Top 5 Facts About Kylie Jenner's New Show

If you can’t get enough of the Kardashian clan, fear not - there’s more. Welcome to MsMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 5 Facts About Kylie Jenner's New Show.

For this list, we’re giving you all the information we know so far about 2017’s “Life of Kylie”.

#5: It Will Show Both Her Personal & Her Professional Life

Kylie is best known for her extremely successful makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, but she is always focusing on more than one venture at a time. Her social media presence is carefully curated and her modelling career is thriving. She has even co-authored a series of dystopian young adult books with her sister Kendall. Kylie has shown she can be a badass girl boss in her own right, and in keeping with that image, the show will give us a behind the scenes look at her business, while of course keeping a balance by exploring personal stuff too.

#4: Kylie Is an Executive Producer of the Show

Since “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” first debuted in 2007, Kris Jenner has acted as an executive producer on the show, ensuring that she has some measure of control over her family’s public image. In the later seasons of the show, Kim, Khloé and Kourtney have similarly received executive producer credits. Kylie is clearly following her family’s example, and is listed as an executive producer on “Life of Kylie” alongside Ryan Seacrest. It’s a smart business move on the part of the young entrepreneur, as, in this position, she can maintain a certain level of artistic control and influence decisions about content.

#3: It Will Feature Jordyn Woods

Since the show is specifically dedicated to Kylie’s life rather than the larger Kardashian/Jenner clan, we’ll most likely get to experience more intimate moments from Kylie’s life, the likes of which we’ve never seen when the “Kardashians” cameras are rolling. Case in point, we’ll likely be seeing more of her friends. Kylie’s bestie, Instagram star Jordyn Woods, will reportedly be one of prominent figures appearing on “Life of Kylie.” If you don’t know much about Jordyn, you will soon enough. She’s a curvaceous model who doesn’t like to be called “plus sized” because she thinks industry standards are way too narrow. We like her already!

#2: This Is the 1st Show to Focus Solely on Kylie

While Kylie has been followed by cameras since she was 9 years old, when “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” began filming, this will be the first time that we get a spinoff that solely focuses on the youngest sister. Other than Kendall, all of her older sisters have had shows that took a closer look at their lives - typically when they were spending an extended period of time in another city. “Life of Kylie” won’t be a full spin-off series though. With only 8 episodes announced as of mid-2017, it is being billed as a limited series.

#1: It Will Give an Inside Look at Her Business

While all the Kardashians have taken on their own business ventures in the wake of their extreme fame, none have risen quicker to success than Kylie. When she launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015, her fans (and the rest of the world) went nuts, and the hype has not died down since. Considering the overnight success of Kylie Cosmetics, fans of both Kylie and her brand are always clamoring for more information about the company. Luckily for those interested, Kylie has said that she wants to use “Life of Kylie” to give her followers an inside look at the workings behind Kylie Cosmetics.
