Top 10 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters of All Time

As if the Marvel Universe wasn’t awesome enough, it is home to some of the strongest and sexiest women in comic book history. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’ll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Sexiest Marvel Female Characters. For this list, we are looking at the sexiest women found specifically in Marvel comics. We are not including male characters, because the boys deserve their own list. And for all you DC fans out there, be sure to check out our other list, the “Top 10 Sexiest DC Female Comic Book Characters”.

#10: Elektra

They say everyone loves a bad boy, but what about a bad girl? Elektra is a ninja assassin and is a lot more than just Daredevil’s main love interest. She has an incredible body, but don’t get on her bad side, as she is one of the most dangerous characters in the Marvel universe. On top of her martial arts skills, Elektra has the ability to make other people see illusions, including comic book readers, who always see her in a miniscule outfit that leaves nothing to the imagination. Oh, wait, we aren’t imagining that part at all. +1.

#9: Gamora

Also in:

SuperVillain/Hero Origins: Gamora

Who doesn’t love a sexy alien? The adopted daughter of Thanos, Gamora is the last of her species. Similar to Elektra, Gamora is skilled combatant and works as a deadly assassin, having been trained by Thanos as a child. She eventually turned on him, and assisted the Avengers in battling her adoptive father. Gamora is by far the sexiest member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and it’s amazing that the rest of the team is able to fight considering the outfits she wears. Who said it isn’t easy being green?

#8: Black Cat

Also in:

Supervillain Origins: Black Adam

Peter Parker is supposed to be a nerd, but he sure does capture the attention of some beautiful women. A former cheerleader and gymnast, Black Cat is not only a highly skilled fighter, she is also an expert burglar, which put her on Spider-Man’s radar. Of course, we think there may be one or two other things that caught Spidy’s eye, particularly the tight leather outfit that barely keeps everything in place. Her only downside seems to be her obsession with Spider-Man, something that has put Peter at risk on more than one occasion. Worth.

#7: Mystique

Also in:

Supervillain Origins: Mystique

Sure, the yellow eyes are a bit frightening at first, but everything about Mystique screams sexy. She is the definition of a bad girl, typically working with Magneto as an enemy of the X-Men. Her main mutant power is the ability to shape shift, meaning she can appear as any other person in the world, fulfilling any fantasy you could ever want. Of course, we don’t need Mystique any other way than in her original blue form.

#6: Black Widow

Also in:

Superhero Origins: Black Panther

What is it about spies that make them so sexy? Natasha Romanova, aka Black Widow, first appeared as a Russian spy before defecting and joining S.H.I.E.L.D. This red-headed bomb-shell is worthy of the name “Black Widow” as she as skilled as she is beautiful. She is also a key member of the Avengers, despite the fact that she doesn’t have any superpowers. Black Widow isn’t afraid to use her charm to get what she wants, although the tight leather costume doesn’t hurt either.

#5: Psylocke

Also in:

Comic Book Origins: Psylocke

This character's alteration had fans calling purple the new black. Initially introduced as English woman Betsy Braddock, brother to Captain Britain, Psylocke's page appeal didn't skyrocket until her redesign, when her character's mind was implanted into Japanese assassin Kwannon's body. This procedure allowed the telepathic mutant to not only adopt her replacement's ninja-like abilities, but her purple hair, eyes, and sleek, curvy athletic build. Psylocke also isn't shy to show off these appreciable features, as she's often seen in a revealing blue leotard.

#4: Rogue

Also in:

Superhero Origins: Rogue of the X-Men

You may be better off appreciating Rogue’s beauty from a distance. This southern belle is most often seen wearing a full body suit, complete with gloves, to keep her powers from involuntarily hurting others. Still, that body and charm has left her with many an admirer, risk be damned. While Rogue has had a lot of different looks over the years, and while her Savage Land outfit alone is enough to land her on this list, her 90s fashion will never go out of style.

#3: Storm

Also in:

Superhero Origins: Storm

Perhaps the only thing more breathtaking than this mutant's limitless powers is her exotic beauty. Ororo Munroe originated from a Kenyan tribe, before becoming Queen Consort of Wakanda through marriage to Black Panther. Storm's most defining physical attributes are her long white hair and blue eyes, both hereditary traits passed down to women in her lineage. Years of hand to hand combat training has also rendered her body incredibly fit and toned, which is part of the reason she has such a youthful appearance.

#2: Mary Jane Watson

There's just something about that whole “girl next door” look. Mary Jane may not possess any superhuman abilities or be affiliated with any superhero organizations, yet she's managed to capture the hearts of Spider-Man fans everywhere. As Peter Parker’s legendary love interest, being exceptionally attractive has allowed Mary Jane to pursue a career in both modeling and acting. Redhead fan or not, we're sure you'll sway your opinion after seeing this fiery beauty. Before we unveil our number one pick, here are a few honourable mentions: She-Hulk Sue Storm Spider-Woman X-23 Captain Marvel

#1: Emma Frost

Emma Frost, AKA The White Queen doesn’t even need mutant powers to get what she wants. Her telepathic abilities have made her one of the most formidable mutants in the X-Men universe, she is much more notable for her impossible beauty that is by her own admission, “the best body money can buy”. The blonde ice queen seems to have no problem in making herself the center of attention everywhere she goes with her head-turning figure and tendency to reveal copious amounts skin. Emma's promiscuity has also earned her the title of “home-wrecker,” as there are few men that can resist her charm. Do you agree with our list?
