Top 10 Funniest Disney Channel Shows EVER
VOICE OVER: Jennifer Silverman WRITTEN BY: Joey Turner
Get ready to laugh your way through the most hilarious Disney Channel shows of all time! From magical mishaps to hotel hijinks, we're counting down the sitcoms and animated series that had us in stitches. Prepare for a nostalgic comedy trip down memory lane! Our countdown features iconic shows like "That's So Raven", "Lizzie McGuire", "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody", and more that defined a generation of Disney comedy!

Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re looking at the Disney sitcoms and animated programs that leave us in stitches every time we turn them on.

#10: “Lizzie McGuire” (2001-04)

Remember the awkward years of junior high? Learning to cope with the rise to young adulthood while trying to find where you belong? Luckily, Hilary Duff was forced to share your pain as the titular Lizzie McGuire. Most of the humor comes from how relatable Lizzie and her friends’ growing experience is. They face all the speed bumps alongside the target audience. But if the show ever gets TOO real for your liking, it also keeps us in stitches with Animated Lizzie’s scenes. This allows the animators to go nuts as she acts out the live-action Lizzie’s inner thoughts.

#9: “Liv and Maddie” (2013-17)

With the mockumentary-style format’s ever-growing popularity, Disney decided to make their own take on the genre – but with a twist of double trouble. After being away in Hollywood for so long, Liv has returned to her twin sister Maddie to try being a normal teenager again – which would be nice if Maddie wasn’t stuck in her twin’s shadow. While these two have an unbreakable bond, their conflicting personalities are too amusing not to watch the madness unfold. What makes the twins’ comedy all the more impressive is how actress Dove Cameron does the work of two girls and makes us laugh the whole way through.

#8: “Lab Rats” (2012-16)

Of all the things Leo Dooley could’ve discovered after his mom married a tech genius, three bionic superhumans living in his basement probably wouldn’t have made the top ten. These three have been programmed and trained all their lives to take on impossible undercover missions, and now Leo is giving them a chance to experience life as normal teenagers. It’s a sweet gesture… as long as you don’t mind the superhuman chaos, quirky personalities, and glitches that come with this trio. While the drama built up as the series progressed, the chemistry between the actors during their quirky, misfit scenes left a smile on our faces and made us snicker more than once.

#7: “Good Luck Charlie” (2010-14)

Throughout the series, Teddy Duncan is putting together a video diary for her infant sister Charlie full of helpful advice for surviving life. With their family, Charlie will need all the help she can get. Between an embarrassing dad, an attention-seeking mom, a jealous little brother, and a dimwitted older brother, Teddy has no shortage of wisdom for little Charlie… as long as she can survive the madness herself. With so many zany personalities clashing, it’s impossible not to laugh at the Duncans’ dynamic while relating to them as a family. All we can do is pray that Charlie grows up just fine… if not, we know exactly who to blame.

#6: “Hannah Montana” (2006-11)

Before Miley Cyrus came in like a wrecking ball, she was better known as the fictional pop star Hannah Montana. If you think high school is tough, try juggling it and keeping your celebrity status a secret from everyone around you. Miley’s close calls trying to keep her secret safe are uproarious enough, but the hilarity keeps on rolling when you throw her brother Jackson and their father Robbie into the mix. Miley may not appreciate Robbie’s puns, but we can’t help snickering, and Jackson’s dimwitted antics have our sides aching for hours. Combining the laughs with some inspirational, heartfelt moments made this show a massive stepping stone for Cyrus’ career.

#5: “Phineas and Ferb” (2007-15)

You have a whole summer of fun ahead of you – how do you spend it? If you’re like Phineas and Ferb, you make the most of it in every way imaginable. No feat is too absurd or impossible for these two stepbrothers, and they miraculously manage to clean it all up before their sister Candace can bust them. While it’s tragic and frustrating for Candace, it’s too amusing for us. If the trio’s misadventures don’t tickle your funny bone, there’s also the ongoing battle between Perry the Platypus and Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and Doof is a powerhouse of comedy in his own right. The humor and fun this series offered ensured that it never truly left, even after its original run ended.

#4: “Wizards of Waverly Place” (2007-12)

Of course, we can’t forget about the series that put Selena Gomez on the map. In this teen fantasy series, she and her two brothers – Jake and Max – are training to be wizards in New York City. Along with the usual teenage hardships, they find themselves facing a plethora of magical mishaps as they try to conceal their mystical abilities from the outside world. There are plenty of relatable and heartfelt moments that made us fall in love with the family and more than enough laughs to leave us in hysterics all night long. Most of these are provided by Max… who may not be as dumb as we think.

#3: “Even Stevens” (2000-03)

Siblings fight; it’s just a way of life. Some sibling squabbles aren’t fun, but for Louis and Ren, it’s a riot. Louis is the chaotic, gross younger brother with a scheme under his belt. Conversely, Ren is the straight-laced middle child who strives to be the best – only occasionally getting swept up in Louis’ shenanigans. Both leading actors are comedic powerhouses on their own, but when their conflicting personalities collide, absolutely no one is safe. Of course, they have their fair share of heartwarming moments, but those can’t compare to the hilarity of their ongoing war with each other. And heaven help their parents and older brother if they get caught in the crossfire.

#2: “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” (2005-08)

What could go wrong if you give two 12-year-old boys the keys to a luxury hotel? Absolutely everything, and we’ll be laughing the whole way through. When their mother takes a job at the Tipton Hotel, Zack and Cody waste no time settling in and causing mayhem for everyone around them, and each other. But what if our twosome’s antics aren’t funny enough? In that case, we also have the misadventures of the hotel’s owner, London Tipton, and the stern hotel manager, Mr. Moseby – who ends up dealing with all the mischief. The series’ humor and popularity ensured that it would earn a sequel series, “The Suite Life on Deck,” where the cast takes their chaos on the open seas.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

#1: “That's So Raven” (2003-07)

If we could see the future, life would be so much better, right? Not if you’re Raven Baxter, a high school fashionista with premonition powers. She does what she can to prevent the visions from coming true, only for it to almost always backfire hilariously. The premise alone has loads of comedic potential, but what makes it even better is Raven herself. Her charisma and handling of physical comedy left us all howling with laughter in the early 2000s – especially when she’s bouncing off the rest of the cast. We didn’t need psychic powers to see that this show would be a powerhouse classic with its wacky premise, hilarious cast, and smart, rib-tickling writing.
