Top 10 RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6 Moments

Top 10 RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6 Moments
VOICE OVER: Rebecca Brayton WRITTEN BY: Val Namaki
Season 6 of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars" is one for the ages. Our countdown includes the Blue Ball, the Snatch Game of Love, Pop Star Halftime Show, and more!

#10: The All Star Variety Extravaganza “All Star Variety Extravaganza”

Season six of All Stars started off with a talent show of epic proportions. The pressure was on to stand out, and some of the queens really rose to the challenge. Ra’Jah O’Hara’s one-minute dress and Pandora Boxx’s performance about embracing your weirdness were big hits. Of course, Yara Sofia’s risque winning number was full of her signature over-the-top attitude, and made a huge impact! But not everybody delivered a performance worth remembering. Trinity K. Bonet’s nerves got the best of her, and Serena ChaCha failed to properly execute her concept. Overall, this maxi challenge served as a great entry point to the season, and left us excited for more!

#9: Side Hustle Commercials “Side Hustles”

Most of the time, we want to fast forward through commercials. But that’s because they aren’t as engaging as the queens’ “side hustle” ads! In true Drag Race fashion, the gigs they promoted in teams were absolutely priceless. The “Drag Fixers”, composed of Trinity, Pandora, Yara, and Ra’Jah, won the challenge thanks to their clever concept and catchy slogan. The “Drag Exorcists”, also known as Kylie, Scarlet, and Eureka created a hilarious commercial and were deemed safe. Unfortunately, Team “Rent-a-Queen”, made up of Ginger, A’Keria, Jan, and Silky, missed the mark. This glorious challenge had us wishing these services were real. At least the advertisements live on!

#8: The Blue Ball “The Blue Ball”

There’s no doubt that the fashion on Drag Race is always noteworthy. And what better place than a ball to see what the queens can cook up? This season, they had to deliver three “blue” looks. Up first was “blue betta werk”, a play on working class uniforms. Then, we were treated to “blue jean baby”, an elevated denim ensemble. Finally, there was the “blue ball bonanza”, a fashionable outfit crafted with blue items. Though Yara Sofia and Jiggly Caliente’s clothes were simply not up to All Stars standards, Ra’Jah O’Hara DELIVERED. Her sophisticated and creative ensembles earned her the win, and gave us new looks to obsess over for years to come.

#7: "Phone" Lip Sync & Fakeout Assassin “Pink Table Talk”

After doing a stellar job during the pink table talk challenge, Ginger was crowned the top all star of the week. But who would she lip sync for her legacy against? Could it be...the legendary Bianca Del Rio? As hilarious as that would have been, it was a very clever fake out courtesy of the Drag Race production team. Don’t get us wrong, Bianca is an icon. But she was never on the chopping block during her season! Instead, it was a battle between Ginger Minj and Mayhem Miller, set to the tune of Lizzo’s “Phone”. The latter queen brought it, but Ginger was unstoppable. She had fierce moves, embodied the song’s story, and earned herself a cash tip of $30 000!

#6: Pop Star Halftime Show “Halftime Headliners”

Some people watch the Super Bowl because they love football. But it’s safe to say that part of what makes it so memorable is the halftime show. So it was only fitting that the contestants pay homage to the legendary artists that have lit up the event’s stage. Naturally, they did so by lip syncing to one of RuPaul’s songs - in their entertainer’s signature style. Though certain queens - like Yara and A’Keria - didn’t quite embody their performer, others really made us believe in their impersonation! Trinity broke the Beyoncé curse and brought the starlet to life, while Jan absolutely nailed her Lady Gaga impression! Can we start a petition to have them perform together at the Super Bowl next year?

#5: "Show Up Queen!" Anthem Challenge “Show Up Queen”

Top 10 Shocking Drag Race Talent Show Moments

When the All Stars brought a beautiful anthem titled “Show Up Queen” to life, they showed us how drag is a force for social change. The best results came from queens - like top all star of the week Trinity K. Bonet - who dug deep and inspired us with their powerful verses. Sadly, Pandora struggled to stand out, while Jan’s lyrics lacked depth. Thus, they faced elimination. But who would be sent home? After Alexis Mateo won the epic J.Lo themed lip sync against Trinity, she dropped a bombshell. There was a tie in the vote!! In other words, Trinity’s work wasn’t done. As the tiebreaker, her lipstick sent Jan home. Drag Race certainly knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats!

#4: The Snatch Game of Love “Snatch Game of Love”

Watching the queens do celebrity impersonations has always been one of the best parts of Drag Race. So when RuPaul announced it was finally time for the Snatch Game of Love, we were BEYOND excited. Unsurprisingly, this challenge always leads to some failures. Trinity wasn’t able to make Whitney Houston funny, and couldn’t keep up with the others. Similarly, Pandora’s Kim Cattrall was redundant and didn’t generate many laughs. Yet the amazing performances undoubtedly outweighed the bad ones here! Kylie fully embodied Dolly Parton’s essence, Eureka became Divine, and Ra’Jah made us laugh as La Toya Jackson. But it was Ginger who completely stole the show with her quick-witted Phyllis Diller impression. How much longer until the next Snatch Game?!

#3: Laganja Estranja's Entrance “Side Hustles”

Laganja Estranja knows how to make an impact. She proved it once with her unforgettable werk room entrance on season 6 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”. And she found a way to do it again on All Stars 6 as a lip sync assassin. As the screen lifted to reveal Trinity K. Bonet’s competitor, nobody emerged. But just as everybody began wondering what was happening, Laganja herself flew, coming in from on high!! Did we mention she then effortlessly dropped into a split? It goes without saying, but we were absolutely LIVING for this moment! Most lip sync assassins simply stand behind the screen and wait for their identity to be revealed. But Laganja Estranja loves dramatic entrances, and we love that about her!

#2: PLACEHOLDER “Grand Finale”

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. Funny & Touching Real-Life Anecdotes, “The Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent Monologues” We Were Treated to a Slew of Amazing True Stories The "Miss You Much" Lip Sync, “The Blue Ball” Ra’Jah O’Hara & Brooke Lynn Hytes Delivered a Lip Sync So Good Ru Declared a Tie! #1: Eliminated Queens Vie for Another Chance “Rudemption Lip-Sync Smackdown”

It’s safe to say we all spent a huge chunk of the season wondering what RuPaul’s “game within a game” was going to be. But it was seriously worth the wait! The highly anticipated twist was a “lip-sync smackdown” that had secretly been unfolding all season long. Naturally, the prize was a second shot at the Drag Race Hall of Fame. We aren’t exaggerating when we say our jaws were GLUED to the floor thanks to the inimitable Silky Nutmeg Ganache. The reverend doctor slayed us all with her creative lip syncs, and was virtually unbeatable. However, she met her match in the final smackdown against Eureka. Though Silky ultimately lost, we’ll always have her lip syncs. Now, excuse us while we go rewatch them!
