VOICE OVER: Kirsten Ria Squibb WRITTEN BY: Ty Richardson
Welcome to WatchMojo, and today, we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Weirdly Sexualized Video Game Villains. For this list, we're taking a look at the many antagonists that have been portrayed as sexy, but in some pretty bizarre ways. Our countdown includes Mileena from the "Mortal Kombat" series (1992-), Christie from the "Dead or Alive" (1996-), Ghirahim "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" (2011), and more!

#10: Christie

“Dead Or Alive” series (1996-) On the surface, Christie seems like an odd choice to put in the spotlight compared to the other DOA girls. However, we’ve seen plenty of hot ninja babes and sexy wrestlers before. What makes Christie so different is her somewhat sadistic flirting with young Eliot. Take, for instance, this scene from “Dead Or Alive 5” when Eliot asks the bartender assassin if he can have another glass of milk. [show scene] We aren’t sure if Christie really is into young guys or if she’s just trying to humiliate him before killing him. Either way, she makes it pretty unnerving.

#9: Panther Caroso

“Star Fox” series (1992-2016) Speaking of romance and death, Panther Caroso is another steamy oddball that must be addressed. Normally, panthers are depicted as stealthy and cunning prowlers, determined in taking down their prey. Caroso, on the other hand, has this weird thing about his victims seeing his rose-ladened ship in their final moments. (What is it with villains romanticizing death all the time?) What’s even weirder is that he’ll openly flirt with Krystal right in front of Fox. Like, dude, you know they are a thing, right? We get that he’s supposed to be a literal smooth-talking cat, but did it really have to be this way?

#8: Sylvanas Windrunner

Sylvanas Windrunner: Her Complete Story

“World of Warcraft” (2004) Let us never forget that infamous moment from BlizzCon 2010 where one female fan asked Blizzard devs about “Warcraft” characters looking like Victoria’s Secret models. Seriously, she does have a point, and one character that is a prime example of this criticism is Sylvanas Windrunner. The Banshee Queen has been through numerous wars and suffered a terrible fate where she was not only slain, but also had her soul ripped out. Now, we’re not saying that fantasy can’t have a little bit of sex appeal in its character design. But come on, isn’t it a little ridiculous that she looks as if nothing ever happened? It just doesn’t make sense.

#7: Lubella Dim

“Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight” (2016) We can give Lubella Dim a bit of a pass in her sexy design. The community has widely regarded her as the token fan service character, and she’s arguably the easiest boss of the “Momodora” games. What gets her on the list is HOW you defeat her. Normally, weak points for bosses are a fragile spot like an eye, a blemish, a crack in armor, an organ, or the like. Lubella Dim’s weak spot - or weak SPOTS are her breasts. And yes, they do jiggle with every hit you land.

#6: Dr. N. Tropy

Top 10 Video Game Bosses That Play Dirty

“Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time” (2020) When it comes to “Crash Bandicoot”, the only character who was ever sexualized was Tawna, Crash’s girlfriend from the first game, and that was because her appearance was based off of adult film star Pamela Anderson. It was weird then, but “Crash 4” gave us someone even stranger - a female N. Tropy. What’s even more uncomfortable about her is how she flirts with her male counterpart, and just about the entire cast seems to recognize how wrong this is. Don’t either of them realize that they are basically flirting with themselves in the mirror? No matter which way you look at it, Oxide’s face says it all.

#5: Mileena

“Mortal Kombat” series (1992-) It’s pretty much impossible to talk about weirdly sexy villains without acknowledging Mileena. For starters, she is a completely unnatural living being, having been created from one of Shang Tsung’s screwed-up experiments. In other words, she is something that absolutely should not exist. While she maintained Kitana’s looks (having been a clone and all), the Tarkatan blood shows in her face from the unique eyes to the dentition that would make anyone an odontophobe. And yet, NetherRealm Studios does everything they can to play her up. Yeah, it gets creepy at times.

#4: Chaos Witch Quelaag

“Dark Souls” (2011) Anyone who has played “Dark Souls” knows EXACTLY why this vile and disgusting abomination deserves to be on this list! Just look at her - she’s a freakin’ spider demon with a naked human lady on top! Why does this horrific monstrosity have a hot lady on its head? There’s an attempt to humanize her and make her appealing, but that fire and saliva spewing everywhere tells us there is no reasoning here, there will be no date, no flirting, nada. This thing has gotta go, and it was so relieving to finally best her.

#3: Gruntilda

“Banjo-Kazooie” (1998) No, there is nothing attractive about Gruntilda in any way, shape, or form. Come on, this old hag is covered in warts and became a bony wreck by the time we started “Nuts & Bolts”. And yet, there is one moment in the first game where she’s asked out by the foolish shaman Mumbo. Getting a game over or quitting will show a cutscene that will guilt trip you into playing some more. Tootie is encased in Gruntilda’s machine, and the two switch physical traits. Tootie is now a gross, blobby monster while Gruntilda is this classy-looking woman with a softer voice. All seemed alright with her until that damn cackle popped up again.

#2: Ghirahim

“The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword” (2010) Just looking at Ghirahim makes our spines tingle. There was always something about him that looked off, like he was going to do something weird enough to make us want to call the cops. Once we got our hands on “Skyward Sword”, our beliefs were proven true. Ghirahim has this weird habit of sticking his tongue out and moving it about like a putrid snake. Dude seems to be all about that tongue, and we are not down to clown with it. Needless to say, we fought him almost the same way as we would swat a fly.

#1: Lady Dimitrescu

Lady Dimitrescu's Origin Story

“Resident Evil: Village” (2021) Nine-foot tall vampire lady. That’s all Capcom needed to say to break the internet during “Village’s” promotion. Most of the characters on this list were sexualized by their own creators in some manner. Lady Dimitrescu was sexualized almost entirely by the internet as its collective conscience begged for her to step on them, choke them harder, or slam them through more floors. Yeah, there was a lot of thirsty behavior going on, and it doesn’t make much sense given Lady D doesn’t really do anything sexy in the game. [show her sucking blood from Ethan’s hand] …Okay, nothing INTENTIONALLY sexy. But internet, why don’t you take a seat right over there, hm?
