Ghost Recon Wildlands Is Getting A Surprise Guest…The Predator!

You’re One Ugly Cameo…

It wasn’t exactly the worst game to come out of 2017, but no one was ranting and raving that Wildlands was snubbed at the Game Awards. Everything you wanted and expected in a Ghost Recon game was pretty much all there along with a nice new sheen. DLC, events and expansions are still par for the course, but none of us were really expecting anything “out there.”

And then we got our preview for The Hunt, where it was strongly hinted at that players are going to be taking on the fearsome might of the legendary sci-fi monster known as The Predator!

According to an article on IGN

Proving 2017 has at least one more surprise left in it, Ubisoft has just revealed a new special event for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, teasing a legendary cameo in the process: The Predator.

The Predator doesn’t feature overtly in the trailer but Ubisoft isn’t exactly being subtle about it. The skinned bodies, the iconic Predator growl, the font – it can only mean one thing: Ubisoft has cooked up a story and it’s about to drop us into the meatgrinder.

The upcoming event is called “The Hunt” and will  will arrive in-game on December 14.

This isn’t the first time The Predator has popped up to guest star in a game this generation, either; he’s previously infiltrated Call of Duty: Ghosts back in 2014 and Mortal Kombat X in 2015.

From the looks of things, landing the killing blow on the alien hunter is not going to be an easy task. Aside from the whole invisibility thing, The Predator knows a thing or two about laying traps. Good luck of getting out of one of those without getting skinned alive in the process!
