She referenced her role in the 2019 film “Uncut Gems” directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, but pronounced the title in the most bizarre way. The internet became obsessed with the clip, and many users posted videos mimicking the actress. Even celebrities like Shay Mitchell and Cara Delevingne participated in poking fun. As for the interviewer’s original question, what is a muse? We’re still not exactly sure.

When it comes to celebs with culinary prowess, the Kardashian-Jenners aren’t the first people we think of. A scene from the famous family’s newer reality show revealed Kendall’s cooking skills in particular leave something to be desired. The model was at her mom Kris’s place when she tried to chop up a cucumber. Her knife work is some of the worst we’ve ever seen, with her cross-armed strategy being especially cringe-worthy. At one point, Kris tries to get her personal chef to intervene. Kendall claims to spend a lot of time in her own kitchen, but after watching this clip, we doubt it.

#8: Quinta Brunson Gave Her Speech with Jimmy Kimmel at Her Feet

The former Buzzfeed producer won her first Emmy in 2022, but the moment wasn’t without some award show weirdness. Jimmy Kimmel thought it would be funny to lean into the fact that his series lost in its category beforehand. He enlisted the help of fellow presenter Will Arnett for a bit that had him pretending to be passed out. The award winner awkwardly made her way around him before trying to rouse him. Instead of giving her space to make her speech, however, Kimmel just gave her a thumbs up. The “Abbott Elementary” star and creator had a good attitude about the whole thing, and he later apologized to her. While the gag was arguably rude, it was definitely cringe.

While Michele and Groff seem close enough to comfortably discuss her nether region, it’s safe to say the whole thing shocked plenty of people watching.

Giuliani was already deeply entrenched in controversial politics and conspiracies when he made his appearance on the singing competition show as Jack in the Box. As the lawyer for Donald Trump during his time as President, the former mayor of New York City is a problematic figure. His unveiling didn’t sit right with the show’s panelist Ken Jeong, causing him to walk off set. It was reported that Jeong’s fellow panelist Robin Thicke also left, although his departure wasn’t shown. Honestly, the last thing most people want when watching escapist reality TV is an appearance from a polarizing politician.

The music artist kicked off the year defending his reputation by getting physical with people who mistook him for someone else. Derulo was in Las Vegas when two men reportedly aggressively addressed him as Usher. He immediately took action, demonstrating why you shouldn’t misname him with his fists. Getting called by the wrong moniker is upsetting, but Derulo’s reaction might be a little excessive. Hey, maybe everyone should think twice about addressing celebrities in public.

Leading up to its premiere in September, Olivia Wilde’s wannabe “Stepford Wives” film faced more than a few hiccups. From drama about Shia LaBeouf’s initial casting and departure, to alleged feuding between Wilde and Florence Pugh, rumors started to spread during the summer months regarding the movie’s production. All the supposed drama had us ready to believe that Harry Styles spit on his co-star Chris Pine at the Venice Film Festival, although a spokesperson has since denied it. The director’s personal life was also dragged into the conversation, considering her romance with Styles and separation from actor Jason Sudeikis. On the upside, this celebrity controversy introduced us to a new salad dressing recipe we want to try.

This former “The Hills” reality star garnered a lot of attention when she tried out a new diet early in the year. Paparazzi spotted her in March, standing on a random sidewalk and eating raw bison heart out of a ziploc bag. Montag didn’t solely rely on the paps to share her new eating habits, either. She herself posted videos online eating a variety of different uncooked animal organs. She claimed there were many health benefits to doing so, including improved fertility, crediting Dr. Paul Saladino for the information. To say we’re not so sure about the science behind these claims would be an understatement. Indeed, experts have warned against the dangers of such a diet.

This unscripted moment of chaos was broadcast live during the 2022 Oscars. Chris Rock didn’t realize what he was getting himself into when he made a joke at Jada Pinkett Smith’s expense. It resulted with her husband, Will Smith, getting physical. At first, the “King Richard” star was shown seemingly enjoying the jab while his wife was visibly annoyed. Moments later, however, he was on stage, taking an open palm to the presenter’s face. Once back in his chair, Smith issued the comedian a warning using colorful language. The movie star returned to the stage later on to accept the award for Best Actor. If there’s one good thing to come from this roller coaster of events, it's an increased awareness of alopecia areata.

The month started with him appearing at the Yeezy show in Paris wearing a shirt emblazoned with a racist slogan. Afterwards, he took to social media where he made anti-Semitic remarks. Over the course of the following weeks, he gave multiple interviews defending his various conspiratorial ideas. In addition to being problematic, most of what he says is completely senseless. His statements lost him multiple brand deals and more than a billion dollars of net worth. There was no reason for him to say the disturbing things he did, and doing so practically cost him his career.
