Israel's Top Cities

The Judean Desert
For those interested in history and archaeology, Masada is a site where ancient fortifications and palaces once stood. It was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001. Located at the top of a rock highland, the site overlooks both the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. Visitors can choose to hike up the side of the mountain, which is considered part of the "Masada experience." However, you may wish to soar over the Judean desert in a cable car to reach the top.
Beach Town
Israel southernmost city, Eilat is another of the country’s ports. It is a popular resort town because of its beaches, nightlife and desert scenery. Water sports are a popular activity, and scuba diving is available year-round due to the area’s desert climate.
Israel’s cities are rich in ambiance and culture, but also boast gorgeous geography that make them popular with both locals and visitors.
