#9: Rumba to “I've Got to See You Again” by Norah Jones

Cameron Mathison & Edyta Śliwińska Few dancers can transport audiences to a world of smoldering sensuality quite like Edyta Śliwińska. Of course, having such smoking chemistry with her celebrity partner, Cameron Mathison, certainly contributed to this exceptional performance. Their connection lights up the floor as soon as the music begins, immediately drawing audiences into their intimate routine. They move as one, with each step radiating desire and sultriness. The hypnotic sway of their hips and intense embraces leaves viewers needing to fan themselves off. Everything about it radiates pure, unbridled sensuality. #6: Foxtrot to “All of Me” by John Legend

Meryl Davis & Maksim Chmerkovskiy If we asked a hundred people which dance style would most likely get them feeling romantic, we doubt too many would say the foxtrot. But those people probably haven’t seen it danced by Meryl Davis & Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Here, it exudes a gentle seductiveness with eye-catching movements and off-the-charts heat. The pair’s connection is palpable, and their ability to convey a plethora of emotions through their dance cemented them as the ones to watch that season. They also present an engaging story, allowing us to connect to the routine on an emotional level. The dance may be slow and impassioned, but it certainly leaves audiences fired up.

#5: Argentine Tango to “One Time” by Marian Hill

Paige VanZant & Mark Ballas The Argentine tango is often known as a dance of seduction, and that's exactly what this routine is about. The duo share a fierce connection that grabs the audience's attention right from the start. With their intense and suggestive moves, they perfectly capture the spirit of the Argentine tango. It's exciting, intense, and steamy, and their use of props adds even more spice to the mix. They skillfully blend passion, magnetism, and drama into a hypnotic performance on the dance floor. Their routine showcases the artistry and allure that the Argentine tango demands, leaving us completely captivated and maybe in need of a cool-down.

#4: Viennese Waltz to “Earned It” by the Weeknd

Rumer Willis & Valentin Chmerkovskiy We could already feel the excitement bubbling when we realized that Rumer and Val would be dancing a “Fifty Shades of Grey” themed Viennese waltz. Their performance here sizzles with a burning passion and a chemistry that could rival the characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele themselves. They both play their parts so well— almost too well. They not only dance beautifully, but also tell a captivating, emotional tale through their graceful moves. It’s no surprise that their performances sparked rumors about them dating. We were still catching our breath from this tantalizing number when their “Toxic” freestyle left us breathless again. We’re addicted to the heat Rumer and Val brought.

#3: Argentine Tango to “Assassin's Tango” by John Powell

Gilles Marini & Cheryl Burke Let’s be honest: this pairing could make any dance style sexy. Just look at their salsa! But things got extra spicy when they danced the Argentine tango. There’s an undeniable sexual and dramatic tension throughout the routine, heightened only by the lighting and music. Their intricate steps are enticing, while their unwavering bond throughout makes the overall feel of the dance electric. Just as we think it can’t get much hotter, there’s a tempo change, and the tension and heat intensify. Their footwork, connection, and choreography has us spellbound, leaving us thirsting for a drink of ice cold water.

#2: Argentine Tango to “Hands to Myself” by Selena Gomez

Jana Kramer & Gleb Savchenko This duo took a more risqué approach to their Argentine tango. Starting on a bed, they bring a burning heat that makes us feel like we’re intruding on a private, intimate moment. Their intensifying bond as they transition into impressively detailed footwork, could’ve easily set the stage ablaze. It’s like a mighty storm of intense emotions filled with confidence, passion, and lust. This is all exemplified in their near-flawless technique, incorporating sharp staccato steps with longer, dramatic moves that tease the audience. Jana and Gleb aren’t the only ones in need of a cold shower by the end. The entire room is left simmering. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
