Who doesn't love Pedro Pascal? For this list, we'll be looking at the most notable times this versatile actor made us laugh, swoon, and everything in between. Our countdown includes lie detector test, TikTok Live Lovefest, supporting his sister Lux Pascal, and more!

#10: Lie Detector Test

Pedro Pascal seems like a relatively honest person. Well, despite technically lying as an actor for a living. And this interview with Vanity Fair backed that theory for the most part. Pascal was hit with some tough questions like his true opinion of the “Game of Thrones” series finale – yeesh. When talking about social media, he recalled a particularly mean comment someone made about his looks. But being the laidback goofball that he is, he just laughed. That’s right, haters can’t get this man down. And if they do, he’ll just look up Pedro Pascal fan accounts to remind himself he’s a total heartthrob. Or he’ll repeat his now iconic line.

#9: His Essentials Interview

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Ryan Gosling

This 2018 GQ interview was one of the first times fans got some insights into the life and mind of Pedro Pascal. And while some celebs may bring more pricey, exclusive items, Pascal largely opted for the bare essentials like basic toiletries, a ball cap, and Toms shoes. Hey, the man likes to be comfortable, and we’re here for it. He did mention a fancy Cartier watch but since he didn’t actually have it with him, he requested a drawing of the item be added in post. But what really stood out was his love for Cap’n Crunch and Hugo Boss undies. Oh, and his exciting book about death!

#8: THE Oberyn Martell

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Jacob Elordi

Given the amount of career-making performances on “Game of Thrones,” it becomes all the more remarkable to think that Pedro Pascal, on the cusp of fame, managed to steal the show in only 7 episodes in season 4. Pascal’s portrayal of the Red Viper of Dorne, Oberyn Martell was absolutely dripping with magnetism and cockiness, and brought chaos in his wake. Unfortunately, his character, like many fan-favorites on the series, didn’t live to a ripe old age. But while we very much wanted to unsee that horrible end, we kind of knew then and there that that might not be the last time we’d see Pedro Pascal on our screens.

#7: TikTok Live Lovefest

Top 10 Best Celebrity TikTok Accounts

While doing press for 2022’s “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent”, Pedro Pascal took over Lionsgate’s TikTok account to interact with fans. His wonderful sense of humor and playfulness kept us smiling at our screens for way too long. We also couldn’t get enough of the abundance of love and slew of Gen Z slang. He weighed in on the “daddy” debate, which was a hot topic in the comments, of course. We also learned important facts about him, like that he’s a fan of Lana Del Rey, and he’s not afraid of ghosts and in fact thinks they’re great. All jokes and thirsting aside, Pascal’s love for his fans is further proof that he’s one of the most endearing entertainers ever.

#6: Hosting “Saturday Night Live”

2023 might just be the year of Pedro Pascal, who’s career is booming. In February, he hosted “SNL” for the first time, kicking it off with a monologue showing his genuine joy to be there. He also notably donned a ‘stache and plumber’s uniform for a gritty “Mario Kart” series parody trailer, a show we didn’t know we needed until now. But the most loved moment of the night has to be the skit with Pascal as a cool high school teacher, the subject of many of students’ fancam edits. That’s something the actor himself can likely relate to. From his touching monologue to his hilarious character breaks, Pedro Pascal’s excitement as host made him one of the show’s best yet.

#5: Virtual Reading with the Cast of “Community”

Back when the world was on lockdown in 2020, several casts and creators reunited for virtual table readings of the film or television series they worked on. “Community” creator Dan Harmon got together with the core cast to reenact season 5’s “Cooperative Polygraphy,” with Pedro Pascal taking on the guest role of Mr. Stone. Originally played by Walton Goggins, Pierce’s executor Mr. Stone conducts a polygraph test on the study group and later bequeaths them some of Pierce’s, um, remains. Pascal had a bit of trouble delivering some of the hysterical lines, causing everyone to join in his uncontrollable chuckles. Good luck watching this without doubling over in laughter, too.

#4: “The Last of Us” Press Tour with Bella Ramsey

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Florence Pugh

Pascal often plays hardened grumps, but fans know his real-life personality is goofy and kind. In HBO’s “The Last of Us”, his character Joel Miller initially has little interest in getting to know the girl he’s smuggling across the country. And Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey, wears her attitude as armor. But off set, the actors have a very different relationship. The two have incredible chemistry on and off screen, and as we’ve seen in many interviews, they’re just plain cute together. The hugs, the laughs, the witty banter; their dynamic is almost like something you’d find among siblings. And did we mention how funny this duo is in interviews?

#3: Supporting His Sister Lux Pascal

Did you know there’s more than one thespian in the Pascal family? That’s right. Pedro’s younger sister Lux is an actress, activist, and a soon-to-be Juilliard School graduate. In February 2021, she appeared on the cover of Ya magazine. Her proud big bro shared it on Instagram, with the caption “Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux” meaning “My sister, my heart, our Lux.” This was also when the actress first publicly talked about her identity as a trans woman, her transition, and her activism in the transgender community. Lux also credited her brother as a vital source of support during her journey to becoming her authentic self.

#2: Becoming the Mandalorian

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Brendan Fraser

Pedro Pascal has been on a steady rise to fame since 2014 when he appeared in the fourth season of “Game of Thrones” as Oberyn Martell. But by 2019, nearly everyone knew the actor as the star of Disney+’s first live-action “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian.” His initial disbelief that creator Jon Favreau wanted him to be the lead shows his true humility as a performer. While his character Din Djarin tried (and failed) to resist bonding with the Child, Pascal has developed a paternal love for Grogu. Yes, he’s phenomenal in the role because he’s a talented actor. But his dedication to the part and endearing child-like excitement to be in the franchise make his performance out of this world. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. #1: His Friendship with Oscar Isaac

Also in:

Top 10 Moments That Made Us Love Oscar Isaac

What happens when two of today’s most beloved actors are best friends in real life? The Internet goes nuts! Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac’s friendship can be traced to their off-Broadway days in the mid-2000s. And before the Daddy War of 2022, they shared the screen in 2019’s “Triple Frontier.” While doing press for the film, their WIRED interview became the ultimate showcase of their chaotic friendship. We get discussions on facial hair, muppet look-alikes, Isaac’s international language of annoying, and more. So we totally see why the video was liked over 300,000 times. The close bond the pair share is the best, though Pascal’s friendship with Sarah Paulson is a close second.
