#10: Madonna Encourages Underage Drinking

Also in:

Top 5 Most Outrageous Madonna Outfits

Sure, it’s no surprise that not exactly everyone follows the law when it comes to drinking. But when you’re a world famous celebrity, it’s probably best to not post a picture of your underage son drinking with his friends… especially when you most likely supplied the alcohol. In this blunder, we see Madonna trying to be the cool mom, supplying vodka and gin to her son, who was only 13 years old at the time, and his friends. With the caption “The party has just begun! Bring it!” Madonna soon became the focal point of controversy when she posted this incriminating picture to Instagram.

#9: Donald Trump Retweets a Picture of Serial Killers

Also in:

Top 10 Celebrities Who Support Donald Trump

Donald Trump isn’t exactly known for his political correctness, so his controversial Twitter feed is always good for a laugh. However, even Trump himself couldn’t predict this gaffe. After being asked by comedian Philip Bradbury, twitter handle @feckhead, to retweet a picture of his supportive “parents,” Trump unknowingly obliged… without realizing the photo was actually of serial killers Fred and Rosemary West. This couple raped and killed young girls in England throughout the ‘60s-’80s. We’d feel kind of bad for him, but the twitter handle WAS @feckhead, and if that isn’t a giant red flag, we don’t know what is. Also, he made a similar mistake in 2015 when he retweeted a photo of what he was led to believe was a Vietnam vet, when it was, in fact, of convicted murderer and U.S. army officer Jeffrey MacDonald.

#8: Willow Smith’s May / December Creepiness

The Smiths are an odd family, what with Jaden’s “philosophical” Twitter ramblings and Willow’s incriminating pedophilia pictures on Instagram… yes, back in 2013, Willow, then aged 13, posted a picture of herself lying in bed next to shirtless Moises Arias, who was 20 years old at the time, and the Internet exploded with accusations and disgust. It was so severe that the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services investigated Will and Jada in regards to their questionable parenting. While it was meant to be artsy, it only caused nothing but controversy. Whoops.

#7: James Franco Hits on Teenaged Girl

Speaking of creepy, James Franco certainly is an odd fellow, isn’t he? This notion seemed further validated when he began hitting on a 17 year old girl over Instagram in 2014. After meeting Franco in New York at his Broadway show and filming and tagging him in a short video, he proceeded to ask her personal questions over Instagram and through text, including whether or not she had a boyfriend and where she was staying. The conversation soon spread like wildfire, forcing James to admit on TV that he’s not exactly a great role model when it comes tosocial media. At least he admitted it.

#6: Charlie Sheen Tweets His Personal Phone Number

Charlie Sheen has had his ups and downs, but this blunder reached his fans on a personal level. Literally. In 2011, when trying to message Justin Bieber and ask the young pop star to call him, he accidentally tweeted out his personal phone number to his five and a half million Twitter followers. This caused his phone to blow up with text messages and phone calls. After answering a few like a trooper, the tweet was quickly deleted and the number has since gone out of service.

#5: Kris Jenner Is Caught Photoshopping

Look, we get it. You’re not as young as you used to be. But that’s only natural. So don’t try to Photoshop yourself to look younger, because you WILL be caught. This is what happened to Kris Jenner in 2014, after she posted a photo of hersekf with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. While she looked much younger and smoother in her version of the Instagram pic, Gordon’s picture – posted a few days before her own - showed her real face. This quickly had her followers noticing and questioning how much airbrushing and photoshopping was involved - and as you’d imagine - they didn’t take too kindly to it. But hey, at least she shared the photoshopping wealth with Ramsay, right?

#4: Bow Wow Tweets About Driving Drunk

Also in:

Top 10 Cutest Celebrity Pregnancy Announcements

We guess Bow Wow has to try and stay relevant somehow, but tweeting about how he’s too drunk to drive is clearly not the way to do it. After leaving a New Year’s Eve party, Bow Wow tweeted a borderline incomprehensible message about being drunk and driving his Lamborghini while he was with musician Chris Brown. The next morning, after intense media backlash, Bow Wow promptly deleted the tweets and wrote an apology to his fans, claiming that his behavior was stupid and immature. Ya, think?!

#3: Robin Thicke’s Incriminating Reflection

After “Blurred Lines” was released, Robin Thicke’s ego certainly inflated, as he wrongly believed that he was on top of the world. After performing at the 2013 VMAs, where he rubbed against Miley Cyrus, he took the scandalous behavior even further when he took a photo with fan and was caught grabbing her butt through the reflection of a mirror that was located behind them. Though she was the one who posted it online, Thicke’s questionable judgment and actions during a time when everyone has a smartphone and instant internet access can only be blamed on him and him alone. Not too long after that, his wife, Paula Patton, whom he began dating in 1993, filed for divorce. While it’s never been proven that the divorce stemmed from this particular type of behavior, it certainly couldn’t have helped.

#2: Bill Cosby Asks His Followers to “Meme” Him

Also in:

Bill Cosby Biography: 'I Spy' to 'The Cosby Show'

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of years, beloved comedian and puddin’ pop spokesman Bill Cosby’s public image has gone south in the face of multiple rape accusations. This has effectively ruined his once-loved friendly persona, so when he asked his followers to “meme” him over Twitter shortly after the scandal gained steam in 2014, it went about as well as you’d expect. #CosbyMeme took off, with nearly everyone making jokes about his sexual assault accusations and generally besmirching his character. The tweet was immediately taken down, and Cosby sank even further into hatred and controversy. Great work, PR team; top notch.

#1: Anthony Weiner’s Wiener Snaps

Also in:

Comedian Anthony Jeselnik: What You Can't Say at Roasts

Anthony Weiner was an American politician and a former member of the House of Representatives from New York. That is, until he posted sexually explicit pictures and got caught… not once, but twice, effectively ending his career. The first scandal, dubbed Weinergate, occurred in 2011 when Weiner sent a link to an explicit picture over Twitter to a 21 year old woman. He resigned from Congress due to the backlash. However, in 2013, after running for mayor, more graphic pictures were released under the alias Carlos Danger, after having been sent to another young woman. He finished fifth with only 4.9% of the vote, and has since gone into consulting work.
