Before pumping iron, you gotta pump the breasts! Yuck… So, would you go as far as drinking your partners breast milk for those extra gains?
