Top 10 Dragon Ball Evil Transformations
Top 10 Dragon Ball Evil Transformations
Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the greatest villainous transformations in Dragon Ball. In the interest of fairness, we’re going to be making it one transformation per villain, just so that Lord Frieza doesn’t take up half the list!#10: King Piccolo Regains His YouthWith how long Piccolo has been around these days, we tend to forget that his father was the actual series introduction to the Namekian race. After being confined for many years, the demon king had noticeably aged when he was finally released. In order to regain his youth, he seeks out the Dragon Balls, and finally obtains them after defeating both Goku and Master Roshi. Despite Tien and Chiaotzu's best attempts to prevent him, King Piccolo finally makes his wish, and swaps his wrinkles for plenty of muscle. Eager to try out his renewed powers, King Piccolo immediately kills Shenron with a Mouth Energy Wave, preventing anyone from using the Dragon Balls against him.#9: Third Eye GomahLet’s face it, Gomah was treated like an absolute joke for a good majority of Daima, so he was gonna have to take some pretty big drastic measures in order to become a threat. After finally obtaining the much sought after Evil Third Eye, Gomah gets a demon girl to insert it into his forehead. With the power of the legendary magic artifact, the small in stature Gomah increases in size several times over and bulks out. Although he pretty much looks like a more swole version of himself, his newfound powers are quickly put on display when he easily tosses Vegeta aside.#8: Vegeta Becomes MajinFor the longest time, Vegeta had been endlessly frustrated with the fact that he could not keep up with his eternal rival Goku. With this corrupting the Saiyan Prince’s heart, Babidi decides to take advantage of this, and uses a spell to take control of him. Vegeta falls to his knees in pain, trying to resist the Evil Wizards Magic, but it’s no use as his new dark powers blow even Gohan away. Once the transformation is complete, a new sinister Vegeta emerges with an M symbol on his forehead and an attitude much like the old self from the Saiyan Saga.#7: Super Saiyan RoséConsidering the fact that Goku originally had a destructive nature before hitting his head, we’ve always wondered what an Evil Goku would be like. While we won’t get too deep into the schematics behind Goku Black, we can say for sure he’s the closest thing we’ll ever get to it. Keen to showcase his powers to Vegeta, Goku Black powers up enough to cause a giant earthquake. What comes from it is not a form of Super Saiyan that we’ve seen before. Instead, Goku Black reveals a much more divine look, known as Super Saiyan Rosé. Who knew Pink hair could look so good on a Saiyan!#6: Super JanembaWe’d be lying if we said Janemba’s initial form was intimidating. The large, round and yellow fella didn’t exactly match the living definition of evil. All of this would change however after Goku turned Super Saiyan 3 and seemingly defeated him. Janemba suddenly disfigures into a disgusting mass of flesh, warping into different shapes and sizes that even puts Goku off. Once this freaky transformation is complete, Janeba takes on a new slimmer, sleeker form, and honestly one of the most badass looking villain designs in all of Dragon Ball.#5: Super Baby VegetaGT rightfully gets a lot of flack for a lot of different things, but we have to give them credit where it is due for the cool design and concept of the villain Baby. Weird name aside, the last survivor of the Tuffle race takes over Vegeta and easily defeats Goku. This isn’t enough for him however, as he commands the other mind-controlled Saiyans to give him their power. Hand in hand, the four surround him and channel their energy into him, with things looking pretty darn creepy with the bright red eyes. What results from this transformation is an even more buff version of Vegeta with red markings and badass winged pauldrons emerging from his shoulders.#4: Perfect CellCompared to a lot of the other entries on this list, Cell actually had to put some work in in order to transform into his final form. In order to achieve it, he had to absorb his fellow Androids, and that moment would finally come when his disgusting gaping tail sucks in Android 18, despite Krillin's best efforts. The Z fighters are pretty much powerless as a blinding light emanates from Cell’s body and not even Trunk’s attack can stop the transformation. Cell’s energy is so great it envelops the entire planet, and what emerges is certainly a more dignified form compared to his previous, much to the delight of Vegeta.#3: The Legendary Super SaiyanThis isn’t the Broly you know from the Super movie! No, this Broly is a sadistic and malicious villain, who relishes in destruction. Breaking free from his fathers mind-control device, the Saiyan goes into a rage, powering up and exploding into a ball of light while almost blowing up the whole planet. Broly was already a buff dude, but the amount of muscle he packs now is just ridiculous. His transformation into the Legendary Super Saiyan is so strong, that it causes Vegeta to back out of his own Super Saiyan form!#2: Super Buu
Mr. Satan was so close to converting Majin Buu to the good side and avoiding the untold destruction he could cause… but alas, evil managed to triumph. After a series of events lead to him dispelling the darkness within him which would manifest as the aptly named Evil Buu, the two come to blows but ultimately the nasty version takes the W. One delicious chunk of chocolate later, and their arena is covered in pink steam. Nothing could prepare us for the menacing figure that would appear when the dust settled.#1: Frieza’s Second Transformation
They don’t come much more evil than Dragon Ball’s most iconic villain, the space tyrant himself, Frieza. While many will jump to Freiza’s final form for this sort of list, there’s just something so insanely dark and sinister about his third form. He was already mopping the floor with the Z-fighers in his second form, Frieza chooses to prove how pointless their struggles are by busting out this body horror-esque leap to form number three. Once complete, it’s a grotesque new appearance that perhaps most closely resembles the evil in Freiza’s black heart.Which of these transformations are your favorite?
