Top 10 Romantic Moments on XO, Kitty
#10: Dae & Eunice Get Together
We definitely needed more of this couple on “XO, Kitty”. Dae falls for Eunice after his relationship with Kitty fizzles out. The two grow close while competing in a talent show and develop a natural, effortless chemistry. Although their budding romance is interrupted in its early stages, the two eventually find their way back to each other. Their feelings mature with time, and when difficulties arise, Dae proves to be a steadfast pillar of support for her. By the end of the season, he’s as devoted to her as can be. So, when she bats an eyelash and asks him out, he melts, and so do we.
#9: Yuri & Juliana Reunite
Dae-Kitty shippers everywhere sighed in relief when it turned out that Yuri wasn’t actually our heroine’s rival in love. However, this joy didn’t last long because the truth behind her fake relationship with Dae was heartbreaking. Turns out, Yuri had been secretly dating a girl named Juliana, but the two were forced apart by their families. Dae had been posing as her boyfriend to keep her sexuality hidden from her family. So, when Juliana sneaks into KISS to see her girl one last time before leaving the country, emotions run high. They’re saying goodbye, but Juliana frames it as a ‘see you later’ to soothe Yuri’s pain while hiding her own. Their clandestine kiss is cute, but the bittersweet farewell is peak romance.
#8: Min-ho’s First Confession
This was the scene that solidified “XO, Kitty” as an enemies-to-lovers romance. Min-ho confessing his feelings to Kitty on a plane in the season one finale made jaws drop. After all, the two spent most of the season butting heads! Despite their rough start, Min-ho realized what he had been looking for was right in front of him all along. So he just had to lay all his cards on the table. Kitty might be shocked, but this feels like it was always meant to be. Sure, it’s cheesy, but that’s exactly why we love it!
#7: Kitty & Yuri Kiss
This romance had layers to it. Kitty and Yuri weren’t just love interests or friends. The complicated relationship between their mothers translated into a soul-level connection between them. During a deeply vulnerable exchange, they give in to their feelings for each other and share a kiss. For Kitty, this moment was possibly life-altering, as she had long yearned for Yuri. However, Yuri’s relationship with Juliana meant this was not only a transgression, but also that it wouldn’t go anywhere serious. Yet, in those suspended few seconds, the two were happy.
#6: Dae & Kitty’s Defining Kiss
We have Queen Yuri to thank for his adorable scene from season one. Having discovered her mother’s interference in her relationship with Juliana, she ‘dumps’ Dae in front of paparazzi she called, refusing to use her friend to cleanse her father’s controversial image. This leaves no obstacles between Dae and Kitty. Now, at this point, we were pretty mad at our boy for putting Kitty through an emotional rollercoaster, but his sincerity changed our minds. The two locked lips, giving us one of the most swoon-worthy moments of the season. Needless to say, they couldn’t get enough of each other after that kiss.
#5: Kitty and Min-ho Dance Together
The Cherry Blossom Ball marks one of the most pivotal moments in “XO, Kitty” season two. Our titular protagonist has the earth-shattering realization that she may be in love with Min-ho, who is stuck in a relationship with Stella. Before things go awry, the pair find a quiet moment to dance together. Set to the ultimate yearners’ anthem, Chappell Roan’s “Picture You”, the scene never fails to tug at our heartstrings. The two look perfect together, and the tension between them could be cut with a knife. Unfortunately, the reality of their situation crashes down on them in the form of Stella in a little black revenge dress, but for the audience, the dance made their feelings crystal clear.
#4: The Hot Tub Scene
Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky memorably got one of these in “To All the Boys I've Loved Before”. So, it was only fair that Kitty and Min-ho got one too, especially after she made like her sister and wrote a love letter about Yuri, which inevitably got exposed. Naturally, this ruined Yuri and Juliana’s relationship, and Praveena, who had been getting close to Kitty, was left heartbroken. What mattered to Min-ho, though, was how Kitty was taking all this. By the time he found her in the hot tub, she was already in a self-flagellating state of mind, but his genuine empathy comforted her. Although they were technically just friends at this point, this scene is one of Kitty and Min-ho’s most tender moments.
#3: Jin & Q Get Back Together
One stupid mistake tore these two apart. Q reconnected with his former flame, Marius, while spending a summer training at USC. That disappointing choice born out of loneliness came back to bite him when Marius himself returned to KISS, determined to reconcile with him. Watching Jin discover that his boyfriend had stepped out on him was one of the most painful moments in the show. However, when Q realized Jin was the one for him, he went all in to win him back. It took him a few detours – and one questionable bike ride with Marius – to get there, but when he did, there was no looking back. Even Jin couldn’t ignore his efforts and ended up back in his arms at Kitty’s birthday bash.
#2: The Rain Scene
Kitty and Min-ho set a new standard for romance with this scene. Instead of a classic “Notebook”-style kiss in the rain, the two embraced while Kitty broke down after feeling rejected by her Korean relatives. In a way only Min-ho could, he built her back up, made her believe in herself, and gave her the courage to keep reaching out to her family. We all thought there would be a kiss, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t disappointed there wasn’t one, but somehow, the lack of it made the scene even more meaningful.

#1: Kitty & Min-ho Are Endgame
This is the moment the entire show leads up to, and it is deeply satisfying, to say the least. Kitty is about to fly back to Portland, but Min-ho can’t let her go without making sure she knows just how strong his feelings are for her. So, our resident spoiled brat makes his subway debut to chase after her. He reaches her through song before finding her physically, and the two finally get together. It took them three seasons to admit they love each other, but the breathtaking moment was totally worth the wait.
