VOICE OVER: Emily Brayton
Bet you didn't know these celebrities were bisexual! We're talking about Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Rodriguez, Kesha, Andy Dick, Megan Mullally, Fergie and Drew Barrymore! These celebs have admitted that they swing both ways in interviews, although many of them are married to the opposite sex.

#10: Vanessa Carlton

Back in 2010, when performing at a Nashville Pride event, singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton declared to the crowd that she is proudly bisexual. It was sort of a spur of the moment announcement too, she admitted. When she spotted a couple in the audience, she wanted to tell them that she could really connect with their struggle, and so she opened up to not just them, but the whole world. While the big reveal was certainly appreciated, she acknowledges that the way in which she came out caught her family off-guard. According to the singer, she now feels a deeper connection with her fans, and hasn’t looked back.

#9: Michelle Rodriguez

When it comes to fearless ladies in Hollywood, you’re sure to find Ms. Rodriguez’s name near the top of any list. Not only has she taken on a wide variety of badass onscreen roles, but she’s proven equally unflinching when it comes to expressing herself. Several years ago, the “Lost” star became candid about the fact that she is attracted to both men and women, making it clear that she has no time to waste on what other people think about her. In an interview with GSN, she explained that she hopes that her openness about her bisexuality will encourage others who might be afraid to come out, and inspire them to do the same.

#8: Kesha

When asked to explain their preferences, many people in the bisexual community will give a similar answer: They’re not attracted to a gender, they’re attracted to a person. It’s really that straight-forward. American pop star Kesha has expressed similar sentiments regarding her sexuality. Upfront and not afraid to be who she is, she has used her platform as a celebrity to speak out for the bi-community, and against bullying in general. In the February 2013 issue of “Seventeen” magazine, she stated that she has “zero tolerance for people making fun of others.” Kesha is an ordained minister and has performed ceremonies for both homosexual and heterosexual couples.

#7: Andy Dick

Andy Dick has had his fair share of struggles over the years. Most notably with alcohol, but also with “acceptance” - people are constantly denying his bisexuality. A sad story shared by many who identify as bisexual is the lack of acceptance they feel in either the homosexual or heterosexual communities. Long thought by many to be gay, Andy Dick has frankly explained that he feels that love and attraction have no gender and that he is bisexual. Nevertheless, rumors that he is gay through-and-through have persisted despite his insistence that he enjoys the company of both men and women. According to him, he’s honestly willing to try just about anything.

#6: Fergie

Around the same time she married her husband, Josh Duhamel, in 2009, this Black Eyed Pea became open about her attraction to women, and the fact that she has had intimate encounters with ladies in the past. However, she has been very clear that just because she is attracted to women doesn’t mean that she is unfaithful, or that this sexual identity gives her an excuse to have an affair. The couple has had their share of rumors and scandals, but so far seem to be going strong and work as proof that monogamy has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

#5: Aubrey Plaza

This “Parks and Recreation” star surprised many when in an interview with “Advocate” magazine, she was frank about her attraction to both men and women, saying that women are into her and she is into them too. This personal admission was made in an incredibly casual way, but hey, Aubrey Plaza is nothing if not chill. According to the actress, she grew up with many gay friends and several gay family members, so it was never not normal for her. In the same interview, when asked about her popularity in among the LGBT community, she jokingly compared herself to an older gay man, talking about her obsession with Judy Garland.

#4: Megan Mullally

While most recently known for her turn as Tammy 1, Ron Swanson’s aggressively carnal first wife on “Parks and Recreation,” some of you might best remember this actress as hilarious, alcoholic socialite Karen Walker from the groundbreaking gay-positive sitcom, “Will and Grace.” In 1999, Mullally told “The Advocate” that she considered herself bisexual, and thought that everyone was a little. She has since elaborated on that view, saying she meant that everyone is a little attracted to everyone and that no one, man or woman, should be afraid of intimate relationships with the same gender. But, she clarified, that doesn’t mean that the attraction has to “manifest as a sexual thing.”

Come on, she knows what girl power is all about – and it was no phase! Former Scary Spice has recently made that very clear. While happily married and the mother of three now, back in her Spice Girls days, Melanie Brown was in a committed relationship with a woman. When questioned whether this was just an “experiment,” she held her ground, explaining that it wasn’t an experiment at all – it was a caring relationship of five years. Best of all, this champion of female friendship – and relationships – is in no way shape or form shy about her past, embracing that side of her life wholly.

#2: Billie Joe Armstrong

Back in 1995, Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong told the world that he believed he was bisexual, stating that he thinks many people are born bi, but are taught it is bad and taboo. Calling it at the time “a very beautiful thing” he has since clarified to Out magazine that he doesn’t really classify himself as anything, stating “I want respect my wife”. That’s sweet and all, but his onstage persona certainly has a tendency to lock lips with men. If Billie Joe is ready to close that chapter in his life, that’s his choice. But if that is the case… we think there’s likely to be some very disappointed male fans out there. Before we unveil our number one spot, here are a few honorable mentions: Jillian Michaels Drea de Matteo Brandi Glanville

#1: Drew Barrymore

This actress and director has rarely been shy about her bisexuality. In fact, since the early 2000s, she has stated repeatedly in interviews that she is attracted to both men and women. For example, in a 2003 interview with Contact Music, she stated "Do I like women sexually? Yeah, I do. Totally. I have always considered myself bisexual." Doesn’t get any clearer than that! She did, however, refrain from discussing the matter on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, but perhaps it was due to his regrettable descriptor of choice... [lady pond] Yikes. In 2013, the multi-talented star hosted the 24th annual GLAAD Awards, honoring those in the media who have helped improve the LGBT community through representation. So, do you agree with our list?
