This included “Windows Down,” which Kesha had a hand in writing, alongside the likes of Mike Posner and others. The song, which features a hook sampled from Blur’s iconic ‘90s rock jam “Song 2”, for which those songwriters also received credit on this track, charted at number 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100. “Windows Down” is unabashedly dependent on Blur’s catchy instrumentals and distinct “woo hoo!”, but it’s an undeniably fun dance track.
