Travel Guide: Aruba

Languages
Aruba is one of three countries that comprise the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which is why citizens of Aruba hold Dutch passports, and the official language of the country is also Dutch. It is also one of three countries that make up what are called the ABC Islands, along with Bonaire and Curaçao. The most predominant language on these three islands is Papiamento, a Creole derivative of Portuguese.
Climate - Sunny Days
The country is consistently warm, sunny and dry, and this is one detail that keeps tourists coming back. Lying outside the hurricane belt, the climate is tropical, yet not extreme.
Cultural Mosaic
The country’s culture is diverse, meshing elements from multiple countries. Originally discovered by Spain, and now part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, both these influences continue to pervade the landscape.
Beautiful weather year-round, along with unique local culture, make Aruba one island that’s worth the trip.
