The Inpatient Asks For Patience
Games get delayed all the time, and more often than not this is to ensure that the product comes out in the best way possible. However that doesn’t take away the fact after so much hype fans are left feeling more than a little deflated. This is especially true with these two titles, which from the looks of things were set to take the VR world by storm. One of these just so happens to be the prequel to the 2015’s sleeper hit Until Dawn.
According to an article on Gamespot –
Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games has announced on its website(via IGN) that two of its upcoming PlayStation VR games won’t make it out this year as scheduled.
The horror game The Inpatient, which is set in the world of Supermassive’s Until Dawn, is now launching on January 23, 2018 in the US and a day later in Europe and other international markets. The game takes place in the eerie Blackwood Sanatorium in the ’50s.
Supermassive’s other new PlayStation VR game, the first-person co-op shooter Bravo Team, has been delayed to March 6, 2018. It’s coming a day later in Europe and other international regions.
Supermassive announced The Inpatient, Bravo Team, and the crime game Hidden Agenda during Sony’s E3 2017 briefing back in June. Hidden Agenda launched at the end of October, and comes to Europe and other international markets on November 22.
While little is known about Bravo Team, hopefully it will make for a decent shooter and manage to differentiate itself from the rest in the genre. As for The Inpatient, we’re all eager to dive back into the world that Until Dawn created. Frankly we can’t think of anything more terrifying than getting a face full of Wendigo.
