Hello, I’m Phoebe, and welcome back to Feedback Friday, where every week we ask one question, go through your comments and use your suggestions and feedback to improve your WatchMojo Experience.
First order of business, last week we asked you to share your favorite movie soundtrack or score and…guys…300 comments?! You really showed up for that one, and let me tell you, we had fun going over your comments, some of them even made it into our personal playlists. I mean, everything from Close Encounters and John Williams, to Hot Fuzz, to Can’t Hardly Wait, you guys did not disappoint. I’m thinking there’s at least one or two lists in there.
Next on the agenda, as summer winds down, schools start back up, vacations come to an end, and we’ll soon be looking like this: (Insert Mtl Snow weather news clip)
What better time to talk about faraway places and exotic destinations? Right?! (Zoom into Phoebe’s face)
For those who don’t remember, some time ago, we launched Mojo Travels, a separate channel covering destinations, things to do, travel tips, hotels, pretty much everything associated with seeing the world.
Shout out to all our OG Travels viewers!
Sadly, during the pandemic, this just didn’t make sense, so publishing stopped.
However, for a while now, we’ve been noticing a recurring comment in some of our new destinations or places videos. Some of you keep asking if and when we will bring back travels.
As the plans for the channel were set to an indefinite pause, that leaves us wondering: What would MojoTravels even look like today? Where do we pick up?
We definitely know the answer is not just making more Top 10 Things to Do in X videos, the internet is basically a free for all for travel videos as it is, so it’s a drop in the ocean type of situation. So let’s take a step back and ask:
What has been your favorite trip ever? Or What is your #1 Bucket List destination?
Japan? Antarctica? Greece? An African safari? Patagonia? Road-tripping across America? Sitting on a beach and refusing to move for seven days? Nothing wrong with manifesting right?
