Top 10 Most Extra Final Smashes in Smash Bros. Ultimate With over 75 characters to choose from, it’s no surprise some of these ultimate abilities are totally ridiculous in the best way possible. Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 most extra Final Smashes in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”. #10: Peach/Daisy

Joining Peach as a member of the Smash roster in “Ultimate” is her darker-haired counterpart, Daisy. While these two Nintendo princesses play almost exactly the same, their respective Final Smash abilities are each uniquely ludicrous. Both attacks result in the screen becoming dominated by pictures of the character while all the other players fall asleep, allowing Peach or Daisy to eat items and regain health before having a go at the unconscious players. Thankfully, in case anyone was still having trouble distinguishing between the two by this point, Peach’s Final Smash drops giant peaches from the sky, while Daisy’s drops… you guessed it… great big daisies. Talk about extra!

#9: Ice Climbers

Speaking of potentially overpowered attacks, if Ice Climbers players weren’t already into enough shenanigans with de-syncing combos, their Final Smash ability also happens to be one of the strongest in the game. Their attack creates a huge ice mountain that bounces players off the stage, making it nearly impossible to recover if near the edge. The move is even more dominant on smaller stages, and can cause absolute chaos in matches with three, four or more players. We all have that one friend who likes to troll when playing “Smash” together, and if we’re being honest that friend usually plays Ice Climbers. There seems to be a reason for that.

#6: Pit

Pit’s Final Smash begins right away with abrupt screaming, which is always a good sign. From there, the winged young boy flies off into the background right past his opponents and a big, ominous flashing target appears. Once activated, a chariot driven by two pegasuses (pegasi? pegasus?) burst forward with Pit riding center, trampling over everything in their path in the most extravagant way possible. Only in the Super Smash Bros. series could you see classic video game icons such as Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog and Solid Snake get run down by a flying angelic chariot and not feel an ounce of sadness.

#7: R.O.B.

Everyone loves R.O.B. How could you not? He’s an adorable little 80’s robot, just like “Short Circuit”! He’s based on a real toy! And he has all kinds of lasers! Who doesn’t love lasers? R.O.B.’s Final Smash begins with a short burst of homing lasers that don’t deal much damage, but push players closer into position for his next attack. Following that, R.O.B. shoots out a large, powerful laser that quickly turns into an even larger, even more powerful laser. Okay, R.O.B., we get it. We liked you already, you don’t have to try to impress us!

#6: Villager/Isabelle

Villager and Isabelle, both of “Animal Crossing” fame, share the same moveset and Final Smash. Their attack consists of them handing off a sack of money to the Nooks, who in return build a house around a trapped player which they then blow up. That probably won’t make sense to anyone who hasn’t played “Animal Crossing,” but hey, what actually makes sense in this game anyway? Though the two moves function the same between both Isabelle and Villager, the buildings are unique to each and serve as a fun touch to hopefully hold “Animal Crossing” fans over for just a few more months.

#5: Incineroar

With his gimmick as a pro wrestling-inspired Pokemon, it only makes sense for Incineroar’s Final Smash to be fittingly outlandish. Incineroar’s brutal attack whips one unlucky player into the middle of an epic wrestling match; one where they happen to be getting destroyed by the Pokemon. Incineroar lands several high-flying strikes before headbutting the player down into the ring and blowing the entire arena up. After that brief interruption, the game returns to normal with Incineroar launching the player into the air, most likely to their death. This one definitely gets extra points for creativity.

#4: Yoshi

I don’t know about you, but when I think of Yoshi, I imagine cute cuddly things and teamwork with family and friends. For Yoshi’s brand new Final Smash in Ultimate, well, I guess the “teamwork with family” part is present. It starts off with a head-butt to a dry deserted land. Then suddenly, a massive army of Yoshis come running down a mountain to trample over everyone caught in the action. Now that’s a supportive family! Also, when did my Nintendo fighting game turn into a scene from “The Lion King”? (Just for the record, we know it’s actually a Melee reference, and we love it.)

#3: Mega Man

If this were a real fight, this Final Smash would just feel like cheating. When activated, Mega Man shoots a spinning black hole that sucks players into another dimension with… five different versions of Mega Man, along with Proto Man and Bass. The Mega Men each get their own brief showcase before the posse lines you up and blasts you like it’s the Old West. Then, the unfortunate players are just thrown back into the game like nothing. If the only way you can win is to bring along friends, maybe you don’t deserve to play, Mega Man!

#2: King K. Rool

Donkey Kong villain King K. Rool has earned quite the notorious reputation since the release of “Ultimate,” from his terrifying crown throws to his heavy-hitting slams all the way to his utterly preposterous Final Smash. Hold onto your seat belts, because a lot happens in quite a short amount of time here. In one deft belly slam, K. Rool launches players all the way to D.K. Island, while he lands across the water in his tower ship. He has a good laugh and then fires a laser at the players, completely destroying the island. Seriously, what is it with this game and lasers?

#1: Ridley

When dinosaur space pirate and villain of the Metroid series Ridley was announced to be joining the “Smash Bros. Ultimate” roster, many fans lost their minds. Rightfully so, because if his Final Smash is any indication, Ridley is one of the most ridiculously powerful characters in the game. After activating his Final Smash, Ridley screams and knocks any players in his way up into space, where they smash into Samus’ spaceship. There, Ridley hits players with the old Shoop Da Whoop, blasting both them and Samus’ ship back down onto the stage. You can actually see the ship crashing in the background following the attack, which was an excellent touch.
