10 Alien Species Believed to Be Visiting Earth

Arcturians
Made popular by hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon and psychic Edgar Cayce, a type of alien known as the Arcturians, from the Arcturus star system, may have been visiting earth. Arcturians have allegedly even relayed messages to humans via telepathy - often referred to as channeling. Reportedly, many of these messages relate to the healing of the earth and some believe these beings to be close to the divine or could even be considered guardians of earth. Some who have reportedly been contacted describe being taken to a different reality by the Arcturians, and some humans even believe themselves to be starseeds - alien beings who have incarnated on earth to help in the evolution of humanity.
Sirians
Aliens who call the star system Sirius home are often referred to as Sirians. In 1977, a message was broadcast across parts of Southern England, claiming to be from an entity calling itself Ashtar - rumored to be the leader of the Sirians, representing their society. The message was one seemingly of good will, advising humans to remove all of the weapons of evil and that they were deeply concerned, pledging to do all they could to help humanity. There was even mention of Sirius, their home star, in Egyptian mythology - the goddess Sopdet was the personification of Sirius, the Dog Star.
Anunnaki
The oldest civilization known to mankind, the Sumerians, seem to have believed in gods called the Anunnaki. They were believed to be the offspring of the Sun God - An - and Ki, the earth goddess. In the 1960s and 1970s, the Anunnaki were written about in books such as Chariot of the Gods and The Twelfth Planet - both of which reference the Sumerian texts, suggesting that these gods were actually ancient aliens. Its debated whether or not the Anunnaki could be considered visitors of earth because they may have been here even before humans - though some believe them to hail from a planet called Nibiru that only comes near earths orbit every 3600 years.
Star People / Sky Beings
Whether they refer to them as Star People, Star Beings, Sky People or Sky Beings - many Native American tribes believe in what would be considered aliens to many around the world. In some traditions, these beings are considered to be human ancestors. A particular Blackfoot legend talks of one of their own, very human, tribe being allowed to ascend to the Sky-Country - they called him Star Boy. Some see these beings as guides, helping to show the way to their people through the ages. UAP sightings at Reservations have even been reported to happen on a somewhat regular basis to this day!
Venusians
A type of alien from Venus is often referred to as Venusian. Around the 1950s a rumored story spread across the globe of an alleged humanoid alien from Venus, Valiant Thor, having visited earth. According to the legend he requested an audience with the President of the United States of America - at the time Dwight D. Eisenhower - allegedly staying in the basement of the Pentagon, sharing secrets of Venusian technology. Also in the 1950s a man named George Adamski wrote about being visited by an alien from Venus. Adamski reported that he was able to communicate with the Venusian entity telepathically. The message Adamski reported the entity to have relayed was pretty clear - stop messing with atomic bombs, before we destroy the earth.
Little Green Men
In the 1940s and 1950s, science fiction popularized the idea of little green men from space - or aliens, as we would now call them. Outside of fiction, however, there have been some fairly well-known reports of these beings - most famously the Kentucky Goblins. In August of 1955, eleven witnesses claimed to have had close contact with short green humanoid beings who had landed a ship on their Kelly, Kentucky farm. In the 1970s in Emilcin, Poland, farmer Jan Wolski claimed to have been attacked and abducted by short, green-faced humanoid entities, who showed up in a UAP the size of a bus - adding to the mystery of the little green men.
Insectoids
Aliens that resemble insects are referred to as Insectoids. The most popular type reported actually resemble a praying mantis. Most of the reports suggest that these beings are telepathic in nature. There have even been reports in modern times of humans believing to have been abducted by mantis-like alien beings - at times, allegedly taken on board after spotting their ship in the skies. They are rumored to hail from the Draco star system, having close ties with Reptilians (more on them later), who may also come from the same star system. Some report these insectoids to even be shapeshifters, possibly even using their advanced knowledge to appear human.
Nordics / Tall Whites / Pleiadians
There are many names for alien beings coming from the Pleiadian star system. Some refer to these entities as simply Pleiadians, while other reports refer to them as the Nordics or the Tall Whites due to their appearance. Allegedly very tall and fair-skinned humanoids, most report these beings as being very beautiful and communicating mostly telepathically - which seems to be a theme among our list. Many who report having experienced contact with one of these entities state that they help to guide humanity, aiding in our spiritual growth. One of the most infamous conspiracies surrounding aliens has described these beings actually meeting with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, where a deal was allegedly struck in secret between the Nordic aliens and the human race.
Reptilians / Reptoids
One of the most well-known types of aliens allegedly visiting earth are the Reptilians or Reptoids, aptly named for their resemblance to reptiles. While some researchers claim they hail from the Draco star system, others believe them to be interdimensional beings. Ancient carvings of reptile-like humanoids can even be found across the world. According to reports, these entities may be able to shapeshift and appear to be human. Possibly because of this rumored ability, its reported that over 10 million Americans believe that the country is ruled by these Reptilian Overlords, making it one of the most popular conspiracy theories regarding alien beings - being referenced aplenty within modern entertainment.
Greys
Arguably the most well-known type of alien to allegedly visit earth would be the Greys - somewhat humanoid beings, skin grey in color, usually reported having large black eyes. This imagery was popularized by the cover art on the book Communion by Whitley Strieber, released in 1987. The book was later turned into a motion picture starring Christopher Walken in 1989, increasing its popularity. Many reported abductions also surround these beings, the most popular of which being the Barney and Betty Hill incident that allegedly took place in 1961 - though the beings in this case were described to have had hair and looked somewhat more human-like. More recently, television shows and movies have brought the Greys back to the forefront of the cultural zeitgeist.
